1 Alleluia. ALEPH. Blessed are the immaculate in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.	1 Alleluia. Lodate Dio. ALEPH. Beati quelli, che nella via del Signore son senza macchia, che nella legge del Signore camminano.
2 Blessed are those who examine his testimonies. They seek him with their whole heart.	2 Beati quelli, che le testimonianze di lui investigano: lui cercano con tutto il cuore.
3 For those who work iniquity have not walked in his ways.	3 Imperocché quei, che operan l'iniquità nelle vie di lui non camminano.
4 You have ordered your commandments to be kept most diligently.	4 Tu hai comandato, che i tuoi comandamenti sian custoditi con grande esattezza.
5 I wish that my ways may be directed so as to keep your justifications.	5 Piaccia a te, che siano indiritti i miei passi all'osservanza di tue giustificazioni.
6 Then I will not be confounded, when I will look into all your commandments.	6 Allora io non sarò confuso quando sarò stato intento a tatti i tuoi precetti.
7 I will confess to you with honesty of heart. In this way, I have learned the judgments of your justice.	7 Con cuor sincero a te darò lande dell'aver io imparati i giudizj di tua giustizia.
8 I will keep your justifications. Do not utterly abandon me.	8 Custodirò le tue giustificazioni; non abbandonarmi fino all'estremo.
9 BETH. By what does an adolescent correct his way? By keeping to your words.	9 BETH. Per qual maniera corregge il giovinetto le sue inclinazioni? in osservando le tue parole.
10 With my whole heart, I have sought you. Do not let me be driven away from your commandments.	10 Te io ho cercato con tutto il cuor mio: non permettere, ch'io declini da' tuoi comandamenti.
11 I have hidden your eloquence in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.	11 Nel cuor mio riposi le tue parole: per non peccare contro di te.
12 Blessed are you, O Lord. Teach me your justifications.	12 Benedetto se' tu, o Signore: insegna a me le tue giustificazioni.
13 With my lips, I have pronounced all the judgments of your mouth.	13 Colle mie labbra ho annunziati tutti i giudizj della tua bocca.
14 I have been delighted in the way of your testimonies, as if in all riches.	14 Nella via de' tuoi precetti ho trovato diletto, come in tutti i tesori.
15 I will be trained in your commandments, and I will consider your ways.	15 Mi eserciterò ne' tuoi comandamenti, e considererò le tue vie.
16 I will meditate on your justifications. I will not forget your words.	16 Mediterò le tue giustificazioni: i tuoi parlari non porrò in obblivione.
17 GHIMEL. Repay your servant, revive me; and I will keep your words.	17 GIMEL. Fa mercede al tuo servo: dammi vita, e osservi io le tue parole.
18 Reveal to my eyes, and I will consider the wonders of your law.	18 Togli il velo a' miei occhi, e considererò le meraviglie della tua legge.
19 I am a sojourner on the earth. Do not hide your commandments from me.	19 Pellegrino sono io sopra la terra: non celare a me i tuoi precetti.
20 My soul has longed to desire your justifications at all times.	20 L'anima mia bramò di desiderare le tue giustificazioni in ogni tempo.
21 You have rebuked the arrogant. Those who decline from your commandments are accursed.	21 Facesti minaccia a' superbi: maledetti quei, che declinano da' tuoi precetti.
22 Take me away from disgrace and contempt, for I have sought your testimonies.	22 Toglimi all'obbrobrio, e al disprezzo perché le tue giustificazioui ho cercato con ansietà.
23 For even the leaders sat and spoke against me. But your servant has been trained in your justifications.	23 Imperocché si mettevano a sedere i principi, e parlavan contro di me: ma il tuo servo si esercitava nelle tue giustificazioni.
24 For your testimonies are also my meditation, and your justifications are my counsel.	24 Imperocché e i tuoi comandamenti sono la mia meditazione, e le tue giustificazioni sono i miei consiglieri.
25 DALETH. My soul has adhered to the pavement. Revive me according to your word.	25 DALETH. L'anima mia al suolo è distesa: dammi vita secondo la tua parola.
