1 Cântico das peregrinações. De Davi. Senhor, meu coração não se enche de orgulho, meu olhar não se levanta arrogante. Não procuro grandezas, nem coisas superiores a mim.	1 A song of ascents. Of David. LORD, my heart is not proud; nor are my eyes haughty. I do not busy myself with great matters, with things too sublime for me.
2 Ao contrário, mantenho em calma e sossego a minha alma, tal como uma criança no seio materno, assim está minha alma em mim mesmo.	2 Rather, I have stilled my soul, hushed it like a weaned child. Like a weaned child on its mother's lap, so is my soul within me.
3 Israel, põe tua esperança no Senhor, agora e para sempre.	3 Israel, hope in the LORD, now and forever.
