2 And he said: The Lord will roar from Zion, and from Jerusalem he will utter his voice. And the beautiful pastures have mourned, and the top of Carmel has become dry.	2 E disse: « Il Signore ruggirà da Sion, da Gerusalemme farà sentire la sua voce: e saranno in lutto le più belle pasture e sarà secca la sommità del Carmelo.
3 Thus says the Lord: For three wicked deeds of Damascus, and for four, I will not convert it, in so far as they have threshed Gilead into iron wagons.	3 Così parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre scelleraggini di Damasco, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò, (il decreto), perchè essi han tribbiato Galaad sotto i carri di ferro.
4 And I will send fire onto the house of Hazael, and it will devour the houses of Ben-hadad.	4 Ma io metterò il fuoco alla casa di Azael e (il fuoco) divorerà le case di Benadad.
5 And I will shatter the crowbar of Damascus, and I will destroy the inhabitants of the camp of the idol and the holder of the scepter of the house of pleasure; and the people of Syria will be transferred to Cyrene, says the Lord.	5 Io spezzerò le sbarre di Damasco, sterminerò gli abitanti della campagna dell'idolo e, dalla casa della voluttà chi tiene lo scettro della Siria sarà deportato a Cirene, dice il Signore ».
6 Thus says the Lord: For three wicked deeds of Gaza, and for four, I will not convert it, in so far as they have carried out an excellent captivity, so as to enclose them in Idumea.	6 Cosi parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre sceleraggini di Gaza, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè han condotta schiava tutta la gente, per rinchiuderla nell'Idumea.
7 And I will send a fire onto the wall of Gaza, and it will devour its buildings.	7 La io metterò il fuoco nelle mura di Gaza, e (il fuoco) ridurrà in cenete i suoi palazzi.
8 And I will destroy the inhabitant from Ashdod, and the holder of the scepter of Ashkelon. And I will turn my hand against Ekron, and the remainder of the Philistines will perish, says the Lord God.	8 E sterminerò gli abitanti d'Azoto, e da Ascalona chi tiene lo scettro, e moverò la mia mano contro Accaron, e periranno gli avanzi dei Filistei, dice il Signore ».
9 Thus says the Lord: For three wicked deeds of Tyre, and for four, I will not convert it, in so far as they have completed an excellent captivity in Idumea and have not considered the bond among brothers.	9 Così parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre scel.eraggini di Tiro, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè tuttala gente fatta schiava l'hanno rinchiusa in Idumea, e non si son ricordati dell'alleanza dei fratelli.
10 And I will send a fire onto the wall of Tyre, and it will devour its buildings.	10 Contro le mura di Tiro io manderò il fuoco che divorerà i suoi palazzi ».
11 Thus says the Lord: For three wicked deeds of Edom, and for four, I will not convert him, in so far as he has been pursuing his brother with the sword and has outraged his brother’s compassion, and he has gone beyond his anger and has held onto his indignation until the end.	11 Così parla il Signore: « A causa delle tre scelleraggini di Edom, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè egli hà perseguitato colla spada il suo fratello, non ha avuta verso di lui la dovuta compassione, ha tenuto oltre i limiti il suo furore, ed ha conservata fino alla fine la sua indignazione.
12 I will send a fire onto Teman, and it will devour the buildings of Bozrah.	12 Io manderò il fuoco in Teman, e ridurrà in cenere i palazzi di Bosra ».
13 Thus says the Lord: For three wicked deeds of the sons of Ammon, and for four, I will not convert him, in so far as he has cut up the pregnant women of Gilead, so as to expand his limits.	13 Cosi parla il Signore: «A causa delle tre scelleraggini dei figli di Ammon, anzi delle quattro, non lo revocherò (il decreto), perchè essi hanno sventrato le donne incinte di Galaad, per allargare i loro confini.
14 And I will ignite a fire on the wall of Rabbah. And it will devour its buildings, with wailing on the day of war, and with a whirlwind on the day of commotion.	14 E metterò il fuoco nelle mura di Rabba, e (il fuoco) divorerà i suoi palazzi, tra gli urli nel giorno della battaglia, in mezzo al turbine nel giorno dello sconvolgimento.
15 And Melchom will go into captivity, he and his leaders together, says the Lord.	15 E Melcom andrà in schiavitù, egli e i suoi principi con lui — dice il Signore ».
