1 Shout for joy, you upright; praise comes wel from the honest.	1 (32-1) Радуйтесь, праведные, о Господе: правым прилично славословить.
2 Give thanks to Yahweh on the lyre, play for him on the ten-stringed lyre.	2 (32-2) Славьте Господа на гуслях, пойте Ему на десятиструнной псалтири;
3 Sing to him a new song, make sweet music for your cry of victory.	3 (32-3) пойте Ему новую песнь; пойте Ему стройно, с восклицанием,
4 The word of Yahweh is straightforward, al he does springs from his constancy.	4 (32-4) ибо слово Господне право и все дела Его верны.
5 He loves uprightness and justice; the faithful love of Yahweh fil s the earth.	5 (32-5) Он любит правду и суд; милости Господней полна земля.
6 By the word of Yahweh the heavens were made, by the breath of his mouth all their array.	6 (32-6) Словом Господа сотворены небеса, и духом уст Его--все воинство их:
7 He collects the waters of the sea like a dam, he stores away the abyss in his treasure-house.	7 (32-7) Он собрал, будто груды, морские воды, положил бездны в хранилищах.
8 Let the whole earth fear Yahweh, let al who dwel in the world revere him;	8 (32-8) Да боится Господа вся земля; да трепещут пред Ним все живущие во вселенной,
9 for, the moment he spoke, it was so, no sooner had he commanded, than there it stood!	9 (32-9) ибо Он сказал, --и сделалось; Он повелел, --и явилось.
10 Yahweh thwarts the plans of nations, frustrates the counsels of peoples;	10 (32-10) Господь разрушает советы язычников, уничтожает замыслы народов.
11 but Yahweh's own plan stands firm for ever, his heart's counsel from age to age.	11 (32-11) Совет же Господень стоит вовек; помышления сердца Его--в род и род.
12 How blessed the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people he has chosen as his heritage.	12 (32-12) Блажен народ, у которого Господь есть Бог, --племя, которое Он избрал в наследие Себе.
13 From heaven Yahweh looks down, he sees al the children of Adam,	13 (32-13) С небес призирает Господь, видит всех сынов человеческих;
14 from the place where he sits he watches al who dwel on the earth;	14 (32-14) с престола, на котором восседает, Он призирает на всех, живущих на земле:
15 he alone moulds their hearts, he understands al they do.	15 (32-15) Он создал сердца всех их и вникает во все дела их.
16 A large army wil not keep a king safe, nor his strength save a warrior's life;	16 (32-16) Не спасется царь множеством воинства; исполина не защитит великая сила.
17 it is delusion to rely on a horse for safety, for all its power it cannot save.	17 (32-17) Ненадежен конь для спасения, не избавит великою силою своею.
18 But see how Yahweh watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his faithful love,	18 (32-18) Вот, око Господне над боящимися Его и уповающими на милость Его,
19 to rescue them from death and keep them alive in famine.	19 (32-19) что Он душу их спасет от смерти и во время голода пропитает их.
20 We are waiting for Yahweh; he is our help and our shield,	20 (32-20) Душа наша уповает на Господа: Он--помощь наша и защита наша;
21 for in him our heart rejoices, in his holy name we trust.	21 (32-21) о Нем веселится сердце наше, ибо на святое имя Его мы уповали.
22 Yahweh, let your faithful love rest on us, as our hope has rested in you.	22 (32-22) Да будет милость Твоя, Господи, над нами, как мы уповаем на Тебя.
