1 The second lot fell to Simeon. The heritage of the clans of the tribe of Simeonites lay within that of the Judahites.	1 ויצא הגורל השני לשמעון למטה בני שמעון למשפחותם ויהי נחלתם בתוך נחלת בני יהודה
2 For their heritage they received Beer-sheba, Shema, Moladah,	2 ויהי להם בנחלתם באר שבע ושבע ומולדה
3 Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem,	3 וחצר שועל ובלה ועצם
4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,	4 ואלתולד ובתול וחרמה
5 Ziklag, Bethmar-caboth, Hazar-susah,	5 וצקלג ובית המרכבות וחצר סוסה
6 Beth-lebaoth and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages.	6 ובית לבאות ושרוחן ערים שלש עשרה וחצריהן
7 Also En-rimmon, Ether and Ashan; four cities and their villages,	7 עין רמון ועתר ועשן ערים ארבע וחצריהן
8 besides all the villages around these cities as far as Baalath-beer (that is, Ramoth-negeb). This was the heritage of the clans of the tribe of the Simeonites.	8 וכל החצרים אשר סביבות הערים האלה עד בעלת באר ראמת נגב זאת נחלת מטה בני שמעון למשפחתם
9 This heritage of the Simeonites was within the confines of the Judahites; for since the portion of the latter was too large for them, the Simeonites obtained their heritage within it.	9 מחבל בני יהודה נחלת בני שמעון כי היה חלק בני יהודה רב מהם וינחלו בני שמעון בתוך נחלתם
10 The third lot fell to the clans of the Zebulunites. The limit of their heritage was at Sarid.	10 ויעל הגורל השלישי לבני זבולן למשפחתם ויהי גבול נחלתם עד שריד
11 Their boundary went up west. . . and through Mareal, reaching Dabbesheth and the wadi that is near Jokneam.	11 ועלה גבולם לימה ומרעלה ופגע בדבשת ופגע אל הנחל אשר על פני יקנעם
12 From Sarid eastward it ran to the district of Chisloth-tabor, on to Daberath, and up to Japhia.	12 ושב משריד קדמה מזרח השמש על גבול כסלת תבר ויצא אל הדברת ועלה יפיע
13 From there it continued eastward to Gath-hepher and to Eth-kazin, extended to Rimmon, and turned to Neah.	13 ומשם עבר קדמה מזרחה גתה חפר עתה קצין ויצא רמון המתאר הנעה
14 Skirting north of Hannathon, the boundary ended at the valley of Iphtahel.	14 ונסב אתו הגבול מצפון חנתן והיו תצאתיו גי יפתח אל
15 Thus, with Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah and Bethlehem, there were twelve cities and their villages	15 וקטת ונהלל ושמרון וידאלה ובית לחם ערים שתים עשרה וחצריהן
16 to comprise the heritage of the clans of the Zebulunites.	16 זאת נחלת בני זבולן למשפחותם הערים האלה וחצריהן
17 The fourth lot fell to Issachar. The territory of the clans of the Issacharites	17 ליששכר יצא הגורל הרביעי לבני יששכר למשפחותם
18 included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,	18 ויהי גבולם יזרעאלה והכסולת ושונם
19 Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,	19 וחפרים ושיאן ואנחרת
20 Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,	20 והרבית וקשיון ואבץ
21 Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah and Beth-pazzez.	21 ורמת ועין גנים ועין חדה ובית פצץ
22 The boundary reached Tabor, Shahazumah and Beth-shemesh, ending at the Jordan. These sixteen cities and their villages	22 ופגע הגבול בתבור ושחצומה ובית שמש והיו תצאות גבולם הירדן ערים שש עשרה וחצריהן
23 were the heritage of the clans of the Issacharites.	23 זאת נחלת מטה בני יששכר למשפחתם הערים וחצריהן
24 The fifth lot fell to the clans of the tribe of the Asherites.	24 ויצא הגורל החמישי למטה בני אשר למשפחותם
25 Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,	25 ויהי גבולם חלקת וחלי ובטן ואכשף
26 Allammelech, Amad and Mishal, and reached Carmel on the west, and Shihor-libnath.	26 ואלמלך ועמעד ומשאל ופגע בכרמל הימה ובשיחור לבנת
27 In the other direction, it ran eastward of Beth-dagon, reached Zebulun and the valley of Iphtahel; then north of Beth-emek and Neiel, it extended to Cabul,	27 ושב מזרח השמש בית דגן ופגע בזבלון ובגי יפתח אל צפונה בית העמק ונעיאל ויצא אל כבול משמאל
