1 וְאֵלֶּה הָיוּ בְּנֵי דָויִד אֲשֶׁר נֹולַד־לֹו בְּחֶבְרֹון הַבְּכֹור ׀ אַמְנֹן לַאֲחִינֹעַם הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִית שֵׁנִי דָּנִיֵּאל לַאֲבִיגַיִל הַכַּרְמְלִית	1 These are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the first-born Amnon, by Ahinoam ofJezreel; second, Daniel, by Abigail of Carmel;
2 הַשְּׁלִשִׁי לְאַבְשָׁלֹום בֶּן־מַעֲכָה בַּת־תַּלְמַי מֶלֶךְ גְּשׁוּר הָרְבִיעִי אֲדֹנִיָּה בֶן־חַגִּית	2 third, Absalom son of Maacah, daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; fourth, Adonijah son of Haggith;
3 הַחֲמִישִׁי שְׁפַטְיָה לַאֲבִיטָל הַשִּׁשִּׁי יִתְרְעָם לְעֶגְלָה אִשְׁתֹּו	3 fifth, Shephatiah by Abital, sixth, Ithream by his wife Eglah.
4 שִׁשָּׁה נֹולַד־לֹו בְחֶבְרֹון וַיִּמְלָךְ־שָׁם שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים וְשִׁשָּׁה חֳדָשִׁים וּשְׁלֹשִׁים וְשָׁלֹושׁ שָׁנָה מָלַךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָם׃ ס	4 Six, therefore, were born to him in Hebron, where he reigned for three years and six months. Hereigned for thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
5 וְאֵלֶּה נוּלְּדוּ־לֹו בִּירוּשָׁלָיִם מְעָא וְשֹׁובָב וְנָתָן וּשְׁלֹמֹה אַרְבָּעָה לְבַת־שׁוּעַ בַּת־עַמִּיאֵל	5 These are the sons who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shimea, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, the four ofthem children of Bath-Shua daughter of Ammiel;
6 וְיִבְחָר וֶאֱלִישָׁמָע וֶאֱלִיפָלֶט	6 Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,
7 וְנֹגַהּ וְנֶפֶג וְיָפִיעַ	7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia,
8 וֶאֱלִישָׁמָע וְאֶלְיָדָע וֶאֱלִיפֶלֶט תִּשְׁעָה	8 Elishama, Eliada, Eliphelet: nine.
9 כֹּל בְּנֵי דָוִיד מִלְּבַד בְּנֵי־פִילַגְשִׁים וְתָמָר אֲחֹותָם׃ פ	9 Al these were sons of David, not counting the sons of the concubines. Tamar was their sister.
10 וּבֶן־שְׁלֹמֹה רְחַבְעָם אֲבִיָּה בְנֹו אָסָא בְנֹו יְהֹושָׁפָט בְּנֹו	10 Sons of Solomon: Rehoboam; Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,
11 יֹורָם בְּנֹו אֲחַזְיָהוּ בְנֹו יֹואָשׁ בְּנֹו	11 Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,
12 אֲמַצְיָהוּ בְנֹו עֲזַרְיָה בְנֹו יֹותָם בְּנֹו	12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,
13 אָחָז בְּנֹו חִזְקִיָּהוּ בְנֹו מְנַשֶּׁה בְנֹו	13 Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,
14 אָמֹון בְּנֹו יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ בְנֹו	14 Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15 וּבְנֵי יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ הַבְּכֹור יֹוחָנָן הַשֵּׁנִי יְהֹויָקִים הַשְּׁלִשִׁי צִדְקִיָּהוּ הָרְבִיעִי שַׁלּוּם	15 Sons of Josiah: Johanan, the first-born, Jehoiakim second, Zedekiah third, Shal um fourth.
16 וּבְנֵי יְהֹויָקִים יְכָנְיָה בְנֹו צִדְקִיָּה בְנֹו	16 The sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.
17 וּבְנֵי יְכָנְיָה אַסִּר שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל בְּנֹו	17 Sons of Jeconiah the captive: Shealtiel his son,
18 וּמַלְכִּירָם וּפְדָיָה וְשֶׁנְאַצַּר יְקַמְיָה הֹושָׁמָע וּנְדַבְיָה	18 then Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jechamiah, Hoshama, Nedabiah.
19 וּבְנֵי פְדָיָה זְרֻבָּבֶל וְשִׁמְעִי וּבֶן־זְרֻבָּבֶל מְשֻׁלָּם וַחֲנַנְיָה וּשְׁלֹמִית אֲחֹותָם	19 Sons of Pedaiah: Zerubbabel and Shimei. Sons of Zerubbabel: Meshul am and Hananiah; Shelomithwas their sister.
20 וַחֲשֻׁבָה וָאֹהֶל וּבֶרֶכְיָה וַחֲסַדְיָה יוּשַׁב חֶסֶד חָמֵשׁ	20 Sons of Meshul am: Hashubah, Ohel, Berechiah, Hasadiah, Jushab-Hesed: five.
21 וּבֶן־חֲנַנְיָה פְּלַטְיָה וִישַׁעְיָה בְּנֵי רְפָיָה בְּנֵי אַרְנָן בְּנֵי עֹבַדְיָה בְּנֵי שְׁכַנְיָה׃ ס	21 Sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah; Jeshaiah his son, Rephaiah his son, Arnan his son, Obadiah his son,Shecaniah his son.
22 וּבְנֵי שְׁכַנְיָה שְׁמַעְיָה וּבְנֵי שְׁמַעְיָה חַטּוּשׁ וְיִגְאָל וּבָרִיחַ וּנְעַרְיָה וְשָׁפָט שִׁשָּׁה	22 Sons of Shecaniah: Shemaiah, Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, Shaphat: six.
23 וּבֶן־נְעַרְיָה אֶלְיֹועֵינַי וְחִזְקִיָּה וְעַזְרִיקָם שְׁלֹשָׁה	23 Sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, Azrikam: three.
24 וּבְנֵי אֶלְיֹועֵינַי [הֹדַיְוָהוּ כ] (הֹודַוְיָהוּ ק) וְאֶלְיָשִׁיב וּפְלָיָה וְעַקּוּב וְיֹוחָנָן וּדְלָיָה וַעֲנָנִי שִׁבְעָה׃ ס	24 Sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, Anani: seven.
