Zechariah 12

DOUAI-RHEIMS	JERUSALEM
1 The burden of the word of the Lord upon Israel. Thus saith the Lord, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundations of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man in him :	1 Proclamation. Parole de Yahvé sur Israël
2 Behold I will make Jerusalem a lintel of surfeiting to all the people round about: and Juda also shall be in the siege against Jerusalem.	2 (et aussi sur Juda). Oracle de Yahvé qui a tendu les cieux et fondé la terre, qui a formé l'esprit del'homme au-dedans de lui. Voici que moi je fais de Jérusalem une coupe de vertige pour tous les peuplesalentour. (Cela sera lors du siège contre Jérusalem.)
3 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone to all people: all that shall lift it up shall be rent and torn, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall be gathered together against her.	3 Il arrivera en ce jour-là que je ferai de Jérusalem une pierre à soulever pour tous les peuples, ettous ceux qui la soulèveront se blesseront grièvement. Et contre elle se rassembleront toutes les nations de laterre.
4 In that day, saith the Lord, I will strike every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open my eyes upon the house of Juda, and will strike every horse of the nations with blindness.	4 En ce jour-là - oracle de Yahvé - je frapperai tous les chevaux de confusion, et leurs cavaliers defolie. Et je frapperai de cécité tous les peuples. (Mais sur la maison de Juda j'ouvrirai les yeux.)
5 And the governors of Juda shall say in their heart: Let the inhabitants of Jerusalem be strengthened for me in the Lord of hosts, their God.	5 Alors les chefs de Juda diront en leur coeur: "La force pour les habitants de Jérusalem est enYahvé Sabaot, leur Dieu."
6 In that day I will make the governors of Juda like a furnace of fire amongst wood, and as a firebrand amongst hay: and they shall devour all the people round about, to the right hand, and to the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place in Jerusalem.	6 En ce jour-là, je ferai des chefs de Juda comme un brasier allumé dans un tas de bois, comme unetorche allumée dans une gerbe. Ils dévoreront à droite et à gauche tous les peuples alentour. Et Jérusalem seraencore habitée en son lieu (à Jérusalem).
7 And the Lord shall save the tabernacles of Juda, as in the beginning: that the house of David, and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, may not boast and magnify themselves against Juda.	7 Yahvé sauvera tout d'abord les tentes de Juda pour que la fierté de la maison de David et celle del'habitant de Jérusalem ne s'exaltent aux dépens de Juda.
8 In that day shall the Lord protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he that hath offended among them in that day shall be as David: and the house of David, as that of God, as an angel of the Lord in their sight.	8 En ce jour-là, Yahvé protégera l'habitant de Jérusalem; celui d'entre eux qui chancelle seracomme David en ce jour-là, et la maison de David sera comme Dieu, comme l'Ange de Yahvé devant eux.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.	9 Il arrivera en ce jour-là que je chercherai à détruire toutes les nations qui viendront contreJérusalem.
10 And I will pour out upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace, and of prayers: and they shall look upon me, whom they have pierced: and they shall mourn for him as one mourneth for an only son, and they shall grieve over him, as the manner is to grieve for the death of the firstborn.	10 Mais je répandrai sur la maison de David et sur l'habitant de Jérusalem un esprit de grâce et desupplication, et ils regarderont vers moi. Celui qu'ils ont transpercé, ils se lamenteront sur lui comme on selamente sur un fils unique; ils le pleureront comme on pleure un premier-né.
11 In that day there shall be a great lamentation in Jerusalem like the lamentation of Adadremmon in the plain of Mageddon.	11 En ce jour-là grandira la lamentation dans Jérusalem, comme la lamentation de Hadad Rimmôn,dans la plaine de Megiddôn.
12 And the land shall mourn: families and families apart: the families of the house of David apart, and their women apart:	12 Et il se lamentera, le pays, clan par clan. Le clan de la maison de David à part, avec leursfemmes à part. Le clan de la maison de Natân à part, avec leurs femmes à part.
13 The families of the house of Nathan apart, and their women apart: the families of the house of Levi apart, and their women apart: the families of Semei apart, and their women apart.	13 Le clan de la maison de Lévi à part, avec leurs femmes à part. Le clan de la maison de Shiméï àpart, avec leurs femmes à part.
14 All the rest of the families, families and families apart, and their women apart.	14 Et tous les clans, ceux qui restent, clan par clan à part, avec leurs femmes à part.
