Leviticus 14

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Yahveh habló a Moisés diciendo:
2 This is the rite of a leper, when he is to be cleansed: he shall be brought to the priest:	2 Esta es la ley que ha de aplicarse al leproso en el día de su purificación. Se le conducirá al sacerdote,
3 Who going out of the camp when he shall And that the leprosy is cleansed,	3 y el sacerdote saldrá fuera del campamento; si, tras de haberlo examinado, comprueba que el leproso está ya curado de la llaga de lepra,
4 Shall command him that is to be purified, to offer for himself two living sparrows, which it is lawful to eat, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.	4 el sacerdote mandará traer para el que ha de ser purificado dos pájaros vivos y puros, madera de cedro, púrpura escarlata e hisopo.
5 And he shall command one of the sparrows to be immolated in an earthen vessel over living waters:	5 Después mandará inmolar uno de los pájaros sobre una vasija de barro con agua viva.
6 But the other that is alive he shall dip, with the cedar wood, and the scarlet and the hyssop, in the blood of the sparrow that is immolated:	6 Tomará luego el pájaro vivo, la madera de cedro, la púrpura escarlata y el hisopo, los mojará, juntamente con el pájaro vivo, en la sangre del pájaro inmolado sobre el agua viva,
7 Wherewith he shall sprinkle him that is to be cleansed seven times, that he may be rightly purified: and he shall let go the living sparrow, that it may fly into the field.	7 y rociará siete veces al que ha de ser purificado de la lepra. Y, tras de declararlo puro, soltará en el campo el pájaro vivo.
8 And when the man hath washed his clothes, he shall shave all the hair of his body, and shall be washed with water: and being purified, he shall enter into the camp, yet so that he tarry without his own tent seven days:	8 El que se purifica lavará sus vestidos, se afeitará todo su pelo, se bañará en agua, y quedará limpio. Después podrá entrar en el campamento; pero durante siete días ha de habitar fuera de su tienda.
9 And on the seventh day he shall shave the hair of his head, and his beard and his eyebrows, and the hair of all his body. And having washed again his clothes, and his body,	9 El día séptimo se afeitará todo su pelo, su cabellera, su barba, sus cejas, es decir, se afeitará todo su pelo, lavará también sus vestidos, bañará su cuerpo en agua y quedará limpio.
10 On the eighth day he shall take two lambs without blemish, and an ewe of a year old without blemish, and three tenths of flour tempered with oil for a sacrifice, and a sextary of oil apart.	10 El día octavo tomará dos corderos sin defecto y una cordera de un año sin defecto; y como oblación, tres décimas de flor de harina amasada con aceite y un cuartillo de aceite.
11 And when the priest that purifieth the man, hath presented him, and all these things before the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony,	11 El sacerdote que hace la purificación presentará ante Yahveh, junto con todas esas cosas, al hombre que ha de purificarse, a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
12 He shall take a. lamb, and offer it for a trespass offering with the sextary of oil: and having offered all before the Lord,	12 El sacerdote tomará uno de los corderos para ofrecerlo como sacrificio de reparación, además del cuartillo de aceite, y lo mecerá como ofrenda ante Yahveh.
13 He shall immolate the lamb, where the victim for sin is wont to be immolated, and the holocaust, that is, in the holy place: for as that which is for sin, so also the victim for a trespass offering pertaineth to the priest: it is holy of holies.	13 Luego inmolará el cordero en el lugar donde se inmola el sacrificio por el pecado y el holocausto, en lugar sagrado; porque, tanto en el sacrificio por el pecado como en el sacrificio de reparación, la víctima pertenece al sacerdote; es cosa sacratísima.
14 And the priest taking of the blood of the victim that was immolated for trespass, shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand and the great toe of his right foot:	14 Después el sacerdote tomará sangre de la víctima de reparación y mojará el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se está purificando, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho.
15 And he shall pour of the sextary of oil into his own left. hand,	15 Y, tomando del cuartillo de aceite, el sacerdote echará parte de él sobre la palma de su mano izquierda.
16 And shall dip his right finger in it, and sprinkle it before the Lord seven times.	16 Después untará un dedo de su mano derecha en el aceite que tiene en la palma de su mano izquierda, y con su dedo hará siete aspersiones de aceite delante de Yahveh.
17 And the rest of the oil in his left band, he shall pour upon the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand and the great toe of his right foot, and upon the blood that was shed for trespass,	17 Con el aceite restante que tiene en su mano el sacerdote untará el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se purifica, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho sobre la sangre de la víctima de reparación.