26 I have declared my ways, and you have heeded me. Teach me your justifications.	26 Esposi (a te) le mie vie, e tu mi esaudisti: insegna a me le tue giustificazioni.
27 Instruct me in the way of your justifications, and I will be trained in your wonders.	27 La via dimostrami de' tuoi comandamenti, e contemplerò le tue meraviglie.
28 My soul has slumbered because of weariness. Confirm me in your words.	28 Assonnò vinta dal tedio l'anima mia: colle tue parole dammi vigore.
29 Remove the way of iniquity from me, and have mercy on me by your law.	29 Rimuovi da me la via dell'iniquità, e fammi misericordia, perch' io adempia tua legge.
30 I have chosen the way of truth. I have not forgotten your judgments.	30 Elessi la via della verità: non mi sono scordato de' tuoi giudizj.
31 I have adhered to your testimonies, O Lord. Do not be willing to confound me.	31 Mi appoggiai a' tuoi insegnamenti: Signore, non voler ch'io resti confuso.
32 I have run by way of your commandments, when you enlarged my heart.	32 Corsi la via de' tuoi comandamenti quando tu dilatasti il cuor mio.
33 HE. O Lord, place the law before me, the way of your justifications, and I will always inquire into it.	33 HE. Dammi per norma, o Signore, la via di tue giustificazioni, e io sempre la seguirò.
34 Give me understanding, and I will examine your law. And I will keep it with my whole heart.	34 Dammi intelletto, e io attentamente studierò la tua legge, e la osserverò con tatto il cuor mio.
35 Lead me according to the path of your commandments, for I have desired this.	35 Conducimi tu pel sentiero de' tuoi precetti: perché desso mi piacque.
36 Bend my heart with your testimonies, and not with avarice.	36 Inclina il cuor mio verso di tue testimonianze, e non verso l'amore delle ricchezze.
37 Turn my eyes away, lest they see what is vain. Revive me in your way.	37 Rivolgi gli occhi miei, perché non veggan la vanità: nella tua via dammi vita.
38 Station your eloquence with your servant, along with your fear.	38 Tien fissa nel tuo servo la tua parola, mediante il tuo timore.
39 Cut off my disgrace, which I have taken up, for your judgments are delightful.	39 Togli da me l'obbrobrio, ch'io lui temuto: perocché amabili son i tuoi giudizj.
40 Behold, I have longed for your commandments. Revive me in your fairness.	40 Ecco, ch'io ho amati i tuoi comandamenti: fammi vivere secondo la tua equità.
41 VAU. And let your mercy overwhelm me, O Lord: your salvation according to your eloquence.	41 VAU. E venga sopra di me, o Signore, la tua misericordia: la tua salute secondo la tua parola.
42 And I will respond to those who reproach me by word, for I have hoped in your words.	42 E darò per risposta a quelli, che mio dileggiano, che nelle tue parole ho posta la mia speranza.
43 And do not utterly take away the word of truth from my mouth. For in your judgments, I have hoped beyond hope.	43 E non togliere tu giammai dalla mia bocca la parola di verità; perché ne' tuoi giudizj ho fortemente sperato.
44 And I will always keep your law, in this age and forever and ever.	44 E osserverò mai sempre la tua legge pe' secoli, e pe' secoli de' secoli.
45 And I have wandered far and wide, because I was seeking your commandments.	45 E io camminava al largo, perché cercai studiosamente i tuoi comandamenti.
46 And I spoke of your testimonies in the sight of kings, and I was not confounded.	46 E di tue testimonianze parlava al cospetto dei re; e non ne aveva rossore.
47 And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved.	47 E meditava i tuoi precetti: che io ho amati.
48 And I lifted up my hands to your commandments, which I loved. And I was trained in your justifications.	48 E stesi le mani mie a' tuoi comandamenti amati da me: e nelle tue giustificazioni mi esercitava.
49 ZAIN. Be mindful of your word to your servant, by which you have given me hope.	49 ZAIN. Ricordati di tua parola in favor del tuo servo: nella quale mi desti speranza.
