1 Canto delle ascensioni. Di Davide. Signore, non s'inorgoglisce il mio cuore, non sono boriosi i miei occhi, non mi muovo fra cose troppo grandi, superiori alle mie forze.	1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 Anzi, tengo serena e tranquilla l'anima mia. Come un bimbo svezzato in braccio a sua madre, come un bimbo svezzato è l'anima mia.	2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3 Attendi, Israele, il Signore; ora e sempre!	3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
