Apocalipse 3

SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Ao anjo da igreja de Sardes, escreve: Eis o que diz aquele que tem os sete Espíritos de Deus e as sete estrelas. Conheço as tuas obras: és considerado vivo, mas estás morto.	1 'Write to the angel of the church in Sardis and say, "Here is the message of the one who holds theseven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know about your behaviour: how you are reputed to be alive and yetare dead.
2 Sê vigilante e consolida o resto que ia morrer, pois não achei tuas obras perfeitas diante de meu Deus.	2 Wake up; put some resolve into what little vigour you have left: it is dying fast. So far I have failed tonotice anything in your behaviour that my God could possibly cal perfect;
3 Lembra-te de como recebeste e ouviste a doutrina. Observa-a e arrepende-te. Se não vigiares, virei a ti como um ladrão, e não saberás a que horas te surpreenderei.	3 remember how you first heard the message. Hold on to that. Repent! If you do not wake up, I shalcome to you like a thief, and you wil have no idea at what hour I shal come upon you.
4 Todavia, tens em Sardes algumas pessoas que não contaminaram suas vestes; andarão comigo vestidas de branco, porque o merecem.	4 There are a few in Sardis, it is true, who have kept their robes unstained, and they are fit to come withme, dressed in white.
5 O vencedor será assim revestido de vestes brancas. Jamais apagarei o seu nome do livro da vida, e o proclamarei diante do meu Pai e dos seus anjos.	5 Anyone who proves victorious wil be dressed, like these, in white robes; I shal not blot that name outof the book of life, but acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels.
6 Quem tiver ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas.	6 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."
7 Ao anjo da igreja de Filadélfia, escreve: Eis o que diz o Santo e o Verdadeiro, aquele que tem a chave de Davi - que abre e ninguém pode fechar; que fecha e ninguém pode abrir.	7 'Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia and say, "Here is the message of the holy and true onewho has the key of David, so that when he opens, no one wil close, and when he closes, no one wil open:
8 Conheço as tuas obras: eu pus diante de ti uma porta aberta, que ninguém pode fechar; porque, apesar de tua fraqueza, guardaste a minha palavra e não renegaste o meu nome.	8 I know about your activities. Look, I have opened in front of you a door that no one will be able to close-- and I know that though you are not very strong, you have kept my commandments and not disowned myname.
9 Eu te entrego adeptos da sinagoga de Satanás, desses que se dizem judeus, e não o são, mas mentem. Eis que os farei vir prostrar-se aos teus pés e reconhecerão que eu te amo.	9 Look, I am going to make the synagogue of Satan -- those who falsely claim to be Jews, but are liars,because they are no such thing -- I wil make them come and fal at your feet and recognize that I have lovedyou.
10 Porque guardaste a palavra de minha paciência, também eu te guardarei da hora da provação, que está para sobrevir ao mundo inteiro, para provar os habitantes da terra.	10 Because you have kept my commandment to persevere, I wil keep you safe in the time of trial whichis coming for the whole world, to put the people of the world to the test.
11 Venho em breve. Conserva o que tens, para que ninguém tome a tua coroa.	11 I am coming soon: hold firmly to what you already have, and let no one take your victor's crown awayfrom you.
12 Farei do vencedor uma coluna no templo de meu Deus, de onde jamais sairá, e escreverei sobre ele o nome de meu Deus, e o nome da cidade de meu Deus, a nova Jerusalém, que desce dos céus enviada por meu Deus, assim como o meu nome novo.	12 Anyone who proves victorious I wil make into a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and it wil stay therefor ever; I wil inscribe on it the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which is coming down from my God in heaven, and my own new name as wel .
13 Quem tiver ouvidos, ouça o que o Espírito diz às igrejas.	13 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."
14 Ao anjo da igreja de Laodicéia, escreve: Eis o que diz o Amém, a Testemunha fiel e verdadeira, o Princípio da criação de Deus.	14 'Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea and say, "Here is the message of the Amen, thetrustworthy, the true witness, the Principle of God's creation:
15 Conheço as tuas obras: não és nem frio nem quente. Oxalá fosses frio ou quente!	15 I know about your activities: how you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were one or the other,
16 Mas, como és morno, nem frio nem quente, vou vomitar-te.	16 but since you are neither hot nor cold, but only lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.
17 Pois dizes: Sou rico, faço bons negócios, de nada necessito - e não sabes que és infeliz, miserável, pobre, cego e nu.	17 You say to yourself: I am rich, I have made a fortune and have everything I want, never realising thatyou are wretchedly and pitiably poor, and blind and naked too.
18 Aconselho-te que compres de mim ouro provado ao fogo, para ficares rico; roupas alvas para te vestires, a fim de que não apareça a vergonha de tua nudez; e um colírio para ungir os olhos, de modo que possas ver claro.	18 I warn you, buy from me the gold that has been tested in the fire to make you truly rich, and whiterobes to clothe you and hide your shameful nakedness, and ointment to put on your eyes to enable you to see.
19 Eu repreendo e castigo aqueles que amo. Reanima, pois, o teu zelo e arrepende-te.	19 I reprove and train those whom I love: so repent in real earnest.
20 Eis que estou à porta e bato: se alguém ouvir a minha voz e me abrir a porta, entrarei em sua casa e cearemos, eu com ele e ele comigo.	20 Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears me cal ing and opens the door, I wilcome in to share a meal at that person's side.
21 Ao vencedor concederei assentar-se comigo no meu trono, assim como eu venci e me assentei com meu Pai no seu trono.	21 Anyone who proves victorious I wil al ow to share my throne, just as I have myself overcome andhave taken my seat with my Father on his throne.