50 This has consoled me in my humiliation, for your word has revived me.	50 Questo nella mia umiliazione fu il mio conforto, che la tua parola mi diede vita.
51 The arrogant act altogether iniquitously, but I have not turned aside from your law.	51 I superbi agivano sempre iniquamente: ma io non ho declinato dalla tua legge.
52 I called to mind your judgments of antiquity, O Lord, and I was consoled.	52 Mi ricordai de' giudizj tuoi, o Signore, che son eterni: e fui consolato.
53 Faintness has taken hold of me, because of the sinners, those who abandon your law.	53 Mancommi il cuore per cagione de' peccatori, che abbandonano la tua legge.
54 Your justifications were the subject of my worthy singing, in the place of my pilgrimage.	54 Miei cantici erano le tue giustificazioni nel luogo del mio pellegrinaggio.
55 During the night, I remembered your name, O Lord, and I kept your law.	55 Del nome tuo mi ricordai nella notte, o Signore, e osservai la tua legge.
56 This has happened to me because I sought your justifications.	56 Questo avvenne a me, perché cercai ansiosamente le tue giustificazioni.

58 I have beseeched your face with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.	58 Ho domandato con tutto il cuor mio il tuo favore: abbi pietà di me secondo la tua parola.
59 I have considered my ways, and I have turned my feet toward your testimonies.	59 Ho disaminati i miei andamenti, e ho indiritti i miei passi a seconda de' tuoi comandamenti.
60 I have been prepared, and I have not been disturbed, so that I may keep your commandments.	60 Preparato son io (e nulla mi tratterrà) ad osservare i tuoi comandamenti.
61 The ropes of the impious have encircled me, and I have not forgotten your law.	61 Mi cinsero d'ogni parte i lacci de' peccatori, ed io non mi scordai della tua legge.
62 I arose in the middle of the night to confess to you, over the judgments of your justification.	62 Di mezza notte mi alzava a lodarti per ragione de' giudizj di tua giustizia.
63 I am a partaker with all those who fear you and who keep your commandments.	63 Io ho società con tutti quei, che ti temono, e osservano i tuoi comandamenti.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy. Teach me your justifications.	64 Di tua misericordia, o Signore, è piena la terra: insegnami tu le tue giustificazioni.
65 TETH. You have done well with your servant, O Lord, according to your word.	65 TETH. Tu con bontà, o Signore, hai trattato il tuo servo, secondo la tua parola.
66 Teach me goodness and discipline and knowledge, for I have trusted your commandments.	66 Insegnami la bontà, e la disciplina, e la scienza: perché io ne' comandamenti tuoi ebbi fede.
67 Before I was humbled, I committed offenses; because of this, I have kept to your word.	67 Prima ch'io fossi umiliato io peccai: per questo ho custodita la tua parola.
68 You are good, so in your goodness teach me your justifications.	68 Buono se' tu, e secondo la tua bontà, insegnami tu le tue giustificazioni.
69 The iniquity of the arrogant has been multiplied over me. Yet I will examine your commandments with all my heart.	69 E cresciuta l'iniquità de' superbi contro di me: ma io con tutto il cuor mio studierò i tuoi precetti.
70 Their heart has been curdled like milk. Truly, I have meditated on your law.	70 Il loro cuore, come latte è acquagliato: ma io meditai la tua legge.
71 It is good for me that you humbled me, so that I may learn your justifications.	71 Bona cosa per me l'avermi tu umiliato: affinchè io impari le tue giustificazioni.
72 The law of your mouth is good for me, beyond thousands of gold and silver pieces.	72 Buona cosa per me la legge della tua bocca più che l'oro, e l'argento a migliaia.
73 IOD. Your hands have created me and formed me. Give me understanding, and I will learn your commandments.	73 JOD. Le tue mani mi fecero, e mi formarono: dammi intelletto, e imparerò i tuoi comandamenti.
74 Those who fear you will see me, and they will rejoice. For I have greatly hoped in your words.	74 Mi vedranno color, che ti temono, ed avranno allegrezza: perché io nelle tue parole sperai grandemente.
