ΙΕΖΕΚΙΗΛ - Ezechiele - Ezekiel 32

LXX	NEW JERUSALEM
1 και εγενετο εν τω ενδεκατω ετει εν τω δωδεκατω μηνι μια του μηνος εγενετο λογος κυριου προς με λεγων	1 In the twelfth year, on the first day of the twelfth month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me asfol ows,
2 υιε ανθρωπου λαβε θρηνον επι φαραω βασιλεα αιγυπτου και ερεις αυτω λεοντι εθνων ωμοιωθης και συ ως δρακων ο εν τη θαλασση και εκερατιζες τοις ποταμοις σου και εταρασσες υδωρ τοις ποσιν σου και κατεπατεις τους ποταμους σου	2 'Son of man, raise a lament for Pharaoh king of Egypt. Say to him: "Young lion of nations, you aredestroyed! Once you were like a crocodile in the lagoons; emerging from your rivers, you churned up the waterwith your trampling and fouled their streams.
3 ταδε λεγει κυριος και περιβαλω επι σε δικτυα λαων πολλων και αναξω σε εν τω αγκιστρω μου	3 "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal throw my net over you in a great concourse of nations; and theywil trawl you up in my net. Then I shal leave you high and dry,
4 και εκτενω σε επι την γην πεδια πλησθησεται σου και επικαθιω επι σε παντα τα πετεινα του ουρανου και εμπλησω εκ σου παντα τα θηρια πασης της γης	4 I shal throw you out into the wilds and make al the birds of heaven settle on you, and glut all thebeasts of the earth with you.
5 και δωσω τας σαρκας σου επι τα ορη και εμπλησω απο του αιματος σου	5 I shal strew your flesh on your mountains and fil the val eys with your corruption;
6 και ποτισθησεται η γη απο των προχωρηματων σου απο του πληθους σου επι των ορεων φαραγγας εμπλησω απο σου	6 I shal water the country with what flows from you, with your blood, on the mountainsides, and you wilfill the ravines.
7 και κατακαλυψω εν τω σβεσθηναι σε ουρανον και συσκοτασω τα αστρα αυτου ηλιον εν νεφελη καλυψω και σεληνη ου μη φανη το φως αυτης	7 When I extinguish you I shal cover the skies and darken the stars. I shall cover the sun with cloudsand the moon wil not give its light.
8 παντα τα φαινοντα φως εν τω ουρανω συσκοτασουσιν επι σε και δωσω σκοτος επι την γην σου λεγει κυριος κυριος	8 I shal dim every luminary in heaven because of you and cover your country in darkness -declares theLord Yahweh.
9 και παροργιω καρδιαν λαων πολλων ηνικα αν αγω αιχμαλωσιαν σου εις τα εθνη εις γην ην ουκ εγνως	9 "I shall grieve the heart of many peoples when I bring about your destruction among the nations, incountries unknown to you.
10 και στυγνασουσιν επι σε εθνη πολλα και οι βασιλεις αυτων εκστασει εκστησονται εν τω πετασθαι την ρομφαιαν μου επι προσωπα αυτων προσδεχομενοι την πτωσιν αυτων αφ' ημερας πτωσεως σου	10 I shal stun many peoples with shock at your fate; their kings wil tremble with horror at your fate,when I brandish my sword before their eyes. The day you fal , each wil tremble in terror for his life.
11 οτι ταδε λεγει κυριος ρομφαια βασιλεως βαβυλωνος ηξει σοι	11 For the Lord Yahweh says this: The sword of the king of Babylon wil overtake you.
12 εν μαχαιραις γιγαντων και καταβαλω την ισχυν σου λοιμοι απο εθνων παντες και απολουσι την υβριν αιγυπτου και συντριβησεται πασα η ισχυς αυτης	12 I shal make your throngs of subjects fall at the swords of my warriors. They are the most barbarousof nations. They wil annihilate the pride of Egypt, and al its throngs will be destroyed.
13 και απολω παντα τα κτηνη αυτης αφ' υδατος πολλου και ου μη ταραξη αυτο ετι πους ανθρωπου και ιχνος κτηνων ου μη καταπατηση αυτο	13 I shal also destroy al its cattle beside the plentiful waters. No human foot wil churn them, no animalfoot wil churn them up again;
14 ουτως τοτε ησυχασει τα υδατα αυτων και οι ποταμοι αυτων ως ελαιον πορευσονται λεγει κυριος	14 then I shal let their waters settle and make their rivers glide like oil -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
15 οταν δω αιγυπτον εις απωλειαν και ερημωθη η γη συν τη πληρωσει αυτης οταν διασπειρω παντας τους κατοικουντας εν αυτη και γνωσονται οτι εγω ειμι κυριος	15 "When I reduce Egypt to a ruin and the country is stripped of its contents, when I strike all those wholive there, they wil know that I am Yahweh.
16 θρηνος εστιν και θρηνησεις αυτον και αι θυγατερες των εθνων θρηνησουσιν αυτον επ' αιγυπτον και επι πασαν την ισχυν αυτης θρηνησουσιν αυτην λεγει κυριος κυριος	16 "Such is the lament which the daughters of the nations wil raise. They wil raise it over Egypt and allits throng. This is the lament they will raise -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '
17 και εγενηθη εν τω δωδεκατω ετει του πρωτου μηνος πεντεκαιδεκατη του μηνος εγενετο λογος κυριου προς με λεγων	17 In the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to meas fol ows,
18 υιε ανθρωπου θρηνησον επι την ισχυν αιγυπτου και καταβιβασουσιν αυτης τας θυγατερας τα εθνη νεκρας εις το βαθος της γης προς τους καταβαινοντας εις βοθρον	18 'Son of man, lament over the throng of Egypt, for down she must go with the daughters of majesticnations to the depths of the underworld with those who sink into oblivion.
