Leviticus 13

KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,	1 Yahvé parla à Moïse et à Aaron, et dit:
2 When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or a bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:	2 S'il se forme sur la peau d'un homme une tumeur, une dartre ou une tache, un cas de lèpre de lapeau est à prévoir. On le conduira à Aaron, le prêtre, ou à l'un des prêtres ses fils.
3 And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.	3 Le prêtre examinera le mal sur la peau. Si à l'endroit malade le poil a viré au blanc, si ce mal faitun creux dans l'épiderme, c'est bien un cas de lèpre; après observation le prêtre déclarera l'homme impur.
4 If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:	4 Mais si sur la peau il y a une tache blanche, sans dépression visible de la peau et sansblanchissement du poil, le prêtre séquestrera le malade pendant sept jours.
5 And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:	5 Il l'examinera le septième jour. S'il constate de ses propres yeux que le mal subsiste sans sedévelopper sur la peau, il le séquestrera encore durant sept jours
6 And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.	6 et l'examinera à nouveau le septième jour. S'il constate que le mal est devenu mat et ne s'est pasdéveloppé sur la peau, le prêtre déclarera pur cet homme: il s'agit d'une dartre. Après avoir nettoyé ses vêtementsil sera pur.
7 But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again:	7 Mais si la dartre s'est développée sur la peau après que le malade a été examiné par le prêtre etdéclaré pur, il se présentera à lui de nouveau.
8 And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.	8 Après l'avoir examiné et après avoir constaté le développement de la dartre sur la peau, le prêtrele déclarera impur: il s'agit de lèpre.
9 When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;	9 Lorsqu'apparaîtra sur un homme un mal du genre lèpre, on le conduira au prêtre.
10 And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;	10 Le prêtre l'examinera, et s'il constate sur la peau une tumeur blanchâtre avec blanchissement dupoil et production d'un ulcère,
11 It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.	11 c'est une lèpre invétérée sur la peau. Le prêtre le déclarera impur. Il ne le séquestrera pas, sansaucun doute il est impur.
12 And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;	12 Mais si la lèpre prolifère sur la peau, si la maladie la recouvre tout entière et s'étend de la têteaux pieds, où que regarde le prêtre,
13 Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.	13 celui-ci examinera le malade et, constatant que la lèpre recouvre tout son corps, il déclarera purle malade. Puisque tout a viré au blanc, il est pur.
14 But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.	14 Toutefois, le jour où apparaîtra sur lui un ulcère, il sera impur.
15 And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.	15 Après examen de l'ulcère, le prêtre le déclarera impur: l'ulcère est chose impure, c'est de lalèpre.
16 Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;	16 Mais si l'ulcère redevient blanc, l'homme ira trouver le prêtre,
17 And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.	17 celui-ci l'examinera et, s'il constate que le mal a viré au blanc, il déclarera pur le malade: il estpur.
18 The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,	18 Lorsqu'il s'est produit sur la peau de quelqu'un un ulcère qui a guéri,
19 And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the priest;	19 s'il se forme à la place de l'ulcère une tumeur blanchâtre ou une tache d'un blanc rougeâtre, cethomme se montrera au prêtre.
20 And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.	20 Celui-ci l'examinera; s'il constate un affaissement visible de la peau et un blanchissement dupoil, le prêtre le déclarera impur: c'est un cas de lèpre qui prolifère dans un ulcère.
21 But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:	21 Si, à l'examen, le prêtre ne constate ni poils blancs, ni affaissement de la peau, mais unternissement du mal, il séquestrera sept jours le malade.
22 And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.	22 Il le déclarera impur si le mal s'est développé sur la peau: c'est un cas de lèpre.
23 But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.	23 Mais si la tache est restée stationnaire sans s'étendre, c'est la cicatrice de l'ulcère: le prêtredéclarera cet homme pur.
24 Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;	24 Lorsqu'il s'est produit sur la peau de quelqu'un une brûlure, s'il se forme sur la brûlure un abcès,une tache blanc-rougeâtre ou blanchâtre,
25 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.	25 le prêtre l'examinera. S'il constate un blanchissement du poil ou un affaissement visible de latache dans la peau, c'est la lèpre qui prolifère dans la brûlure. Le prêtre déclarera l'homme impur: c'est un cas delèpre.
26 But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:	26 Si au contraire le prêtre, à l'examen, ne constate point de poils blancs dans la tache nid'affaissement de la peau mais un ternissement de cette tache, le prêtre le séquestrera sept jours.
27 And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.	27 Il l'examinera le septième jour et, si le mal s'est étendu sur la peau, il le déclarera impur: c'estun cas de lèpre.
28 And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.	28 Si la tache est restée stationnaire sans s'étendre sur la peau, si elle s'est au contraire ternie, cen'est qu'une tumeur due à la brûlure. Le prêtre déclarera l'homme pur, ce n'est que la cicatrice de la brûlure.
29 If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;	29 Si un homme ou une femme porte une plaie à la tête ou au menton,
30 Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.	30 le prêtre examinera cette plaie et, s'il y constate une dépression visible de la peau avec poiljaunâtre et grêle, il déclarera le malade impur. C'est la teigne, c'est-à-dire la lèpre de la tête ou du menton.