75 I know, O Lord, that your judgments are fairness. And in your truth, you have humbled me.	75 Ho conosciuto, o Signore, che i giudizj tuoi sono equità; e che secondo la tua verità tu mi hai umiliato.
76 Let it be your mercy that consoles me, according to your eloquence to your servant.	76 Venga la misericordia tua a consolarmi: secondo la parola data da te al tuo servo.
77 Let your compassion draw near to me, and I will live. For your law is my meditation.	77 Vengano a me le tue misericordie, e io avrò vita: perocché mia meditazione ell'è la tua legge.
78 Let the arrogant be confounded, for unjustly they have done iniquity to me. But I will be trained in your commandments.	78 Siano confusi i superbi, perché ingiustamente hanno macchinato cose inique contro di me: ma io mi eserciterò ne' tuoi comandamenti.
79 Let those who fear you turn to me, along with those who know your testimonies.	79 Si rivolgano a me quei, che ti temono, e quei, che intendono i tuoi insegnamenti.
80 Let my heart be immaculate in your justifications, so that I may not be confounded.	80 Sia immacolato nelle tue giustificazioni il cuor mio, affinchè io non resti confuso.
81 CAPH. My soul has faltered in your salvation, yet in your word, I have hoped beyond hope.	81 CAPH. Languisce l'anima mia per la brama della salute, che vien da te: ma nella tua parola ho riposta la mia speranza.
82 My eyes have failed in your eloquence, saying, “When will you console me?”	82 Si sono stancati gli occhi miei nell'espettazione di tua promessa, dicendo: quando sia, che tu mi consoli?
83 For I have become like a wineskin in the frost. I have not forgotten your justifications.	83 Sebbene io son divenuto qual otre alla brinata; non mi son però scordato delle tue giustificazioni.
84 How many are the days of your servant? When will you bring judgment against those who persecute me?	84 Quanti sono i dì del tuo servo? quando farai tu giudizio di quelli, che mi perseguitano?
85 The iniquitous have spoken fables to me. But these are unlike your law.	85 Gli iniqui mi raccontarono delle favole: ma non son elleno qual è la tua legge.
86 All your commandments are truth. They have been persecuting me unjustly: assist me.	86 Tutti i tuoi precetti son verità: iniquamente mi hanno perseguitato: tu dammi aiuto.
87 They have nearly consumed me on earth. Yet I have not forsaken your commandments.	87 Quasi quasi mi hanno consunto sopra la terra: ma io non ho abbandonati i tuoi insegnamenti.
88 Revive me according to your mercy. And I will keep the testimonies of your mouth.	88 Per la tua misericordia dammi vita, e osserverò i comandamenti della tua bocca.
89 LAMED. O Lord, your word remains firm in heaven, for all eternity.	89 LAMED. Stabile in eterno ell'è, o Signore, la tua parola nel cielo.
90 Your truth is from generation to generation. You have founded the earth, and it remains firm.	90 La tua verità per tutte le generazioni: tu fondasti la terra, ed ella sussiste.
91 By your ordinance, the day perseveres. For all things are in service to you.	91 In virtù del tuo comando continua il giorno: perocché le cose tutte a te ubbidiscono.
92 If your law had not been my meditation, then perhaps I would have perished in my humiliation.	92 Se mia meditazione non fosse stata la tua legge, allora forse nella mia afflizione sarei perito.
93 I will not forget your justifications, for eternity. For by them, you have enlivened me.	93 Non mi scorderò in eterno delle tue giustificazioni, perché per esse mi desti vita.
94 I am yours. Accomplish my salvation. For I have inquired into your justifications.	94 Tuo son io, salvami tu: perocché avidamente ho cercato le tue giustificazioni.
95 The sinners have waited for me, in order to destroy me. I have understood your testimonies.	95 Mi preser di mira i peccatori per ruinarmi: mi studiai di intendere i tuoi insegnamenti.
96 I have seen the end of the consummation of all things. Your commandment is exceedingly broad.	96 Vidi il termine di ogni cosa perfetta: oltre ogni termine si estende il tuo comandamento.
97 MEM. How have I loved your law, O Lord? It is my meditation all day long.	97 MEM. Quanto cara è a me la tua legge, o Signore! Ella è tutto quanto il giorno la mia meditazione.
98 By your commandment, you have made me able to see far, beyond my enemies. For it is with me for eternity.	98 Col tuo comandamento mi facesti prudente più de' miei nemici: perché io lo ho davanti in eterno.
99 I have understood beyond all my teachers. For your testimonies are my meditation.	99 Ho capito più io, che tutti quelli, che mi istruivano: perché i tuoi comandamenti sono la mia meditazione.
100 I have understood beyond the elders. For I have searched your commandments.	100 Ho capito più che gli anziani, perché sono andato investigando i tuoi comandamenti.
101 I have prohibited my feet from every evil way, so that I may keep your words.	101 Da ogni cattiva strada tenni in dietro i miei passi per osservare i tuoi precetti.
102 I have not declined from your judgments, because you have stationed a law for me.	102 Non declinai da' tuoi giudizj, perché tu mi hai data una legge.
103 How sweet is your eloquence to my palate, more so than honey to my mouth!	103 Quanto son dolci alle mie fauci le tue parole! più che non è il miele alla mia bocca.
104 I obtained understanding by your commandments. Because of this, I have hated every way of iniquity.	104 Da' tuoi comandamenti feci acquisto di scienza: per questo ho in odio qualunque via d'iniquità.
105 NUN. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my paths.	105 NUN. Lucerna a' miei passi ell'è la tua parola, e luce a' miei sentieri.
106 I have sworn it, and so I am determined to keep the judgments of your justice.	106 Giurai, e determinai di osservare i giudizj di tua giustizia.
107 I have been altogether humbled, Lord. Revive me according to your word.	107 Io son umiliato per ogni parte, o Signore: dammi vita secondo la tua parola.
108 Make the willing offerings of my mouth well pleasing, Lord, and teach me your judgments.	108 Sian graditi a te, o Signore, i volontarj sagrifizj della mia bocca: e insegnami i tuoi giudizj.
109 My soul is always in my hands, and I have not forgotten your law.	109 Porto sempre l'anima mia nelle mie mani: e non mi sono scordato della tua legge.
110 Sinners have set a snare for me, yet I have not strayed from your commandments.	110 I peccatori mi tesero il laccio: ma io non uscii della strada de' tuoi precetti.
111 I have acquired your testimonies as an inheritance unto eternity, because they are the exultation of my heart.	111 Per mia eterna eredità feci acquisto de' tuoi insegnamenti: perché, essi sono il gaudio del cuor mio.
112 I have inclined my heart to do your justifications for eternity, as a recompense.	112 Inchinai il mio cuore ad eseguire eternamente le tue giustificazioni per amore della retribuzione.
113 SAMECH. I have hated the iniquitous, and I have loved your law.	113 SAMECH. Ho odiato gli iniqui, ed ho amata la tua legge.
114 You are my helper and my supporter. And in your word, I have greatly hoped.	114 Tu se' mio aiuto, e mia difesa: e nella tua parola ho grandemente sperato.
115 Turn away from me, you malignant ones. And I will examine the commandments of my God.	115 Ritiratevi da me voi maligni: e io studierò attentamente i comandamenti del mio Dio.
116 Uphold me according to your eloquence, and I will live. And let me not be confounded in my expectation.	116 Sostentami secondo la tua parola, e fa ch'io viva; e non permettere, che nella mia espettazione io resti deluso.
117 Help me, and I will be saved. And I will meditate always on your justifications.	117 Aiutami, e sarò salvo, e mediterò sempre le tue giustificazioni.
118 You have despised all those who fell away from your judgments. For their intention is unjust.	118 Tu hai disprezzati tutti coloro, che declinano da' tuoi gindizj: perché ingiusto è il loro pensiero.
119 I have considered all the sinners of the earth to be transgressors. Therefore, I have loved your testimonies.	119 Prevaricatori riputai tutti i peccatori della terra: perché amai i tuoi insegnamenti.
120 Pierce my flesh with your fear, for I am afraid of your judgments.	120 Inchioda col tue timore le carni mie: perocché ho temuti i tuoi giudizi.
121 AIN. I have accomplished judgment and justice. Do not hand me over to those who slander me.	121 AIN. Ho esercitata la rettitudine, e la giustizia: non darmi in potere de' miei calunniatori.
122 Uphold your servant in what is good. And do not allow the arrogant to slander me.	122 Aiuta al bene il tuo servo: non mi opprimano colle calunnie i superbi.
123 My eyes have failed in your salvation and in the eloquence of your justice.	123 Gli occhi miei si sono stancati nella espettazione della tua salute, e delle parole di tua giustizia.
124 Deal with your servant according to your mercy, and teach me your justifications.	124 Tratta il tuo servo secondo la tua misericordia, e insegnami le tue giustificazioni.
125 I am your servant. Give me understanding, so that I may know your testimonies.	125 Tuo servo son io: dammi intelletto, affinchè intenda i tuoi precetti.
126 It is time to act, O Lord. They have dissipated your law.	126 Egli è tempo di operare, o Signore: eglino han rovinata la tua legge.
127 Therefore, I have loved your commandments beyond gold and topaz.	127 Per questo io ho amati i tuoi comandamenti più che l'oro, e i topazi.
128 Because of this, I was directed toward all your commandments. I held hatred for every iniquitous way.	128 Per questo io mi incamminai all'osservanza di tutti i tuoi comandamenti, ed ebbi in odio tutte le vie d'iniquità.
129 PHE. Your testimonies are wonderful. Therefore, my soul has been examined by them.	129 PHE. Mirabil cosa ell'è In tua legge: per questo ne ha fatto diligente studio l'anima mia.
130 The declaration of your words illuminates, and it gives understanding to little ones.	130 La sposizione di tue parole illumina, e da intelletto ai piccoli.
131 I opened my mouth and drew breath, for I desired your commandments.	131 Apersi mia bocca, e a me trassi lo spirito, perché anelava a' tuoi comandamenti.

133 Direct my steps according to your eloquence, and let no injustice rule over me.	133 Indirizza i miei passi secondo la tua parola, e veruna ingiustizia non regni in me.
134 Redeem me from the slanders of men, so that I may keep your commandments.	134 Liberami dalle calunnie degi uomini, affinchè io osservi i tuoi precetti.
135 Make your face shine upon your servant, and teach me your justifications.	135 Fa risplendere sopra il tuo servo la luce della tua faccia, e insegnami le tue giustificazioni.
136 My eyes have gushed like springs of water, because they have not kept your law.	136 Rivi di lagrime hanno spano i miei occhi: perché non hanno osservata, la tua legge.
137 SADE. You are just, O Lord, and your judgment is right.	137 SADE. Giusto se' tu, o Signore, e retti sono i tuoi giudizj.
138 You have commanded justice: your testimonies and your truth even more so.	138 Tu strettamente comandasti la giustizia, e la tua verità ne' tuoi precetti.
139 My zeal has caused me to pine away, because my enemies have forgotten your words.	139 Il mio zelo mi consumò, perché i miei nemici si sono scordati di tue parole.
140 Your eloquence has been greatly enflamed, and your servant has loved it.	140 La tua parola è grandemente infiammata, e il tuo servo la amò.

147 I arrived first in maturity, and so I cried out. For in your words, I have hoped beyond hope.	147 Prevenni il mattino, e alzai le mie grida: perché nelle tue parole posi grande speranza.
148 My eyes preceded the dawn for you, so that I might meditate on your eloquence.	148 Prima del mattino a te si volsero gli occhi miei per meditar la tua legge.

153 RES. See my humiliation and rescue me, for I have not forgotten your law.	153 RES. Mira la mia umiliazione, e liberami: perocché non mi sono scordata della tua legge.
