1 למנצח לדוד להזכיר אלהים להצילני יהוה לעזרתי חושה	1 [For the choirmaster Of David In commemoration] Be pleased, God, to rescue me, Yahweh, comequickly and help me!
2 יבשו ויחפרו מבקשי נפשי יסגו אחור ויכלמו חפצי רעתי	2 Shame and dismay to those who seek my life! Back with them! Let them be humiliated who delight inmy misfortunes.
3 ישובו על עקב בשתם האמרים האח האח	3 Let them shrink away covered with shame, those who say to me, 'Aha, aha!'
4 ישישו וישמחו בך כל מבקשיך ויאמרו תמיד יגדל אלהים אהבי ישועתך	4 But joy and happiness in you to al who seek you. Let them ceaselessly cry, 'God is great', who loveyour saving power.
5 ואני עני ואביון אלהים חושה לי עזרי ומפלטי אתה יהוה אל תאחר	5 Poor and needy as I am, God, come quickly to me! Yahweh, my helper, my Saviour, do not delay!
