Psalms 25

1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. Judge me, Lord, for I have been walking in my innocence, and by hoping in the Lord, I will not be weakened.	1 De David. [Alef] A ti, Señor, elevo mi alma,
2 Examine me, Lord, and test me: enkindle my temperament and my heart.	2 [Bet] Dios mío, yo pongo en ti mi confianza; ¡que no tenga que avergonzarme ni se rían de mí mis enemigos!
3 For your mercy is before my eyes, and I am serene in your truth.	3 [Guímel] Ninguno de los que esperan en ti tendrá que avergonzarse: se avergonzarán los que traicionan en vano.
4 I have not sat with the council of emptiness, and I will not enter with those who carry out injustice.	4 [Dálet] Muéstrame, Señor, tus caminos, enséñame tus senderos.
5 I have hated the assembly of the malicious; and I will not sit with the impious.	5 [He] Guíame por el camino de tu fidelidad; enséñame, porque tú eres mi Dios y mi salvador, [Vau]. y yo espero en ti todo el día.
6 I will wash my hands among the innocent, and I will surround your altar, O Lord,	6 [Zain] Acuérdate, Señor, de tu compasión y de tu amor, porque son eternos.
7 so that I may hear the voice of your praise and describe all your wonders.	7 [Jet] No recuerdes los pecados ni las rebeldías de mi juventud: por tu bondad, Señor, acuérdate de mi según tu fidelidad.
8 O Lord, I have loved the beauty of your house and the dwelling place of your glory.	8 [Tet] El Señor es bondadoso y recto: por eso muestra el camino a los extraviados;
9 O God, do not let my soul perish with the impious, nor my life with the men of blood,	9 [Iod] él guía a los humildes para que obren rectamente y enseña su camino a los pobres.
10 in whose hands are iniquities: their right hand has been filled by bribes.	10 [Caf] Todos los senderos del Señor son amor y fidelidad, para los que observan los preceptos de su alianza.
11 But as for me, I have been walking in my innocence. Redeem me, and have mercy on me.	11 [Lámed] ¡Por el honor de tu Nombre, Señor, perdona mi culpa, aunque es muy grande!
12 My foot has stood firm in the straight path. In the churches, I will bless you, O Lord.	12 [Mem] ¿Hay alguien que teme al Señor? El le indicará el camino que debe elegir:
	13 [Nun] su alma descansará feliz y su descendencia poseerá la tierra.
	14 [Sámec] El Señor da su amistad a los que lo temen y les hace conocer su alianza.
	15 [Ain] Mis ojos están siempre fijos en el Señor, porque él sacará mis pies de la trampa.
	16 [Pe] Mírame, Señor, y ten piedad de mí, porque estoy solo y afligido:
	17 [Sade] alivia las angustias de mi corazón, y sácame de mis tribulaciones.
	18 [Qof] Mira mi aflicción y mis fatigas, y perdona todos mis pecados.
	19 [Res] Mira qué numerosos son mis enemigos y qué violento es el odio que me tienen.
	20 [Sin] Defiende mi vida y líbrame: que no me avergüence de haber confiado en ti;
	21 [Tau] la integridad y la rectitud me protegen, porque yo espero en ti, Señor.
	22 Salva, Dios mío, a Israel de todas sus angustias.
