KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Restelld továbbadni a hallott szót, és feltárni a titkos beszédet, akkor megvan benned a helyes szégyenérzés, és tetszésre találsz minden ember előtt. De kicsit se szégyelld a következőket, és senki kedvéért ne vétkezzél:	1 The fol owing things you should not be ashamed of, and do not sin from fear of what others think:
2 a Magasságbeli törvényét és rendelkezését, az igazságosságot, hogy felmentsd a gonoszt,	2 of the Law of the Most High or of the covenant, of a verdict that acquits the godless,
3 az elszámolást társakkal és utasokkal, az osztozkodást barátaiddal az örökségen,	3 of keeping accounts with a travelling companion, of settling property on your friends,
4 a pontosságot mérlegben és súlyban, a keresetet, legyen az sok vagy kevés,	4 of being accurate over scales and weights, of making small and large profits,

Keep a sharp look-out that she does not make you the laughing-stock ofyour enemies, the talk of the town, the object of common gossip, and put you to public shame.
12 Ne nézd senkinek szépségét, és ne időzz asszonyok között,	12 Do not stare at any man for his good looks, do not sit down with women;
13 mert a ruhából jön elő a moly, s az asszonyból a férfi rosszasága.	13 for moth comes out of clothes, and woman's spite out of woman.
14 Jobb a férfi keménysége az asszony kedvességénél, az ocsmány asszony pedig gyalázattá válik.	14 Better a man's spite than a woman's kindness: women give rise to shame and reproach.
15 Hadd emlékezzem meg az Úr műveiről, és hadd hirdessem azt, amit láttam! Az Úr szava által lettek az ő alkotásai.	15 Next, I shal remind you of the works of the Lord, and tel of what I have seen. By the words of the Lordhis works come into being and all creation obeys his wil .
16 Miként a tündöklő nap beragyogja a mindenséget, úgy telik be az Úr dicsőségével az ő alkotása.	16 The shining sun looks down on al things, and the work of the Lord is full of his glory.
17 Nemde az Úr a szentek által hirdeti minden csodatettét? A mindenható Úr erőt adott nekik, hogy megállhassanak dicsősége előtt!	17 The Lord has not granted the Holy Ones the power to tell of all his marvels which the Almighty Lordhas solidly constructed for the universe to stand firm in his glory.
18 Kifürkészi a tenger mélységét és az emberek szívét, átlát az ő furfangjukon,	18 He has fathomed both the abyss and the human heart and seen into their devious ways; for the MostHigh knows all there is to know and sees the signs of the times.

21 Ékessé tette bölcsessége remekműveit, aki öröktől fogva örökké van. Nincs ahhoz sem hozzátenni,	21 He has embellished the magnificent works of his wisdom, he is from everlasting to everlasting, nothingcan be added to him, nothing taken away, he needs no one's advice.
22 sem attól elvenni való, és nem szorul ő senki tanácsára.	22 How lovely, all his works, how dazzling to the eye!
23 Mily gyönyörű minden műve, pedig csak szikrányi az, amit látni lehet!	23 They all live and last for ever, and, whatever the circumstances, al obey.
24 Mindezek élnek és örökké megmaradnak, és bármikor szükséges, mindegyik szót fogad neki,	24 Al things go in pairs, by opposites, he has not made anything imperfect:
