Nehemiah 3

1 And Eliashib, the great priest, rose up, with his brothers, the priests, and they built the gate of the flock. They sanctified it, and they set up its double doors, and as far as the tower of one hundred cubits, they sanctified it, even to the tower of Hananel.	1 E levossi Eliasib, lo grande sacerdote, e li suoi fratelli sacerdoti, ed edificorono la porta degli animali; loro (dopo questo) la santificorono, e statuirono (ordinorono ed edificorono) le sue porte, e persino alla torre (per lo spazio) di cento cubiti santificorono quella, persino alla torre Ananeel.
2 And beside him, the men of Jericho built. And beside them, Zaccur, the son of Imri, built.	2 E appo lui edificorono gli uomini di Ierico; e appo lui edificò Zacur figliuolo di Amri.
3 But the sons of Hassenaah built the fish gate. They covered it, and they set up its double doors and locks and bars. And beside them, Meremoth, the son of Uriah, the son of Hakkoz, built.	3 E la porta de' pesci edificorono i figliuoli di Asnaa; loro (la ordinorono e) coprìrla, e fecero le sue porte e serrature e le stanghe; e appo loro edificoe Marimut figliuolo di Uria figliuolo di Accus.
4 And beside him, Meshullam, the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabel, built. And beside them, Zadok, the son of Baana, built.	4 E appo lui edificò Mosollam figliuolo di Barachia figliuolo di Mesezebel; e appo lui edificò Sadoc figliuolo di Baana.
5 And beside them, the Tekoites built. But the nobles among them did not put their necks to the work of their Lord.	5 E appo costoro edificorono i Tecueniti; e li loro principali e onorati non si volleno adoperare nell'opera del suo Signore Iddio.
6 And Joiada, the son of Paseah, and Meshullam, the son of Besodeiah, built the old gate. They covered it, and they set up its double doors and locks and bars.	6 E la porta vecchia edificorono Ioiada [figliuolo di] Fasea e Mosollam figliuolo di Besodia; costoro la coprirono, e (edificorono e) feceno le sue porte e le chiavature e le stanghe.
7 And beside them, Melatiah, a Gibeonite, and Jadon, a Meronothite, men from Gibeon and Mizpah, built, on behalf of the governor who was in the region across the river.	7 E appo loro edificò Meltia Gabaonite e Iadon Meronatite, uomini di Gabaon e Masfa, per lo governatore lo quale era nella regione di là dal fiume.
8 And beside him, Uzziel, the son of Harhaiah the goldsmith, built. And beside him, Hananiah, the son of the perfumer, built. 13 And Hanun built the gate of the valley, with the inhabitants of Zanoah. They built it, and they set up its double doors and locks and bars, with one thousand cubits of the wall, as far as the gate of the dunghill.	13 E la porta della valle edificò Anun e gli abitatori di Zanoe; costoro la edificorono, e fecero le sue porte e le chiavature e le stanghe, e mille cubiti nel muro persino alla porta delle brutture.
14 And Malchijah, the son of Rechab, the leader of the street of Beth-haccherem, built the gate of the dunghill. He built it, and he set up its double doors and locks and bars.	14 E la porta delle brutture edificò Melchia figliuolo di Recab, principe della contrada di Betacaram; lui la edificò, e fece le sue porte e le serrature e le stanghe sue.
15 And Shallum, the son of Colhozeh, the leader of the district of Mizpah, built the gate of the fountain. He built it, and he covered it, and he set up its double doors and locks and bars, and the walls of the pool of Shelah at the garden of the king, and as far as the steps that descend from the City of David.	15 E la porta della fonte edificò Sellum figliuolo di Coloza, principe della villa di Masfa; lui la edificò, e coprilla, e fece le sue porte e le chiavature e le stanghe, e il muro della piscina di Siloe nell'orto del re, e persino alli gradi (del re) che discendono della città di David.

18 After him, their brothers, Binnui, the son of Henadad, the leader of one half part of Keilah, built.	18 E dopo lui edificorono li fratelli suoi, Bavai figliuolo di Enadad, principe della metà (della contrada) di Ceila.
19 And beside him, Ezer, the son of Jeshua, the leader of Mizpah, built another measure, opposite the ascent to the strongest corner.	19 Ed edificò appo lui Azer figliuolo di Iosue principe di Masfa, la misura seconda, verso il salimento dell' angolo fermissimo (della città)..

And after him, Azariah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ananiah, built, opposite his own house.	23 Dopo lui edificò Beniamin e Asub contro alla casa sua; dopo lui edificoe Azaria figliuolo di Maasta figliuolo di Anania contro alla casa sua.

30 After him, Hananiah, the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun, the sixth son of Zalaph, built another measure. After him, Meshullam, the son of Berechiah, built, opposite his own storehouse. After him, Malchijah, the son of the goldsmith, built, even up to the house of the temple servants and of the sellers of small items, opposite the judgment gate, and even to the upper room of the corner.	30 Dopo lui edificò Anania figliuolo di Selemia, e Anun figliuolo di Selef sesto, la seconda misura; dopo lui edificò Mosollam figliuolo di Barachia, contro il suo gazofilacio; dopo lui edificò Melchia figliuolo dell' orefice persino alla casa de' Natinei, e di quelli che vendeano le scuta contro alla porta giudiciale, e insino al cenacolo dell' angolo.
31 And within the upper room of the corner, at the gate of the flock, the goldsmiths and the merchants built.	31 E fra il cenacolo dell' angolo alla porta degli animali edificorono gli orefici e li mercatanti.