18 And upon his head.	18 El resto del aceite que quede en la mano del sacerdote, se echará sobre la cabeza del que se purifica. El sacerdote expiará así por él ante Yahveh.
19 And he shall pray for him before the Lord, and shall offer the sacrifice for sin: then shall he immolate the holocaust,	19 El sacerdote ofrecerá el sacrificio por el pecado y hará expiación por el que se purifica de su impureza; después inmolará el holocausto.
20 And put it on the altar with the libations thereof, and the man shall be rightly cleansed.	20 Y ofrecerá sobre el altar el holocausto y la oblación. De esta manera el sacerdote hará expiación por él y quedará limpio.
21 But if he be poor, and his hand cannot find the things aforesaid: he shall take a lamb for an offering for trespass, that the priest may pray for him, and a tenth part of hour tempered with oil for a sacrifice, and a sextary of oil,	21 Si es pobre y no tiene suficientes recursos, tomará un cordero como sacrificio de reparación, como ofrenda mecida, para hacer expiación por él, y además, como oblación, una décima de flor de harina amasada con aceite, un cuartillo de aceite,
22 And two turtles or two young pigeons, of which one may be for sin, and the other for a holocaust:	22 y dos tórtolas o dos pichones, según sus recursos, uno como sacrificio por el pecado, y otro como holocausto.
23 And he shall offer them on the eighth day of his purification to the priest, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony before the Lord.	23 Al octavo día, los llevará al sacerdote, a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro para su purificación delante de Yahveh.
24 And the priest receiving the lamb for trespass, and the sextary of oil, shall elevate them together.	24 El sacerdote tomará el cordero del sacrificio de reparación y el cuartillo de aceite, y los mecerá como ofrenda ante Yahveh.
25 And the lamb being immolated, he shall put of the blood thereof upon the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and the great toe of his right foot:	25 Después de haber inmolado el cordero del sacrificio de reparación, el sacerdote tomará sangre de la víctima de reparación y mojará el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se purifica, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho.
26 But he shall pour part of the oil into his own left hand,	26 Luego derramará parte del aceite sobre la palma de su mano izquierda;
27 And dipping the finger of his right hand in it, he shall sprinkle it seven times before the Lord:	27 con un dedo de su mano derecha hará ante Yahveh siete aspersiones con el aceite que tiene en la palma de la mano izquierda,
28 And he shall touch the tip of the right ear of him that is cleansed, and the thumb of his right hand and the great toe of his right foot, in the place of the blood that was shed for trespass.	28 untará con el aceite que tiene en su mano el lóbulo de la oreja derecha del que se purifica, el pulgar de su mano derecha y el de su pie derecho, en el lugar donde puso la sangre de la víctima de reparación.
29 And the other part of the oil that is in his left hand, he shall pour upon the head of the purified person, that he may appease the Lord for him.	29 Derramará el resto del aceite que le quede en la mano sobre la cabeza del que se purifica, haciendo expiación por él ante Yahveh.
30 And he shall offer a turtle, or young pigeon,	30 Luego ofrecerá, conforme a los recursos suyos, una de las tórtolas o de los pichones,
31 One for trespass, and the other for a holocaust, with their libations.	31 es decir, lo que alcanzan sus recursos, uno como sacrificio por el pecado, y otro como holocausto, además de la oblación. De este modo el sacerdote hará expiación ante Yahveh por aquel que se purifica.
32 This is the sacrifice of a leper, that is not able to have all things that appertain to his cleansing.	32 Esta es la ley de purificación para aquel que tiene llaga de lepra y cuyos recursos son limitados.
33 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:	33 Yahveh habló a Moisés y a Aarón diciendo:
34 When you shall be come into the land of Chanaan, which I will give you for a possession, if there be the plague of leprosy in a house,	34 Cuando hayáis entrado en la tierra de Canaán que yo os doy en posesión, y castigue con lepra alguna de las casas de la tierra que poseeréis,
35 He whose house it is, shall go and tell the priest, saying: It seemeth to me, that there is the plague of leprosy in my house,	35 el propietario de la casa irá a avisar al sacerdote, diciendo: «Ha aparecido algo como lepra en mi casa.»
36 And he shall command, that they carry forth all things out of the house, before he go into it, and see whether it have the leprosy, lest all things become unclean that are in the house. And afterwards he shall go in to view the leprosy of the house.	36 El sacerdote, antes de entrar en la casa para examinar la lepra, ordenará que desocupen la casa, para que nada quede inmundo de cuanto hay en ella. Después entrará el sacerdote a examinar la casa.
