Isaiah 65

KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.	1 Je me suis laissé approcher par qui ne me questionnait pas, je me suis laissé trouver par qui ne mecherchait pas. J'ai dit: "Me voici! me voici!" à une nation qui n'invoquait pas mon nom.
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;	2 J'ai tendu les mains, chaque jour, vers un peuple rebelle, des gens qui suivent une voie mauvaise, augré de leur fantaisie.
3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;	3 Un peuple qui me provoque sans cesse en face, qui sacrifie dans les jardins, qui brûle de l'encens surdes briques,
4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;	4 qui habite dans les tombeaux, passe la nuit dans les recoins, mange de la viande de porc et met dansses plats des morceaux impurs.
5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.	5 Ils disent: "Retire-toi, ne me touche pas, je te sanctifierai." Ces mots sont comme une fumée quim'étouffe, un feu toujours brûlant.
6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,	6 Voici, c'est écrit devant moi: je ne me tairai pas que je n'aie réglé leur compte, réglé à pleine mesure,
7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.	7 puni vos fautes et les fautes de vos pères, toutes ensemble, dit Yahvé, eux qui ont brûlé des parfumssur les montagnes et m'ont outragé sur les collines; je mesurerai à pleine mesure leurs oeuvres anciennes.
8 Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.	8 Ainsi parle Yahvé: Quand on trouve du jus dans une grappe, on dit: Ne la détruisez pas, car ellecontient une bénédiction; ainsi ferai-je en faveur de mes serviteurs, je ne détruirai pas tout.
9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.	9 Je ferai sortir de Jacob une race, je ferai de Juda l'héritier de mes montagnes, mes élus lesposséderont, mes serviteurs y habiteront.
10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.	10 Le pays de Saron deviendra un pâturage de brebis, la vallée d'Akor un pacage de boeufs, pour monpeuple qui m'aura cherché.
11 But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.	11 Quant à vous tous qui abandonnez Yahvé, qui oubliez ma montagne sainte, qui dressez à Gad unetable, qui versez à pleine coupe des mixtures pour Meni,
12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.	12 je vous destinerai à l'épée, tous, vous courberez l'échine pour être massacrés, car j'ai appelé et vousn'avez pas répondu, j'ai parlé et vous n'avez pas écouté; vous avez fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux, vous avezchoisi ce qui me déplaît.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:	13 C'est pourquoi, ainsi parle le Seigneur Yahvé: Voici: mes serviteurs mangeront, mais vous, vousaurez faim; voici: mes serviteurs boiront, mais vous, vous aurez soif; voici: mes serviteurs seront dans la joie, etvous, dans la honte;
14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.	14 voici: mes serviteurs crieront, dans la joie de leur coeur, et vous, vous pousserez des cris, dans ladouleur de votre coeur, vous hurlerez dans l'accablement de votre esprit.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:	15 Et vous laisserez votre nom comme imprécation pour mes élus: "Que le Seigneur Yahvé te fassemourir!" mais à ses serviteurs il donnera un autre nom.
16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.	16 Ceux qui se béniront sur terre se béniront par le Dieu de vérité, et ceux qui jureront sur terre jurerontpar le Dieu de vérité; on oubliera les angoisses anciennes, elles auront disparu de mes yeux.
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.	17 Car voici que je vais créer des cieux nouveaux et une terre nouvelle, on ne se souviendra plus dupassé, il ne reviendra plus à l'esprit.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.	18 Mais soyez pleins d'allégresse et exultez éternellement de ce que moi, je vais créer: car voici que jevais faire de Jérusalem une exultation et de mon peuple une allégresse.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.	19 J'exulterai en Jérusalem, en mon peuple je serai plein d'allégresse, et l'on n'y entendra plus retentirles pleurs et les cris.
20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.	20 Là, plus de nouveau-né qui ne vive que quelques jours, ni de vieillard qui n'accomplisse son temps;car le plus jeune mourra à l'âge de cent ans, c'est à cent ans que le pécheur sera maudit.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.	21 Ils bâtiront des maisons et les habiteront, ils planteront des vignes et en mangeront les fruits.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.	22 Ils ne bâtiront plus pour qu'un autre habite, ils ne planteront plus pour qu'un autre mange. Car lesjours de mon peuple égaleront les jours des arbres, et mes élus useront ce que leurs mains auront fabriqué.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.	23 Ils ne peineront pas en vain, ils n'enfanteront plus pour la terreur, mais ils seront une race de bénis deYahvé, et leur descendance avec eux.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.	24 Ainsi, avant qu'ils n'appellent, moi je répondrai, ils parleront encore que j'aurai déjà entendu.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.	25 Le loup et l'agnelet paîtront ensemble, le lion comme le boeuf mangera de la paille, et le serpent senourrira de poussière. On ne fera plus de mal ni de violence sur toute ma montagne sainte, dit Yahvé.
