1 ואתה דבר את הנאה ללקח הבריא	1 Tu autem loquere, quae decentsanam doctrinam.
2 שיהיו הזקנים משלים ברוחם ומכבדים וצנועים ובריאים באמונה ובאהבה ובסבלנות	2 Senes, ut sobrii sint, pudici, prudentes, sani fide, dilectione, patientia.
3 וכן הזקנות תהי הנהגתן כאשר נאוה לקדש לא תהיינה מלשינות ולא נכבשות לסבוא יין כי אם מלמדות טוב	3 Anus similiter in habitu sanctae, non criminatrices, non vino multo deditae,bene docentes,
4 ומישרות את הצעירות לאהב את בעליהן ולאהב את בניהן	4 ut prudentiam doceant adulescentulas, ut viros suos ament,filios diligant,
5 ולהיות צנועות וטהרות צופיות הליכות ביתן וטבות ונכנעות לבעליהן למען לא יחלל דבר האלהים	5 prudentes sint, castae, domus curam habentes, benignae,subditae suis viris, ut non blasphemetur verbum Dei.
6 ככה תזהיר גם את הבחורים שיהיו צנועים	6 Iuvenes similiter hortare, ut sobrii sint.
7 ובכל דבר היה אתה למופת במעשים טובים בהוראה צרופה ונהדרה	7 In omnibus teipsum praebensexemplum bonorum operum, in doctrina integritatem, gravitatem,
8 ובדבר בריא ומום אין בו למען יבוש המתקומם ולא ימצא לדבר עליכם רע	8 in verbo sanoirreprehensibilem, ut is, qui ex adverso est, vereatur, nihil habens malumdicere de nobis.
9 העבדים יכנעו לאדניהם ויתרצו להם בכל דבר ולא ימרו את דבריהם	9 Servos dominis suis subditos esse in omnibus, placentes esse, noncontradicentes,
10 ולא ימעלו מעל כי אם יראו כל אמונה טובה למען יפארו בכל את לקח אלהינו מושיענו	10 non fraudantes, sed omnem fidem bonam ostendentes, utdoctrinam salutaris nostri Dei ornent in omnibus.
11 כי הופיע חסד אלהים להושיע את כל בני האדם	11 Apparuit enim gratia Dei salutaris omnibus hominibus
12 וליסר אתנו אשר נתעב הרשע ותאות העולם ונחיה בעולם הזה בצניעות ובצדק ובחסידות	12 erudiens nos, utabnegantes impietatem et saecularia desideria sobrie et iuste et pie vivamus inhoc saeculo,
13 ונחכה לתקוה המאשרת ולהופעת כבוד אלהינו הגדול ומושיענו ישוע המשיח	13 exspectantes beatam spem et adventum gloriae magni Dei etsalvatoris nostri Iesu Christi;
14 אשר נתן את נפשו בעדנו לגאלנו מכל עול ולטהר לו עם סגלה הזריז במעשים טובים	14 qui dedit semetipsum pro nobis, ut nosredimeret ab omni iniquitate et mundaret sibi populum peculiarem, sectatorembonorum operum.
15 את אלה תדבר ותזהיר ותוכיח בכל חזקה ואיש אל יבוז לך	15 Haec loquere et exhortare et argue cum omni imperio. Nemo te contemnat!
