1 Így szólt az Úr Mózeshez:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 »Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik: Ha majd bejuttok lakóföldetekre, amelyet én nektek adok	2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have arrived in the country where you are to live andwhich I am giving to you,
3 és szarvasmarhából vagy aprómarhából egészen elégő áldozatul vagy vágóáldozatul tűzáldozatot készítetek az Úrnak, akár fogadalmat róttok le, akár jószántotokból mutattok be áldozatot, akár ünnepeiteken gyújtotok kellemes illatot az Úrnak,	3 and you burn food as an offering to Yahweh either as a burnt offering or as a sacrifice, whether inpayment of a vow, or as a voluntary gift, or on the occasion of one of your solemn feasts, from your herds andflocks as a smel pleasing to Yahweh:

9 három tized lisztlángot adj bikánként, egy fél hín mennyiségű olajjal meghintve,	9 in addition to the animal you wil offer a cereal offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixedwith half a hin of oil,
10 italáldozatul pedig ugyanennyi mennyiségű bort, kellemes illatú tűzáldozatul az Úrnak.	10 and you wil offer a libation of half a hin of wine, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.
11 Így cselekedjél bikánként, kosonként, bárányonként vagy gödölyénként.	11 This wil be done for every bul , every ram, every lamb or kid.
12 Aszerint, hogy mennyi áldozatot mutattok be, ezt kell mindig tennetek.	12 Whatever the number of victims you intend to offer, you wil do the same for each of them, howevermany there are.
13 Minden bennszülött ugyanazzal a szertartással mutassa be az égőáldozatot kedves illatul az Úrnak.	13 "Every citizen of the country wil act in this way whenever he offers food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh;
14 És minden jövevény, aki veletek lakik vagy köztetek tartózkodik nemzedékről nemzedékre, az égőáldozatot ugyanúgy mutassa be kellemes illatul az Úrnak, ahogyan ti.	14 and if an alien residing with you or with your descendants intends to offer food burnt as a smelpleasing to Yahweh, he wil do as you do.
15 Egy törvény s egy rendelet legyen számotokra is, a föld jövevénye számára is.«	15 There wil be one law for you, members of the community, and the resident alien alike, a law bindingyour descendants for ever: before Yahweh you and the resident alien are no different.'
16 Így szólt továbbá az Úr Mózeshez:	16 One law, one statute, wil apply for you and the resident alien." '
17 »Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik:	17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
18 Ha majd eljuttok arra a földre, amelyet én nektek adok,	18 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have entered the country to which I am bringing you,
19 és esztek annak az országnak a kenyeréből, adjatok adományt az Úrnak	19 you wil set a portion aside for Yahweh when you eat that country's bread.
20 étketekből. Mint ahogy a szérűről adtok adományt,	20 You wil set one cake aside as the first-fruits of your dough; you will set this offering aside like theone set aside from your threshing.

25 A pap aztán könyörögjön Izrael fiainak egész közösségéért, s ők bocsánatot nyernek, minthogy nem szántszándékkal követték el a bűnt és bemutatták a tűzáldozatot az Úrnak magukért, bűnükért és tévedésükért;	25 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation for the entire community of Israelites, and they wil beforgiven, since it was an inadvertence. Once they have brought their offering as food burnt for Yahweh, and havepresented their sacrifice for sin before Yahweh to make amends for their inadvertence,
26 bocsánatot nyer Izrael fiainak egész népe s a közöttük tartózkodó jövevény, mert az egész népet terheli a tudatlanságból elkövetett bűn.	26 the whole community of Israelites wil be forgiven, as also the alien residing with them, since theentire people acted by inadvertence.
27 Hogyha egy személy követ el tudtán kívül bűnt, mutasson be egy egyesztendős nőstény kecskét bűnéért,	27 "If it is an individual who has sinned by inadvertence, he wil offer a yearling kid as a sacrifice for sin.
28 s a pap esedezzék érte, mert tudtán kívül bűnt követett el az Úr előtt, s eszközölje ki neki a bocsánatot, s ő bocsánatot nyer.	28 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation before Yahweh for the person who has gone astray owingto this sin of inadvertence and, expiation having been made for him, he will be forgiven;
29 Bennszülöttnek, jövevénynek, egy törvénye legyen mindenkinek, aki tudtán kívül követ el bűnt.	29 whether he is an Israelite citizen or a resident alien, you wil have one law for anyone who sins byinadvertence.
30 Aki azonban kevélységből követ el valamit, akár bennszülött, akár idegen (minthogy lázadt az Úr ellen), vesszen el népéből;	30 "But the individual who acts deliberately, be he citizen or alien, commits an outrage against Yahweh,and such a man wil be outlawed from his people.
31 mivel az Úr szavát megvetette, s parancsát megszegte, azért irtassék ki: viselje gonoszságát.«	31 Since he has treated Yahweh's word with contempt and has disobeyed his order, such a man wil beoutlawed absolutely and wil bear the consequences of his guilt." '
32 Történt pedig, hogy amikor Izrael fiai a pusztában voltak, rajtakaptak egy embert, hogy fát szedeget a szombat napján.	32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was caught gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33 Erre elvitték őt Mózeshez és Áronhoz meg az egész közösséghez.	33 Those who caught him gathering wood brought him before Moses, Aaron and the whole community.
34 Azok tömlöcbe zárták, mert nem tudták, mit kell vele tenniük.	34 He was kept in custody, because the penalty he should undergo had not yet been fixed.
35 Azt mondta ekkor az Úr Mózesnek: »Halállal lakoljon az az ember: kövezze meg az egész nép a táboron kívül.«	35 Yahweh said to Moses, 'This man must be put to death. The whole community will stone him outsidethe camp.'
36 Ki is vitték és halálra kövezték, amint az Úr megparancsolta Mózesnek.	36 The whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him til he was dead, as Yahweh hadordered Moses.
37 Azt mondta továbbá az Úr Mózesnek:	37 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
38 »Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik, hogy csináljanak maguknak felsőruhájuk sarkaira bojtokat, azokra pedig tegyenek egy-egy kékszínű zsinórt.	38 'Speak to the Israelites and tell them, for all generations to come, to put tassels on the hems of theirclothes and work a violet thread into the tassel at the hem.
39 Ha ezeket látják, emlékezzenek meg az Úr minden parancsáról és ne kövessék gondolataikat és szemüket, amelyek oly sokféle dologban paráználkodnak,	39 You wil thus have a tassel, and the sight of it wil remind you of al Yahweh's orders and how youare to put them into practice, and not follow the dictates of your own heart and eyes, which have led you to beunfaithful.
40 hanem inkább emlékezzenek meg az Úr parancsairól, s tegyék meg azokat, s legyenek szentek Istenüknek.	40 'This wil remind you of all my orders; put them into practice, and you wil be consecrated to yourGod.
41 Én, az Úr, vagyok a ti Istenetek, aki kihoztalak titeket Egyiptom földjéről, hogy Istenetek legyek«.	41 I, Yahweh your God, have brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh your God.'
