Psalms 1

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked, Nor go the way of sinners, nor sit in company with scoffers.	1 ‎طوبى للرجل الذي لم يسلك في مشورة الاشرار وفي طريق الخطاة لم يقف وفي مجلس المستهزئين لم يجلس‎.
2 Rather, the law of the LORD is their joy; God's law they study day and night.	2 ‎لكن في ناموس الرب مسرّته وفي ناموسه يلهج نهارا وليلا‎.
3 They are like a tree planted near streams of water, that yields its fruit in season; Its leaves never wither; whatever they do prospers.	3 ‎فيكون كشجرة مغروسة عند مجاري المياه. التي تعطي ثمرها في اوانه. وورقها لا يذبل. وكل ما يصنعه ينجح
4 But not the wicked! They are like chaff driven by the wind.	4 ليس كذلك الاشرار لكنهم كالعصافة التي تذريها الريح‎.
5 Therefore the wicked will not survive judgment, nor will sinners in the assembly of the just.	5 ‎لذلك لا تقوم الاشرار في الدين ولا الخطاة في جماعة الابرار‎.
6 The LORD watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.	6 ‎لان الرب يعلم طريق الابرار. اما طريق الاشرار فتهلك