37 And if he see in the walls thereof as it were little dints, disfigured with paleness or redness, and lower than all the rest,	37 Si al examinarla observa que la mancha forma en las paredes de la casa cavidades verdosas y rojizas que parecen hundidas en la pared,
38 He shall go out of the door of the house, and forthwith shut it up seven days,	38 el sacerdote saldrá a la puerta de la casa y la cerrará durante siete días.
39 And returning on the seventh day, he shall look upon it. If he find that the leprosy is spread,	39 Volverá al día séptimo, y si comprueba que la mancha se ha extendido por las paredes de la casa,
40 He shall command, that the stones wherein the leprosy is, be taken out, and cast without the city into an unclean place:	40 mandará arrancar las piedras manchadas y arrojarlas fuera de la ciudad en un lugar inmundo.
41 And that the house be scraped on the inside round about, and the dust of the scraping be scattered without the city into an unclean place:	41 Hará raspar todo el interior de la casa; y echarán fuera de la ciudad, en un lugar inmundo, el polvo que hayan quitado.
42 And that other stones be laid in the place of them that were taken away, and the house be plastered with other mortar.	42 Luego tomarán otras piedras y las pondrán en lugar de las primeras; y también argamasa nueva para revocar la casa.
43 But if, after the stones be taken out, and the dust scraped off, and it be plastered with other earth,	43 Si la mancha vuelve a extenderse por la casa después de haber arrancado las piedras, y de haberla raspado y revocado,
44 The priest going in perceive that the leprosy is returned, and the walls full of spots, it is a lasting leprosy, and the house is unclean:	44 el sacerdote entrará de nuevo; y si comprueba que la mancha se ha extendido por la casa, hay un caso de lepra maligna en la casa, y ésta es impura.
45 And they shall destroy it forthwith, and shall cast the stones and timber thereof, and all the dust without the town into an unclean place.	45 Se derribará la casa. Sus piedras, sus maderas y todo el material de la casa será sacado fuera de la ciudad a un lugar inmundo.
46 He that entereth into the house when it is shut, shall be unclean until evening,	46 Quien entre en esa casa durante el tiempo que esté clausurada quedará impuro hasta la tarde.
47 And he that sleepeth in it, and eateth any thing, shall wash his clothes.	47 El que duerma en ella habrá de lavar sus vestidos; y también el que coma en ella habrá de lavarlos.
48 But if the priest going in perceive that the leprosy is not spread in the house, after it was plastered again, he shall purify it, it being cured,	48 Mas si el sacerdote comprueba al entrar que, después de revocada la casa, la mancha no se ha extendido por ella, la declarará pura, pues se ha curado del mal.
49 And for the purification thereof he shall take two sparrows, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:	49 Entonces, para ofrecer por la casa un sacrificio por el pecado, tomará dos pájaros, madera de cedro, púrpura escarlata e hisopo;
50 And having immolated one sparrow In an earthen vessel over living waters,	50 inmolará uno de los pájaros sobre una vasija de barro con agua viva
51 He shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living sparrow, and shall dip all in the blood of the sparrow that is immolated, and in the living water, and he shall sprinkle the house seven times:	51 y, tomando la madera de cedro, el hisopo y la púrpura escarlata, con el pájaro vivo, los mojará en la sangre del pájaro degollado y en el agua viva; y rociará la casa siete veces.
52 And shall purify it as well with the blood of the sparrow, as with the living water, and with the living sparrow, and with the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet.	52 Y, tras haber realizado el sacrificio por el pecado en favor de la casa con la sangre del pájaro, con el agua viva, el pájaro vivo, la madera de cedro, el hisopo y la lana escarlata,
53 And when he hath let go the sparrow to fly freely away into the field, he shall pray for the house, and it shall be rightly cleansed.	53 soltará el pájaro vivo fuera de la ciudad, en el campo. De este modo hará expiación por la casa, la cual quedará pura.
54 This is the law of every kind of leprosy and stroke.	54 Esta es la ley para toda clase de lepra o de tiña,
55 Of the leprosy of garments and houses,	55 para la lepra del vestido y de la casa,
56 Of a scar and of blisters breaking out, of a shining spot, and when the colours are diversely changed:	56 para los tumores, erupciones y manchas blancas,
57 That it may be known when a thing is clean or unclean.	57 y para declarar los períodos de impureza y de pureza. Esta es la ley de la lepra.