154 Judge my judgment and redeem me. Revive me because of your eloquence.	154 Giudica la mia causa, e riscattami: per riguardo alla tua parola rendi a me vita.
155 Salvation is far from sinners, because they have not inquired about your justifications.	155 La salute è lungi da' peccatori: perché non hanno ricercato le tue giustificazioni.
156 Many are your mercies, O Lord. Enliven me according to your judgment.	156 Le tue misericordie son molte o Signore: dammi vita secondo la tua parola.
157 Many are those who persecute me and who trouble me. I have not turned away from your testimonies.	157 Molti son quelli, che mi perseguitano, e mi affliggono: da' comandamenti tuoi non ho deviato.
158 I saw the prevaricators, and I pine away. For they have not kept your word.	158 Vidi i prevaricatori, e mi consumava di pena: perché non hanno osservate le tue parole.
159 O Lord, see how I have loved your commandments. Revive me in your mercy.	159 Mira, o Signore, com' io ho amati i tuoi precetti: per tua misericordia dammi la vita.
160 The beginning of your words is truth. All the judgments of your justice are for eternity.	160 Il principio di tue parole è verità: i giudizj di tua giustizia sono in eterno.
161 SIN. The leaders have persecuted me without cause. And my heart has been awed by your words.	161 SIN. I principi mi han perseguitato senza ragione: ma il mio cuore temette le tue parole.
162 I will rejoice over your eloquence, like one who has found many spoils.	162 Mi goderò io sopra le tue parole, come chi abbia fatto acquisto di molta preda.
163 I have held hatred for iniquity, and I have abhorred it. Yet I have loved your law.	163 Ho avuta in odio, e in abbominazione l'iniquità, ed ho amata la tua legge.
164 Seven times a day, I uttered praise to you about the judgments of your justice.	164 Sette volte al giorno ho a te dato laude sopra i giudizj di tua giustìzia.
165 Those who love your law have great peace, and there is no scandal for them.	165 Pace molta per quelli, che amano la tua legge: e inciampo per essi non è.
166 I have waited for your salvation, O Lord. And I have loved your commandments.	166 Io aspettava, o Signore, la salute, che vien da te, e amai i tuoi comandamenti.
167 My soul has kept to your testimonies and has loved them exceedingly.	167 L'anima mia ha osservati i tuoi precetti, e gli ha amati ardentemente.
168 I have served your commandments and your testimonies. For all my ways are before your sight.	168 Ho osservato i tuoi comandamenti, e le tue testimonianze: perché tutti i miei andamenti sono sotto degli occhi tuoi.
169 TAU. O Lord, let my supplication draw near in your sight. Grant understanding to me according to your eloquence.	169 TAU. Abbia accesso al tuo cospetto la mia preghiera, o Signore: secondo la tua parola dammi intelligenza.
170 Let my petition enter before you. Rescue me according to your word.	170 Penetrino le mie suppliche al tuo cospetto: liberami secondo la tua parola.
171 A hymn will burst forth from my lips, when you will teach me your justifications.	171 Canteranno le labbra mie inno di laude quando mi avrai tu insegnate le tue giustificazioni.
172 My tongue will pronounce your eloquence. For all your commandments are fairness.	172 La mia lingua annunzierà la tua parola: perocché tutti i tuoi precetti sono equità.
173 Let it be your hand that saves me. For I have chosen your commandments.	173 Stendasi la tua mano a salvarmi: perocché io preelessi i tuoi comandamenti.
174 O Lord, I have longed for your salvation, and your law is my meditation.	174 L'anima mia, o Signore, ha desiderata la salute, che vien da te: e mia meditazione ell'è la tua legge.
175 My soul will live and will praise you, and your judgments will assist me.	175 Viv'erà l'anima mia, e te loderà: e i tuoi giudizj saranno mio aiuto.
176 I have gone astray like a sheep that is lost. Seek out your servant, for I have not forgotten your commandments.	176 Andai errando qual pecora traviata: cerca il tuo servo, perchè io non mi sono scordato de' tuoi comandamenti.
