Zechariah 11

NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 Open your gateways, Lebanon, and the fire shal burn down your cedar trees!	1 Відчини твої ворота, о Ливане, щоб вогонь міг пожирати твої кедри!
2 Wail, juniper, for the cedar tree has fal en, the majestic ones have been ravaged! Wail, oaks ofBashan, for the impenetrable forest has been fel ed!	2 Стогни, о кипарисе, бо кедр повалився, — спустошено могутніх. Стогніть, дуби башанські, бо повалився ліс непрохідний.
3 The sound of the wailing of shepherds! Their majesty has been ravaged. The sound of the roaring ofyoung lions! The pride of the Jordan has been ravaged.	3 Чути пастухів ридання, бо спустошено їхні славні пасовиська. Чути рик левенят, бо спустошено красу Йордану.
4 Yahweh my God says this, 'Pasture the sheep for slaughter,	4 Так говорить Господь, Бог мій: «Паси овець, призначених на заріз:
5 whose buyers kil them and go unpunished, whose sel ers say of them, "Blessed be Yahweh; now I amrich!" and whose own shepherds show them no pity.	5 ті, що їх купують, безкарно убивають; ті ж, що продають їх, кажуть: Благословен Господь! Я розбагатів! — і їхні власні пастухи не жалують їх.
6 For I shal show no further pity for the inhabitants of the country -- Yahweh declares! Instead, I shalput everyone into the clutches of a neighbour, into the clutches of the king. They wil crush the country and I shalnot rescue anyone from their clutches.'	6 Я бо не буду жалувати більше мешканців країни, — слово Господнє. Ось я видам людей, кожного в руки ближнього свого та в руки царя свого, й вони спустошать землю, і я їх не визволю з руки їхньої.»
7 Then I pastured for slaughter the sheep belonging to the sheep-dealers. I took two staves: the one Ical ed 'Goodwill', the other 'Couplers'; and I pastured the sheep myself,	7 І я почав пасти овець, призначених на заріз — найнужденніші з отари. Я взяв собі дві палиці: одну назвав я Ласка, а другу Пов’язь, і я почав пасти овець.
8 getting rid of three shepherds in one month. But I lost patience with them, and they equal y detestedme.	8 І я відкинув трьох пастухів в один місяць, бо моя душа втратила терпеливість із ними, та й їхня душа теж мною бридилась.
9 I then said, 'I am not going to pasture you any more; the one doomed to die can die; the one doomedto perish can perish; and the rest can devour one another.'	9 І я сказав: «Не буду більш пасти вас! Те, що вмирає, нехай умирає; що має загинути, нехай гине, а ті, що зостаються, нехай м’ясо одне одного пожирають.»
10 I then took my staff, 'Goodwil ', and broke it in half, to break my covenant, which I had made with althe peoples.	10 Потім узяв я мою палицю, Ласку, й поламав її, щоб поламати мій союз, що я заключив був з усіма народами.
11 When it was broken, that day the sheep-dealers, who were watching me, realised that this had beena word of Yahweh.	11 І він був поламаний того дня, і найнужденніші з отари, що наглядали за мною, зрозуміли справді, що це було слово Господнє.
12 I then said to them, 'If you see fit, give me my wages; if not, never mind.' So they weighed out mywages: thirty shekels of silver.	12 І я сказав їм: «Коли ваша ласка, дайте мені мою плату, а коли ні, то лишіть.» І вони відважили мені мою плату — тридцять срібних.
13 Yahweh said to me, 'Throw it to the smelter, this princely sum at which they have valued me!' Takingthe thirty shekels of silver, I threw them into the Temple of Yahweh, for the smelter.	13 Але Господь сказав мені: «Кинь її до скарбниці, ту дорогу ціну, за яку вони мене оцінили.» І взяв я тридцять срібних і вкинув у дім Господній, у скарбницю.
14 I then broke my second staff, 'Couplers,' in half, to rupture the brotherly relationship between Judahand Israel.	14 Потім поламав я другу палицю, Пов’язь, щоб розірвати братерство між Юдою та Ізраїлем.
15 Next, Yahweh said to me, 'This time, take the gear of a good-for-nothing shepherd.	15 І сказав Господь до мене: «Візьми собі ще знаряддя дурного пастуха.
16 For I am now going to raise a shepherd in this country, who wil not bother about the lost, who will notgo in search of the stray, who wil not heal the injured, who wil not support the swollen, but who wil eat the meatof the fat ones, tearing off their very hoofs.	16 Ось бо я поставлю над цією країною пастуха. Про тих, що пропали, він не буде дбати; молодих він не буде шукати; ушкоджених він не буде лікувати, за втомлених не буде дбати, а буде їсти м’ясо ситих і ратиці в них виривати.
17 Disaster to the shepherd who deserts his flock! May the sword attack his arm and his right eye! Mayhis arm shrivel completely and his right eye be total y blinded!'	17 Горе ледачому пастухові, що покидає стадо! Меч на його рамено й на його праве око! Його рамено зовсім усохне, а праве око зовсім осліпне!»
