KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Azon a napon majd ezt az éneket éneklik Júda földjén: »Erős városunk van nekünk, oltalmul szolgál kőfal és bástya.	1 That day, this song wil be sung in Judah: 'We have a fortress city, the wal s and ramparts providesafety.
2 Nyissátok ki a kapukat, hadd vonuljon be az igaz nemzet, mely megtartja a hűséget!	2 Open the gates! Let the upright nation come in, the nation that keeps faith!
3 Szándéka szilárd: megőrzöd a békét, a békét, mert benned bízik.	3 This is the plan decreed: you wil guarantee peace, the peace entrusted to you.
4 Bízzatok az Úrban örökkön örökké, mert az Úr örök Kőszikla!	4 Trust in Yahweh for ever, for Yahweh is a rock for ever.

7 Az igaznak ösvénye egyenes, Uram, az igaznak útját te egyengeted.	7 The path of the Upright One is honesty; you smooth the honest way of the upright.
8 Ítéleteid ösvényén is terád vártunk, Uram, nevedre és emlékezetedre vágyódott a lelkünk.	8 Fol owing the path of your judgements, Yahweh, we set our hopes in you, your name, your memory areal our soul desires.
9 Lelkem utánad vágyódik éjszaka, és bensőmben a lelkem téged keres. Mert ha ítéleteid megvalósulnak a földön, igazságot tanulnak a földkerekség lakói.	9 At night my soul longs for you and my spirit within me seeks you out; for when your judgements appearon earth the inhabitants of the world learn what saving justice is.
10 Ha kegyelmet kap is az istentelen, nem tanul igazságot; az igazság földjén gonoszul cselekszik, és nem látja az Úr fenségét.	10 If pity is shown to the wicked without his learning what saving justice is, he wil act wrongly in the landof right conduct and not see the majesty of Yahweh.
11 Uram, felemelkedett a kezed, de nem látják; lássák meg szégyenkezve féltő szereteted néped iránt! Bizony, az ellenségeidnek készített tűz megemészti őket.	11 Yahweh, your hand is raised but they do not see! The antagonists of your people will look and growpale; with your fiery wrath you wil devour your enemies.
12 Uram, te adsz nekünk békességet, mert minden tettünket te vitted végbe nekünk.	12 Yahweh, you wil grant us peace, having completed al our undertakings for us.
13 Urunk, Istenünk, noha mások uralkodtak rajtunk, nem te, mi azért egyedül téged, a te nevedet emlegetjük.	13 Yahweh our God, other lords than you have ruled us but, loyal to you alone, we invoke your name.
14 A halottak nem élnek, az árnyak nem támadnak fel: ezért látogattad meg és pusztítottad el őket, és eltörölted minden emléküket.	14 The dead wil not come back to life, the shadows wil not rise again, for you have punished them,annihilated them, wiping out their very memory.
15 Megsokasítottad a nemzetet, Uram, megsokasítottad a nemzetet, megdicsőítetted magad; kiterjesztetted az ország minden határát.	15 You have made the nation larger, Yahweh, made the nation larger and won yourself glory, you haverol ed back the frontiers of the country.
16 Uram, a szorongatásban téged kerestek, imát suttogtak, mikor fenyítetted őket.	16 Yahweh, in distress they had recourse to you, they expended themselves in prayer, since yourpunishment was on them.
17 Mint a terhes asszony, aki közel van a szüléshez, vajúdik és kiált fájdalmában, olyanok voltunk mi színed előtt, Uram.	17 As a pregnant woman near her time of delivery writhes and cries out in her pangs, so have we been,Yahweh, in your eyes:
18 Fogantunk, vajúdtunk, mintegy szelet szültünk; szabadulást nem szereztünk az országnak, és nem születtek lakói a földnek.	18 we have been pregnant, we have writhed, but we have given birth only to wind: we have not givensalvation to the earth, no inhabitants for the world have been brought to birth.
19 Életre kelnek majd halottaid, holttestük feltámad. Ébredjetek és ujjongjatok, akik a porban laktok! Mert világosság harmata a te harmatod, és a föld újjászüli az árnyakat.	19 Your dead will come back to life, your corpses wil rise again. Wake up and sing, you dwel ers in thedust, for your dew wil be a radiant dew, but the earth will give birth to the shades.
20 Indulj, népem, menj be szobádba, és zárd magadra ajtódat, rejtőzz el egy rövid pillanatra, míg el nem múlik a harag!	20 Go, my people, go to your private room, shut yourselves in. Hide yourselves a little while until theretribution has passed.
21 Mert íme, az Úr kilép lakóhelyéről, hogy meglátogassa a föld lakóit bűnük miatt; a föld megmutatja a vérüket, és nem takarja be többé a megölteket.«	21 For see, Yahweh emerges from his dwel ing to punish the inhabitants of earth for their guilt; and theearth will reveal the blood shed on it and no longer hide its slain.
