KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Ez az az áldás, mellyel Mózes, Isten embere, halála előtt megáldotta Izrael fiait.	1 This is the blessing that Moses, man of God, pronounced over the Israelites before he died.
2 Azt mondta: »Eljött az Úr a Sínairól, elénk támadt a Szeírről, megjelent a Párán hegyről, s megérkezett Meribat-Kádesbe, dél felől, Asdótba.	2 He said: Yahweh came from Sinai, from Seir he dawned on us, from Mount Paran blazed forth, Forthem he came, after the mustering at Kadesh, from his zenith as far as the foothil s.
3 A népeket szerette, kezében van minden szentje, s akik lábához közelednek, tanításában részesülnek.	3 You who love the ancestors! Your holy ones are all at your command. At your feet they fell, under yourguidance went swiftly on.
4 Törvényt adott nekünk Mózes által, örökségül Jákob sokaságának,	4 (Moses enjoined a law on us.) The assembly of Jacob comes into its inheritance;
5 királya lett az Igaznak, amikor egybegyűltek a nép fejei, egybe Izraelnek törzsei.«	5 there was a king in Jeshurun when the heads of the people foregathered and the tribes of Israel wereal assembled!

7 Júda áldása a következő volt: »Hallgasd meg, Uram, Júda szavát, juttasd el őt népéhez. Kezei küzdenek majd érte, ellenségei ellen megsegíti!«	7 Of Judah he said this: Listen, Yahweh, to the voice of Judah, and bring him back to his people. Thathis hands may defend his rights, come to his help against his foes!
8 Lévire vonatkozólag ezt mondta: »Az Urimot és Tumimot szent emberednek adtad, akit próbára tettél a kísértésnél, perbe fogtál a Pörölés vizénél.	8 Of Levi he said: To Levi, give your urim, to your faithful one, your thummim, having tested him atMassah, having striven with him at the Waters of Meribah.

11 Uram, áldd meg erejét, vedd kedvesen keze cselekvését, sújtsd derékon ellenségeit, hogy fel ne kelhessenek, akik gyűlölik.«	11 Yahweh, bless his worthiness, and accept the actions he performs. Crush the loins of those who riseagainst him and of his foes, so that they rise no more!
12 Benjaminra vonatkozólag ezt mondta: »Ő az Úr kedveltje, biztonságban lakik majd mellette. A Magasságbeli védelmezi egész nap, s az ő vállai között nyugszik.«	12 Of Benjamin he said: Beloved of Yahweh, he rests trustful y near him. The Most High protects himday after day and dwel s between his hil sides.
13 Józsefre vonatkozólag ezt mondta: »Áldja meg az Úr a földjét az ég gyümölcsével, a harmattal, az alant elterülő vízáradattal,	13 Of Joseph he said: His land is blessed by Yahweh. For him the best of heaven's dew and of the deepthat lies below,
14 nap és hold termelte gyümölcsökkel,	14 the best of what the sun makes grow, of what springs with every month,
15 az ősi hegyek csúcsának kincseivel, az örök halmok gyümölcseivel,	15 the first-fruits of the ancient mountains, the best from the hil s of old
16 s a föld termésével, bőségével. Annak az áldása, aki megjelent a csipkebokorban, szálljon József fejére, testvérei közt megkoronázott feje tetejére.	16 the best of the land and al it holds, the favour of him who dwells in the Bush. May the hair grow thickon the head of Joseph, on the brow of the consecrated one among his brothers!

18 Zebulonra vonatkozólag ezt mondta: »Örvendj, Zebulon, kijáratodnak, és Isszakár a sátraidnak.	18 Of Zebulun he said: Prosper, Zebulun, in your expeditions, and you, Issachar, in your tents!
19 Ők népeket hívnak meg a hegyre, ahol igaz áldozatokat mutatnak be. Mint a tejet, nyelik a tengerek árját s a föveny rejtett kincseit.«	19 On the mountain where the people come to pray they offer upright sacrifices, for they taste the richesof the seas and the treasures hidden in the sands.
20 Gádra vonatkozólag ezt mondta: »Áldott Gád, mert földje terjedelmes, mint az oroszlán, leheveredett, kart és koponyát megszerzett.	20 Of Gad he said: Blessed be he who gives Gad space enough! He lies there like a lioness; he hassavaged arm and face and head.
21 Fejedelmi helyet szemelt ki magának, mert az ő részén került sírba Izraelnek tanítója. de azért ő kitartott a nép vezérei mellett, és teljesítette az Úr igazságos parancsát s a rá vonatkozó ítéletet, elkísérve Izraelt.«	21 Then he took the first portion for himself, saw that there was stored up for him a leader's share. 23 Naftalira vonatkozólag ezt mondta: »Naftali bőségben fog dúslakodni, telve az Úr áldásaival, nyugatot s délt fogja bírni.«	23 Of Naphtali he said: Naphtali, sated with favours, fil ed with the blessings of Yahweh: the west andsouth are to be his domain.
24 Áserre vonatkozólag ezt mondta: »Áldott Áser a fiúk között, kedves legyen a testvérei előtt. Mártsa a lábát olajba,	24 Of Asher he said: Most blessed of the sons let Asher be! Let him be the most privileged of hisbrothers and let him bathe his feet in oil!
25 vasból és ércből legyen a saruja. Aggkorod is olyan legyen, mint amilyen ifjúkorod!«	25 Be your bolts of iron and of bronze and your security as lasting as your days!
26 »Nincs más olyan Isten, mint az Igaznak Istene, az égre száll fel a te segítőd, fenségétől szétfutnak a felhők,	26 No one is like the God of Jeshurun: he rides the heavens to your rescue, rides the clouds in hismajesty!
27 lakóhelye fent van, örökkévaló karja alant. Színed elől elűzi az ellent és azt mondja neki: ‘Pusztulj innen!’	27 The God of old is your refuge, his the eternal arm which here below drives the enemy before you; heit is who says, 'Destroy!'
28 Biztonságban lakik majd Izrael, egymagában Jákob szemefénye, gabonának s bornak földjén, ahol harmattól párás az ég.	28 Israel rests trustfully. The well-spring of Jacob is chosen out for a land of corn and wine; thereheaven itself rains down dew.
29 Boldog vagy, Izrael, ki hasonló hozzád? Nép, amelyet oltalmaz az Úr, a te segítő pajzsod és diadalmas kardod. Hízelegni fognak neked ellenségeid s te a nyakukra hágsz.«	29 Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you, O victorious people? Yahweh is the shield that protectsyou and the sword that leads you to triumph. Your enemies wil try to corrupt you, but you yourself wil trample ontheir backs.
