1 Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:	1 Lauda dello stesso Davidde. Te io esalterò, o Dio mio Re, e benedirò il nome tuo pel secolo di adesso, e pe' secoli de' secoli.
2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.	2 Ogni giorno io ti benedirò, e loderò il nome tuo pel secolo d'adesso, e pe secoli de' secoli.
3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!	3 Grande il Signore, e laudabile oltre modo: e la grandezza di lui non ha termine.
4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.	4 Le generazioni tutte celebreranno e opere tue, e annunzieranno la tua potenza.
5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.	5 Parleranno della magnifica gloria della tua santità, e racconteranno le tue meraviglie.
6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.	6 E diranno come la potenza tua è terribile, e racconteranno la tua grandezza.
7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;	7 Rammenteranno a piena bocca l'abbondanza di tua soavità, e faran festa di tua giustizia.
8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.	8 Benigno, e misericordioso egli è il Signore: paziente, e molto misericordioso.
9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.	9 Il Signore con tutti è benefico, e in tutte le opere di lui han luogo le sue misericordie.
10 It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.	10 Dian lode a te, o Signore, tutte le opere tue, e te benedicano i santi tuoi.
11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:	11 Eglino ridiranno la gloria del tuo regno, e parleranno di tua potenza:
12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:	12 Per far conoscere a' figliuoli degli uomini la tua potenza, e la gloria magnifica del tuo regno
13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:	13 Il tuo regno, regno di tutti i secoli, e il tuo principato per tutte quante l'etadi. Fedele il Signore in tutte le sue parole, e santo in tutte le opere sue.
14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.	14 Il Signore sostenta tutti que1 che sian per cadere, e rialza tutti que', che si sono infranti.
15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.	15 Gli occhi di tutti mirano a te, o Signore, e tu dai loro il nudrimento nel tempo convenevole.
	16 Apri tu le tue mani, e ogni animale di benedizione ricolmi.
	17 Giusto il Signore in tutte le sue vie, e santo in tutte le opere sue.
	18 Il Signore sta dappresso a tutti coloro, che l'invocano: a tutti coloro, che l'invocano con cuor verace.
	19 Ei farà la volontà di color, che lo temono, ed esaudirà la loro preghiera, e li salverà.
	20 Il Signore custodisce tutti coloro, che lo amano: e sterminerà tutti i peccatori.
	21 La mia bocca parlerà delle laudi del Signore: e ogni carne benedica il santo nome di lui pel secol d'adesso, e pe' secoli de' secoli.