31 And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:	31 Si à l'examen de ce cas de teigne le prêtre constate qu'il n'y a point dépression visible de la peauni poil jaunâtre, il séquestrera sept jours le teigneux.
32 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;	32 Il examinera le mal le septième jour et, s'il constate que la teigne ne s'est pas développée, que lepoil n'y est point jaunâtre, qu'il n'y a point de dépression visible de la peau,
33 He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:	33 le malade se rasera, en omettant toutefois la partie teigneuse, et le prêtre le séquestrera uneseconde fois pendant sept jours.
34 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.	34 Il examinera le mal le septième jour, et, s'il constate qu'il ne s'est pas développé sur la peau,qu'il n'y a pas dépression visible de la peau, le prêtre déclarera pur ce malade. Après avoir nettoyé ses vêtementsil sera pur.
35 But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;	35 Si toutefois après cette purification la teigne s'est développée sur la peau,
36 Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.	36 le prêtre l'examinera: s'il constate un développement de la teigne sur la peau, c'est que le maladeest impur et l'on ne vérifiera pas si le poil est jaunâtre.
37 But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.	37 Tandis que si la teigne apparaît stationnaire et s'il y pousse du poil noir, c'est que le malade estguéri. Il est pur et le prêtre le déclarera pur.
38 If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;	38 S'il se produit des taches sur la peau d'un homme ou d'une femme et si ces taches sont blanches,
39 Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.	39 le prêtre les examinera. S'il constate que ces taches sur la peau sont d'un blanc terne, il s'agitd'un exanthème qui a proliféré sur la peau: le malade est pur.
40 And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.	40 Si un homme perd les cheveux de son crâne, c'est la calvitie du crâne, il est pur.
41 And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.	41 Si c'est sur le devant de la tête qu'il perd ses cheveux, c'est une calvitie du front, il est pur.
42 And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.	42 Mais s'il y a au crâne ou au front un mal blanc-rougeâtre, c'est qu'une lèpre prolifère sur lecrâne ou le front de cet homme.
43 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;	43 Le prêtre l'examinera et, s'il constate au crâne ou au front une tumeur blanc-rougeâtre, de mêmeaspect que la lèpre de la peau,
44 He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.	44 c'est que l'homme est lépreux; il est impur. Le prêtre devra le déclarer impur, il est atteint delèpre à la tête.
45 And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.	45 Le lépreux atteint de ce mal portera ses vêtements déchirés et ses cheveux dénoués; il secouvrira la moustache et il criera: "Impur! Impur!"
46 All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.	46 Tant que durera son mal, il sera impur et, étant impur, il demeurera à part: sa demeure sera horsdu camp.
47 The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;	47 Lorsqu'un vêtement est atteint de lèpre, que ce soit un vêtement de laine ou de lin,
48 Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;	48 un tissu ou une couverture en laine ou en lin, du cuir ou un travail quelconque en cuir,
49 And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:	49 si la tache de ce vêtement, de ce cuir, de ce tissu, de cette couverture ou de cet objet de cuirapparaît verdâtre ou rougeâtre c'est un cas de lèpre à montrer au prêtre.
50 And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:	50 Le prêtre examinera le mal et séquestrera l'objet pendant sept jours.
51 And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.	51 S'il observe au septième jour que le mal s'est étendu sur ce vêtement, ce tissu, cette couverture,ce cuir ou cet objet fait en cuir, quel qu'il soit, c'est un cas de lèpre contagieuse: l'objet atteint est impur.
52 He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.	52 Il brûlera ce vêtement, ce tissu, cette couverture de laine ou de lin, cet objet de cuir quel qu'ilsoit, sur lequel s'est déclaré le mal, car c'est une lèpre contagieuse qui doit être consumée par le feu.
53 And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;	53 Mais si, à l'examen, le prêtre constate que le mal ne s'est pas étendu sur ce vêtement, ce tissu,cette couverture, ou sur cet objet de cuir quel qu'il soit,
54 Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:	54 il ordonnera de nettoyer l'objet attaqué et le séquestrera une seconde fois pendant sept jours.
55 And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.	55 Après nettoiement il examinera le mal et, s'il constate qu'il n'a pas changé d'aspect, tout en nes'étendant pas, l'objet est impur. Tu le consumeras par le feu: il y a corrosion à l'endroit et à l'envers.
56 And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:	56 Mais si, à l'examen, le prêtre constate qu'après nettoiement le mal a terni, il l'arrachera duvêtement, du cuir, du tissu ou de la couverture.
57 And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.	57 Toutefois, si le mal reparaît sur ce vêtement, ce tissu, cette couverture ou cet objet de cuir quelqu'il soit, c'est que le mal est actif et tu consumeras par le feu ce qui en est atteint.
58 And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.	58 Quant au vêtement, au tissu, à la couverture et à l'objet quelconque en cuir dont le mal auradisparu après nettoiement, il sera pur après avoir été nettoyé une seconde fois.
59 This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.	59 Telle est la loi pour le cas de lèpre d'un vêtement en laine ou en lin, d'un tissu, d'une couvertureou d'un objet en cuir quel qu'il soit, lorsqu'il s'agit de les déclarer purs ou impurs.
