Philippians 3

1 Concerning other things, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. It is certainly not tiresome for me to write the same things to you, but for you, it is not necessary.	1 Το λοιπον, αδελφοι μου, χαιρετε εν Κυριω. το να σας γραφω τα αυτα εις εμε μεν δεν ειναι οχληρον, εις εσας δε ασφαλες.
2 Beware of dogs; beware of those who work evil; beware of those who are divisive.	2 Προσεχετε τους κυνας, προσεχετε τους κακους εργατας, προσεχετε την κατατομην?
3 For we are the circumcised, we who serve God in the Spirit and who glory in Christ Jesus, having no confidence in the flesh.	3 διοτι ημεις ειμεθα η περιτομη, οι λατρευοντες τον Θεον εν Πνευματι και καυχωμενοι εις τον Χριστον Ιησουν και μη εχοντες την πεποιθησιν εν τη σαρκι,
4 Nevertheless, I might have confidence also in the flesh, for if anyone else seems to have confidence in the flesh, more so do I.	4 αν και εγω εχω πεποιθησιν και εν τη σαρκι. Εαν τις αλλος νομιζη οτι εχει πεποιθησιν εν τη σαρκι, εγω περισσοτερον?
5 For I was circumcised on the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, from the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew among Hebrews. According to the law, I was a Pharisee;	5 περιτετμημενος την ογδοην ημεραν, εκ γενους Ισραηλ, εκ φυλης Βενιαμιν, Εβραιος εξ Εβραιων, κατα νομον Φαρισαιος,
6 according to zeal, I persecuted the Church of God; according to the justice that is in the law, I lived without blame.	6 κατα ζηλον διωκτης της εκκλησιας, κατα την δικαιοσυνην την δια του νομου διατελεσας αμεμπτος.
7 But the things which had been to my gain, the same have I considered a loss, for the sake of Christ.	7 Πλην εκεινα, τα οποια ησαν εις εμε κερδη, ταυτα ενομισα ζημιαν δια τον Χριστον?
8 Yet truly, I consider everything to be a loss, because of the preeminent knowledge of Jesus Christ, my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of everything, considering it all to be like dung, so that I may gain Christ,	8 μαλιστα δε και νομιζω τα παντα οτι ειναι ζημια δια το εξοχον της γνωσεως του Ιησου Χριστου του Κυριου μου, δια τον οποιον εζημιωθην τα παντα, και λογιζομαι οτι ειναι σκυβαλα δια να κερδησω τον Χριστον
9 and so that you may be found in him, not having my justice, which is of the law, but that which is of the faith of Christ Jesus, the justice within faith, which is of God.	9 και να ευρεθω εν αυτω μη εχων ιδικην μου δικαιοσυνην την εκ του νομου, αλλα την δια πιστεως του Χριστου, την δικαιοσυνην την εκ Θεου δια της πιστεως,
10 So shall I know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his Passion, having been fashioned according to his death,	10 δια να γνωρισω αυτον και την δυναμιν της αναστασεως αυτου και την κοινωνιαν των παθηματων αυτου, συμμορφουμενος με τον θανατον αυτου,
11 if, by some means, I might attain to the resurrection which is from the dead.	11 ισως καταντησω εις την εξαναστασιν των νεκρων.
12 It is not as though I have already received this, or were already perfect. But rather I pursue, so that by some means I might attain, that in which I have already been attained by Christ Jesus.	12 Ουχι οτι ελαβον ηδη το βραβειον η εγεινα ηδη τελειος, τρεχω ομως κατοπιν, ισως λαβω αυτο, δια το οποιον και εληφθην υπο του Ιησου Χριστου.
13 Brothers, I do not consider that I have already attained this. Instead, I do one thing: forgetting those things that are behind, and extending myself toward those things that are ahead,	13 Αδελφοι, εγω δεν στοχαζομαι εμαυτον οτι ελαβον αυτο? αλλ' εν πραττω? τα μεν οπισω λησμονων, εις δε τα εμπροσθεν επεκτεινομενος,
14 I pursue the destination, the prize of the heavenly calling of God in Christ Jesus.	14 τρεχω προς τον σκοπον δια το βραβειον της ανω κλησεως του Θεου εν Χριστω Ιησου.
15 Therefore, as many of us as are being perfected, let us agree about this. And if in anything you disagree, God will reveal this to you also.	15 Οσοι λοιπον ειμεθα τελειοι, τουτο ας φρονωμεν? και εαν φρονητε τι αλλως πως, και τουτο θελει αποκαλυψει εις εσας ο Θεος.
16 Yet truly, whatever point we reach, let us be of the same mind, and let us remain in the same rule.	16 Πλην εις εκεινο, εις το οποιον εφθασαμεν, ας περιπατωμεν κατα τον αυτον κανονα, ας φρονωμεν το αυτο.
17 Be imitators of me, brothers, and observe those who are walking similarly, just as you have seen by our example.	17 Αδελφοι, συμμιμηται μου γινεσθε και παρατηρειτε τους οσοι περιπατουσιν ουτω, καθως εχετε τυπον ημας.
18 For many persons, about whom I have often told you (and now tell you, weeping,) are walking as enemies of the cross of Christ.	18 Διοτι περιπατουσι πολλοι, τους οποιους σας ελεγον πολλακις, τωρα δε και κλαιων λεγω, οτι ειναι οι εχθροι του σταυρου του Χριστου,
19 Their end is destruction; their god is their belly; and their glory is in their shame: for they are immersed in earthly things.	19 των οποιων το τελος ειναι απωλεια, των οποιων ο Θεος ειναι η κοιλια, και η δοξα αυτων ειναι εν τη αισχυνη αυτων, οιτινες φρονουσι τα επιγεια.
20 But our way of life is in heaven. And from heaven, too, we await the Savior, our Lord Jesus Christ,	20 Διοτι το πολιτευμα ημων ειναι εν ουρανοις, οποθεν και προσμενομεν Σωτηρα τον Κυριον Ιησουν Χριστον,
21 who will transform the body of our lowliness, according to the form of the body of his glory, by means of that power by which he is even able to subject all things to himself.	21 οστις θελει μετασχηματισει το σωμα της ταπεινωσεως ημων, ωστε να γεινη συμμορφον με το σωμα της δοξης αυτου κατα την ενεργειαν, δια της οποιας δυναται και να υποταξη τα παντα εις εαυτον.
