1 Hallelujah! Happy are those who fear the LORD, who greatly delight in God's commands.	1 Alleluia. Fanciulli, lodate il Signore; lodate il nome del Signore.
2 Their descendants shall be mighty in the land, generation upright and blessed.	2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, al presente e sempremai.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in their homes; their prosperity shall endure forever.	3 Da levante insino a ponente è da laudare il nome del Signore.
4 They shine through the darkness, a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and just.	4 Eccelso è il Signore sopra tutte le genti; e sopra li cieli è la gloria sua.
5 All goes well for those gracious in lending, who conduct their affairs with justice.	5 Chi è come il Signore Iddio nostro, il quale abita nelli luoghi alti,
6 They shall never be shaken; the just shall be remembered forever.	6 e risguarda le cose umili nel cielo e nella terra?
7 They shall not fear an ill report; their hearts are steadfast, trusting the LORD.	7 Egli leva il bisognoso da terra, e raddrizza il povero dal sterco;
8 Their hearts are tranquil, without fear, till at last they look down on their foes.	8 acciò che il collochi colli prìncipi, colli prìncipi del popolo suo.
9 Lavishly they give to the poor; their prosperity shall endure forever; their horn shall be exalted in honor.	9 Egli fa abitare la sterile nella casa, madre rallegrante de' figliuoli.
10 The wicked shall be angry to see this; they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the desires of the wicked come to nothing.