28 Mishal, Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah, near Greater Sidon.	28 ועברן ורחב וחמון וקנה עד צידון רבה
29 Then the boundary turned back to Ramah and to the fortress city of Tyre; thence it cut back to Hosah and ended at the sea. Thus, with Mahalab, Achzib,	29 ושב הגבול הרמה ועד עיר מבצר צר ושב הגבול חסה ויהיו תצאתיו הימה מחבל אכזיבה
30 Ummah, Acco, Aphek and Rehob, there were twenty-two cities and their villages	30 ועמה ואפק ורחב ערים עשרים ושתים וחצריהן
31 to comprise the heritage of the clans of the tribe of the Asherites.	31 זאת נחלת מטה בני אשר למשפחתם הערים האלה וחצריהן
32 The sixth lot fell to the Naphtalites. The boundary of the clans of the Naphtalites	32 לבני נפתלי יצא הגורל הששי לבני נפתלי למשפחתם
33 extended from Heleph, from the oak at Zaanannim to Lakkum, including Adami-nekeb and Jabneel, and ended at the Jordan.	33 ויהי גבולם מחלף מאלון בצעננים ואדמי הנקב ויבנאל עד לקום ויהי תצאתיו הירדן
34 In the opposite direction, westerly, it ran through Aznoth-tabor and from there extended to Hukkok; it touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and the Jordan on the east.	34 ושב הגבול ימה אזנות תבור ויצא משם חוקקה ופגע בזבלון מנגב ובאשר פגע מים וביהודה הירדן מזרח השמש
35 The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,	35 וערי מבצר הצדים צר וחמת רקת וכנרת
36 Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,	36 ואדמה והרמה וחצור
37 Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor,	37 וקדש ואדרעי ועין חצור
38 Yiron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities and their villages,	38 ויראון ומגדל אל חרם ובית ענת ובית שמש ערים תשע עשרה וחצריהן
39 to comprise the heritage of the clans of the tribe of the Naphtalites.	39 זאת נחלת מטה בני נפתלי למשפחתם הערים וחצריהן
40 The seventh lot fell to the clans of the tribe of Danites.	40 למטה בני דן למשפחתם יצא הגורל השביעי
41 Their heritage was the territory of Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh,	41 ויהי גבול נחלתם צרעה ואשתאול ועיר שמש
42 Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,	42 ושעלבין ואילון ויתלה
43 Elon, Timnah, Ekron,	43 ואילון ותמנתה ועקרון
44 Eltekoh, Gibbethon, Baalath,	44 ואלתקה וגבתון ובעלת
45 Jehud, Bene-berak, Gath-rimmon,	45 ויהד ובני ברק וגת רמון
46 Me-jarkon and Rakkon, with the coast at Joppa.	46 ומי הירקון והרקון עם הגבול מול יפו
47 But the territory of the Danites was too small for them; so the Danites marched up and attacked Leshem, which they captured and put to the sword. Once they had taken possession of Leshem, they renamed the settlement after their ancestor Dan.	47 ויצא גבול בני דן מהם ויעלו בני דן וילחמו עם לשם וילכדו אותה ויכו אותה לפי חרב וירשו אותה וישבו בה ויקראו ללשם דן כשם דן אביהם
48 These cities and their villages were the heritage of the clans of the tribe of the Danites.	48 זאת נחלת מטה בני דן למשפחתם הערים האלה וחצריהן
49 When the last of them had received the portions of the land they were to inherit, the Israelites assigned a heritage in their midst to Joshua, son of Nun.	49 ויכלו לנחל את הארץ לגבולתיה ויתנו בני ישראל נחלה ליהושע בן נון בתוכם
50 In obedience to the command of the LORD, they gave him the city which he requested, Timnah-serah in the mountain region of Ephraim. He rebuilt the city and made it his home.	50 על פי יהוה נתנו לו את העיר אשר שאל את תמנת סרח בהר אפרים ויבנה את העיר וישב בה
51 These are the final portions into which Eleazar the priest, Joshua, son of Nun, and the heads of families in the tribes of the Israelites divided the land by lot in the presence of the LORD, at the door of the meeting tent in Shiloh.	51 אלה הנחלת אשר נחלו אלעזר הכהן ויהושע בן נון וראשי האבות למטות בני ישראל בגורל בשלה לפני יהוה פתח אהל מועד ויכלו מחלק את הארץ
