Ezechiele (حزقيال) 38

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 وكان اليّ كلام الرب قائلا	1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,
2 يا ابن آدم اجعل وجهك على جوج ارض ما جوج رئيس روش ماشك وتوبال وتنبأ عليه	2 'Son of man, turn towards Gog, to the country of Magog, towards the paramount prince of Meshechand Tubal, and prophesy against him.
3 وقل. هكذا قال السيد الرب. هانذا عليك يا جوج رئيس روش ماشك وتوبال.	3 Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I am against you, Gog, paramount prince of Meshech and Tubal.
4 وارجعك واضع شكائم في فكيك واخرجك انت وكل جيشك خيلا وفرسانا كلهم لابسين افخر لباس جماعة عظيمة مع اتراس ومجان كلهم ممسكين السيوف	4 I shal turn you about, I shall fix hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your entire army, horses andhorsemen, al perfectly equipped, a huge array armed with shields and bucklers, and al wielding swords.
5 فارس وكوش وفوط معهم كلهم بمجن وخوذة	5 Persia and Cush and Put are with them, al with buckler and helmet;
6 وجومر وكل جيوشه وبيت توجرمة من اقاصي الشمال مع كل جيشه شعوبا كثيرين معك.	6 Gomer and al its troops, Beth-Togarmah in the far north and al its troops, and many nations with you.
7 استعد وهيّئ لنفسك انت وكل جماعاتك المجتمعة اليك فصرت لهم موقرا.	7 Be ready, be wel prepared, you and al your troops and the others rallying to you, and hold yourself atmy service.
8 بعد ايام كثيرة تفتقد. في السنين الاخيرة تأتي الى الارض المستردة من السيف المجموعة من شعوب كثيرة على جبال اسرائيل التي كانت دائما خربة للذين أخرجوا من الشعوب وسكنوا آمنين كلهم.	8 "Many days will pass before you are given orders; in the final years you wil march on this country,whose inhabitants wil have been living in confidence, remote from other peoples, since they escaped the swordand were gathered in from various nations, here in the long-deserted mountains of Israel.
9 وتصعد وتأتي كزوبعة وتكون كسحابة تغشي الارض انت وكل جيوشك وشعوب كثيرون معك.	9 Like a storm you wil approach, you wil advance and cover the country like a cloud, you, al yourtroops and many nations with you.
10 هكذا قال السيد الرب. ويكون في ذلك اليوم ان أمورا تخطر ببالك فتفكر فكرا رديئا	10 "The Lord Yahweh says this: That day, a thought wil enter your mind and you wil form a sinisterplan.
11 وتقول اني اصعد على ارض اعراء. آتي الهادئين الساكنين في امن كلهم ساكنون بغير سور وليس لهم عارضة ولا مصاريع	11 You wil think: I shal attack this undefended country and march on this peaceful nation living secure,al living in towns without wal s or bars or gates.
12 لسلب السلب ولغنم الغنيمة لرد يدك على خرب معمورة وعلى شعب مجموع من الامم المقتني ماشية وقنية الساكن في اعالي الارض.	12 You wil come to plunder and loot and turn your might against the ruins they live in, against thispeople gathered back from the nations, these stock-breeders and traders who live at the Navel of the World.
13 شبا وددان وتجار ترشيش وكل اشبالها يقولون لك هل لسلب سلب انت جاء. هل لغنم غنيمة جمعت جماعتك لحمل الفضة والذهب لأخذ الماشية والقنية لنهب نهب عظيم	13 Sheba and Dedan, the merchants and all the magnates of Tarshish wil ask you: Have you come forplunder? Are you massing your troops with a view to looting? To make off with gold and silver, seize cattle and goods, and come away with unlimited spoil?"
14 لذلك تنبأ يا ابن آدم وقل لجوج. هكذا قال السيد الرب. في ذلك اليوم عند سكنى شعبي اسرائيل آمنين أفلا تعلم.	14 'So, son of man, prophesy. Say to Gog, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Is it not true that you will set outat a time when my people Israel is living secure?
15 وتأتي من موضعك من اقاصي الشمال انت وشعوب كثيرون معك كلهم راكبون خيلا جماعة عظيمة وجيش كثير.	15 You wil leave your home in the far north, you and many nations with you, a great army of countlesstroops all mounted.
16 وتصعد على شعبي اسرائيل كسحابة تغشي الارض. في الايام الاخيرة يكون. وآتي بك على ارضي لكي تعرفني الامم حين اتقدس فيك امام اعينهم يا جوج	16 You wil invade Israel, my people. You will be like a cloud covering the country. In the final days, Imyself shal bring you to attack my country, so that the nations will know who I am, when I display my holiness tothem, by means of you, Gog.
17 هكذا قال السيد الرب. هل انت هو الذي تكلمت عنه في الايام القديمة عن يد عبيدي انبياء اسرائيل الذين تنبأوا في تلك الايام سنينا ان آتي بك عليهم.	17 "The Lord Yahweh says this: It was of you that I spoke in the past through my servants the prophetsof Israel, who prophesied in those days, foretel ing your invasion.
18 ويكون في ذلك اليوم يوم مجيء جوج على ارض اسرائيل يقول السيد الرب ان غضبي يصعد في انفي.	18 The day Gog attacks the land of Israel -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- my furious wrath will boil up. Inmy anger,
19 وفي غيرتي في نار سخطي تكلمت انه في ذلك اليوم يكون رعش عظيم في ارض اسرائيل.	19 in my jealousy, in the heat of my fury I say it: That day, I swear, there wil be such a huge earthquakein the land of Israel,
20 فترعش امامي سمك البحر وطيور السماء ووحوش الحقل والدابّات التي تدب على الارض وكل الناس الذين على وجه الارض وتندك الجبال وتسقط المعاقل وتسقط كل الاسوار الى الارض.	20 that the fish in the sea and the birds of heaven, the wild beasts, al the reptiles creeping along theground, and al people on the surface of the earth will quake before me. Mountains wil fall, cliffs crumble, alwal s col apse, and
21 واستدعي السيف عليه في كل جبالي يقول السيد الرب. فيكون سيف كل واحد على اخيه.	21 I shal summon every kind of sword against him -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- and each will turn hissword against his comrade.
22 واعاقبه بالوبإ وبالدم وامطر عليه وعلى جيشه وعلى الشعوب الكثيرة الذين معه مطرا جارفا وحجارة برد عظيمة ونارا وكبريتا.	22 I shal punish him with plague and bloodshed, and rain down torrential rain, hailstones, fire andbrimstone on him, on his troops and on the many nations with him.
23 فاتعظم واتقدس وأعرف في عيون امم كثيرة فيعلمون اني انا الرب	23 I shal display my greatness and holiness and bring the many nations to acknowledge me; and theywil know that I am Yahweh." '
