1 Il Signore regna! Tremino i popoli; siede sui cherubini: si scuota la terra.	1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
2 Grande è il Signore in Sion, eccelso sopra tutti i popoli.	2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
3 Celebrino il tuo nome, grande e terribile: Santo egli è!	3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.
4 Regna da prode, amante del diritto. Tu hai stabilito ciò ch'è retto; tu solo hai creato in Giacobbe diritto e giustizia.	4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
5 Esaltate il Signore nostro Dio, prostratevi allo sgabello dei suoi piedi: Santo egli è!	5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
6 Mosè, Aronne, fra i suoi sacerdoti, Samuele, fra quanti invocavano il tuo nome, invocavano il Signore ed egli li esaudiva.	6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
7 Parlava con loro da una colonna di nubi; essi custodivano i suoi statuti e la legge che aveva loro consegnata.	7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.
8 Signore nostro Dio, tu li esaudivi. Un Dio indulgente eri per loro, pur castigando i loro misfatti.	8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
9 Esaltate il Signore nostro Dio, prostratevi al suo monte santo. Poiché Santo è il Signore nostro Dio!	9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
