Psalms 146

CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN	LXX
1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord, because the psalm is good. Delightful and beautiful praise shall be for our God.	1 αλληλουια αγγαιου και ζαχαριου αινειτε τον κυριον οτι αγαθον ψαλμος τω θεω ημων ηδυνθειη αινεσις
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem. He will gather together the dispersed of Israel.	2 οικοδομων ιερουσαλημ ο κυριος και τας διασπορας του ισραηλ επισυναξει
3 He heals the contrite of heart, and he binds up their sorrows.	3 ο ιωμενος τους συντετριμμενους την καρδιαν και δεσμευων τα συντριμματα αυτων
4 He numbers the multitude of the stars, and he calls them all by their names.	4 ο αριθμων πληθη αστρων και πασιν αυτοις ονοματα καλων
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his virtue. And of his wisdom, there is no number.	5 μεγας ο κυριος ημων και μεγαλη η ισχυς αυτου και της συνεσεως αυτου ουκ εστιν αριθμος
6 The Lord lifts up the meek, but he brings down the sinner, even to the ground.	6 αναλαμβανων πραεις ο κυριος ταπεινων δε αμαρτωλους εως της γης
7 Sing before the Lord with confession. Play psalms to our God on a stringed instrument.	7 εξαρξατε τω κυριω εν εξομολογησει ψαλατε τω θεω ημων εν κιθαρα
8 He covers heaven with clouds, and he prepares rain for the earth. He produces grass on the mountains and herbs for the service of men.	8 τω περιβαλλοντι τον ουρανον εν νεφελαις τω ετοιμαζοντι τη γη υετον τω εξανατελλοντι εν ορεσι χορτον και χλοην τη δουλεια των ανθρωπων
9 He gives their food to beasts of burden and to young ravens that call upon him.	9 διδοντι τοις κτηνεσι τροφην αυτων και τοις νεοσσοις των κορακων τοις επικαλουμενοις αυτον
10 He will not have good will for the strength of the horse, nor will he be well pleased with the legs of a man.	10 ουκ εν τη δυναστεια του ιππου θελησει ουδε εν ταις κνημαις του ανδρος ευδοκει
11 The Lord is well pleased with those who fear him and with those who hope in his mercy.	11 ευδοκει κυριος εν τοις φοβουμενοις αυτον και εν τοις ελπιζουσιν επι το ελεος αυτου