19 -	19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Down with you, make your bed with the uncircumcised,
20 εν μεσω τραυματιων μαχαιρας πεσουνται μετ' αυτου και κοιμηθησεται πασα η ισχυς αυτου	20 with those who have been slaughtered by the sword. (The sword has been given, it has been drawn.)She and al her throngs have fallen.
21 και ερουσιν σοι οι γιγαντες εν βαθει βοθρου γινου τινος κρειττων ει καταβηθι και κοιμηθητι μετα απεριτμητων εν μεσω τραυματιων μαχαιρας	21 From the depths of Sheol, the mightiest heroes, her al ies, wil say to her, "They have come down,they have lain down, uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword."
22 εκει ασσουρ και πασα η συναγωγη αυτου παντες τραυματιαι εκει εδοθησαν και η ταφη αυτων εν βαθει βοθρου και εγενηθη η συναγωγη αυτου περικυκλω του μνηματος αυτου παντες οι τραυματιαι οι πεπτωκοτες μαχαιρα	22 'Assyria is there and al her hordes, with their graves al round her; all of them slaughtered, fal en bythe sword;
23 οι δοντες τον φοβον αυτων επι γης ζωης	23 their graves have been made in the deepest part of the abyss, and her hordes, with their graves alround her; all of them slaughtered, kil ed by the sword, who once spread terror through the world of the living.
24 εκει αιλαμ και πασα η δυναμις αυτου περικυκλω του μνηματος αυτου παντες οι τραυματιαι οι πεπτωκοτες μαχαιρα και οι καταβαινοντες απεριτμητοι εις γης βαθος οι δεδωκοτες αυτων φοβον επι γης ζωης και ελαβοσαν την βασανον αυτων μετα των καταβαινοντων εις βοθρον	24 'Elam is there and al her throng round her grave, al of them slaughtered, fallen by the sword; theyhave gone down uncircumcised to the depths of the underworld, who once spread terror throughout the world ofthe living. They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion.
25 εν μεσω τραυματιων	25 Among the slaughtered, they have put a bed for her, among her throng with their tombs round her, alof them uncircumcised, slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror throughout the world of the living.They have borne their shame with those who sink into oblivion. They have been put among the slaughtered.
26 εκει εδοθησαν μοσοχ και θοβελ και πασα η ισχυς αυτων περικυκλω του μνηματος αυτου παντες τραυματιαι αυτου παντες απεριτμητοι τραυματιαι απο μαχαιρας οι δεδωκοτες τον φοβον αυτων επι γης ζωης	26 'Meshech, Tubal are there and al her throng, with their graves round her, al of them uncircumcised,slaughtered by the sword for having spread terror through the world of the living.
27 και εκοιμηθησαν μετα των γιγαντων των πεπτωκοτων απο αιωνος οι κατεβησαν εις αδου εν οπλοις πολεμικοις και εθηκαν τας μαχαιρας αυτων υπο τας κεφαλας αυτων και εγενηθησαν αι ανομιαι αυτων επι των οστων αυτων οτι εξεφοβησαν γιγαντας εν γη ζωης	27 They do not lie with the heroes who fell long ago, those who went down to Sheol ful y armed, whohad their swords laid under their heads and their shields put under their bones, since the heroes inspired theworld of the living with terror.
28 και συ εν μεσω απεριτμητων κοιμηθηση μετα τετραυματισμενων μαχαιρα	28 But you wil be broken with the uncircumcised and lie with those slaughtered by the sword.
29 εκει εδοθησαν οι αρχοντες ασσουρ οι δοντες την ισχυν αυτου εις τραυμα μαχαιρας ουτοι μετα τραυματιων εκοιμηθησαν μετα καταβαινοντων εις βοθρον	29 'Edom is there, her kings and al her princes who, despite their valour, have been laid with thoseslaughtered by the sword. They lie with the uncircumcised, with those who sink into oblivion.
30 εκει οι αρχοντες του βορρα παντες στρατηγοι ασσουρ οι καταβαινοντες τραυματιαι συν τω φοβω αυτων και τη ισχυι αυτων εκοιμηθησαν απεριτμητοι μετα τραυματιων μαχαιρας και απηνεγκαν την βασανον αυτων μετα των καταβαινοντων εις βοθρον	30 'Al the princes of the north and al the Sidonians are there, who have gone down with theslaughtered, because of the terror which their power inspired. Ashamed, uncircumcised, they lie among thoseslaughtered by the sword and bear their shame with those who sink into oblivion.
31 εκεινους οψεται βασιλευς φαραω και παρακληθησεται επι πασαν την ισχυν αυτων λεγει κυριος κυριος	31 'Pharaoh wil see them and take comfort at the sight of al this throng slaughtered by the sword --Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
32 οτι δεδωκα τον φοβον αυτου επι γης ζωης και κοιμηθησεται εν μεσω απεριτμητων μετα τραυματιων μαχαιρας φαραω και παν το πληθος αυτου λεγει κυριος κυριος	32 For having spread terror through the world of the living, he wil be laid with the uncircumcised, withthose slaughtered by the sword, Pharaoh and al his throng -- declares the Lord Yahweh.'
