1 When al this was complete, al Israel present went out to the towns of Judah, broke the pil ars, cutdown the sacred poles, wrecked the high places and the altars, and did away with them entirely throughoutJudah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh. Then al the Israelites returned to their towns, everyone to hisproperty.	1 Ed essendo tutte queste cose ragionevolmente celebrate, uscìo tutto Israel il quale si ritrovò per le cittadi di Giuda; e spezzò le statue, e tagliò i boschi; e disfeceno i luoghi alti e li altari, non solamente di Giuda e di Beniamin, ma d' Efraim e di Manasse, tanto che in tutto li spersono; e ritornarono tutti i figliuoli d' Israel nelle loro possessioni (e case) e cittadi.
2 Hezekiah re-established the priestly and levitical orders, each man in his proper order according to hisduties, whether priest or Levite, to bring burnt offerings and communion sacrifices, to serve and to give thanksand praise within the gates of Yahweh's camp.	2 Ed Ezechia ordinò le compagnie de' sacerdoti e de' Leviti, cadauno nell' officio suo proprio, agli olocausti e alli pacifichi, acciò che ministrassero e confessassero e cantassero nelle porte delle castella di Dio.
3 He also established a king's portion from his possessions for the morning and evening burnt offerings,and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, New Moons and festivals, as laid down in the Law of Yahweh.	3 E la parte del re era, che della sua propria sostanza si offerisse sempre olocausto alla mattina e al vespro, nei sabbati e calende e tutte altre solennitadi, sì come è scritto nella legge di Moisè.
4 He furthermore requested the people living in Jerusalem to present the portion for the priests andLevites so that they might devote themselves to the Law of Yahweh.	4 E comandò anco al popolo che abitava in Ierusalem, che dessono parte ai sacerdoti e a' Leviti, acciò che potessono vacare alla legge del Signore.
5 As soon as the order had been promulgated, the Israelites provided the first fruits of grain, new wine,olive oil, honey and every other kind of agricultural produce in abundance; they brought in an abundant tithe ofeverything.	5 La quale cosa sonata nelle orecchie della moltitudine, offerirono molte primizie i figliuoli d' Israel, di grano, di vino e d' olio e miele; e di tutte quelle cose, che la terra produce, diedono decima.
6 The Israelites and Judaeans living in the towns of Judah also brought in the tithe of cattle and sheep,and the tithe of sacred gifts consecrated to Yahweh their God, laying them in heaps.	6 E anco i figliuoli d' Israel e di Giuda, li quali abitavano nelle città di Giuda, offerirono la decima di buoi e di pecore, e la decima de' santi, la quale aveano votata al loro Signore Iddio; e portanti tutte queste cose faceano più monti.
7 They began accumulating the heaps in the third month and had finished them by the seventh.	7 E nel terzo mese cominciarono a fare i fondamenti de' monti, e nel settimo mese gli compierono.
8 When Hezekiah and the officials came to inspect the heaps they praised Yahweh and his peopleIsrael.	8 Ed entrato Ezechia e i suoi prìncipi, vedendo quegli monti, benedissero il Signore e il popolo d' Israel.
9 While Hezekiah was questioning the priests and Levites about the heaps,	9 E domandò Ezechia i sacerdoti e Leviti, perchè giaceano così quelli monti.
10 Azariah, the chief priest, of the family of Zadok, replied as fol ows, 'Since they began bringing thecontributions to the Temple of Yahweh,' he said, 'we have had enough to eat and quantities left over, for Yahwehhas blessed his people; this mass of stuff is left.'	10 E Azaria, primo sacerdote della stirpe di Sadoc, gli rispose, dicendo: da poi che si cominciarono a offerire le primizie nella casa del Signore, noi abbiamo mangiato a sazietà, e più cose ci sono rimase, però che il Signore hae benedetto il popolo suo; e questo che voi vedete è l'abbondanza delle reliquie.
11 Hezekiah then ordered them to have storerooms prepared in the Temple of Yahweh and, when theyhad got them ready,	11 E comandò Ezechia, che facessero granari nella casa del Signore. Li quali fatti,
12 they conscientiously brought in the contributions, tithes and consecrated gifts, Conaniah the Levitewas put in charge of them, with Shimei his brother as his assistant,	12 miservi dentro così le primizie come le decime e tutte quelle cose che fedelmente aveano votato; e fu loro prefetto Conenia Levita, e Semei suo fratello secondo.
13 and with Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jeremith, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath, and Benaiahas overseers under Conaniah and his brother Shimei, by order of King Hezekiah and of Azariah, the chief of theTemple of God.	13 Dopo il quale fu Iaiel e Azaria, Naat e Asael e Ierimot e Iozabad, Eliel e Iesmachia e Maat e Banaia, preposti sotto le mani di Conenia e di Semei suo fratello, di comandamento del re Ezechia e di Azaria pontefice della casa di Dio, ai quali appartenea tutte le cose.
14 Kore son of Jimnah the Levite, keeper of the eastern gate, was made responsible for the voluntaryofferings to God and for providing the portion set aside for Yahweh and the most holy gifts.	14 E Core figliuolo di Iemna, Levita e portiere della porta orientale, era preposto di quelle cose le quali si offeriano di volontà al Signore, delle primizie e delle cose consecrate in SANCTA SANCTORUM.
15 Supporting him loyal y in the priestly towns were Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah andShechaniah, who made the distributions to their brothers in their various orders, whether high or low,	15 E sotto la cura sua erano Eden, Beniamin, Iesue e Semeia e Amaria e Sechenia, nelle città de' sacerdoti, acciò che fedelmente distribuissono ai suoi fratelli le parti, a' maggiori e minori,
16 irrespective of their official genealogy, to the males of thirty years and upwards -- to each one whoattended the Temple of Yahweh to fulfil his daily obligations -- for the performance of their duties appropriate totheir orders:	16 fuori che a' maschi di tre anni e sopra (queste cose) anco a tutti quelli che entravano nel tempio del Signore; e tutto quello che per ciascuno dìe conduceano nel ministerio, senza le osservazioni, secondo le loro divisioni,
17 the priests being registered according to family and the Levites of twenty years and upwardsaccording to their duties within their orders.	17 a' sacerdoti per famiglie, a' Leviti di Xx anni in suso, per ordine per le loro compagnie,
18 And the official genealogy included all their household, their wives, their sons and their daughters,throughout the community, since these men were obliged to keep sanctifying themselves anew.	18 e a tutta la moltitudine, così alle loro donne, come a' figliuoli maschi e femine, fedelmente erano dati gli cibi, di quelle cose le quali erano santificate.
19 The Aaronite priests who lived on the pasture lands belonging to their towns, had men named inevery town to distribute portions to every male among the priests and to everyone included in the officialgenealogy of the Levites.	19 E de' figliuoli di Aaron, per li campi e per le corti dintorno alle loro cittadi, erano ordinati quelli li quali distribuissono le parti a tutti i maschi de' sacerdoti e de' Leviti.
20 Hezekiah did this throughout all Judah. He did what Yahweh his God regards as good and right andloyal.	20 E fece Ezechia tutte le cose, le quali noi abbiamo dette, in tutto Giuda; e operò quello che era buono e diritto e vero nel cospetto del suo Signore Iddio,
21 Everything that he undertook, whether in the service of the Temple of God or in connection with thelaw or the commandments, he did in absolute devotion to his God, and so succeeded.	21 in tutto il coltivamento del ministerio della casa di Dio, secondo le leggi e osservanze, volendo andare dopo il suo Signore Iddio con tutto il cuore; e fecelo e fu prosperato (dal Signore Iddio).
