Leviticus 13

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:	1 Ed il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aronne, dicendo:
2 The man in whose skin or flesh shalt arise a different colour or a blister, or as it were something shining, that is, the stroke of the leprosy, shall be brought to Aaron the priest, or any one of his sons.	2 « L'uomo nella pelle e nella carne del quale apparirà diversità di colore, o pustole, o qualche cosa di lucido, cioè la piaga di lebbra, sarà condotto ad Aronne sacerdote o ad uno dei suoi figli.
3 And if he see the leprosy in his skin, and the hair turned white, and the place where the leprosy appears lower than the skin and the rest of the flesh: it is the stroke of the leprosy, and upon his judgment he shall be separated.	3 E questi esaminerà la lebbra nella pelle; e se i peli sono divenuti di color bianco, e la parte dove apparisce la lebbra è più profonda che il resto della pelle e della carne, è la piaga della lebbra: secondo la sua decisione quest'uomo sarà separato.
4 But if there be a shining whiteness in the skin, and not lower than the other flesh, and the hair be of the former colour, the priest shall shut him up seven days.	4 Se invece sulla, pelle vi sarà un candor luccicanti e non più affondato dal resto della carne,
5 And the seventh day he shall look on him: and if the leprosy be grown no farther, and hath not spread itself in the skin, he shall shut him up again other seven days.	5 e i peli saranno dei color naturale, il sacerdote lo rinchiuderà per sette giorni;
6 And on the seventh day, he shall look on him: if the leprosy be somewhat obscure, and not spread in the skin, he shall declare him clean, because it is but a scab: and the man shall wash his clothes, and shall be clean.	6 Al settimo lo esaminerà, e se la, lebbra si è fermata, e non si è allargata nella pelle, lo rinchiuderà per altri sette giorni, e settimo lo visiterà, e se la piaga sarà più scura e non si sarà dilatata sulla pelle, lo dichiarerà mondo, perchè ha la scabbia. Quel tale, lavate che abbia le sue vesti, sarà puro.
7 But if the leprosy grow again, after he was seen by the priest and restored to cleanness, he shall be brought to him,	7 Ma se, dopo essere stato visitato dal sacerdote e dichiarato mondo, la lebbra cresce di nuovo, egli sarà ricondotto a lui
8 And shall be condemned of uncleanness.	8 e dichiarato immondo.
9 If the stroke of the leprosy be in a man, he shall be brought to the priest,	9 Se uno avrà la piaga della lebbra, sarà condotto al sacerdote,
10 And he shall view him. And when there shall be a white colour in the skin, and it shall have changed the look of the hair, and the living flesh itself shall appear:	10 il quale lo visiterà, e se vi sarà il color bianco sulla pelle, e i capelli avran cambiato colore, e apparirà la stessa carne viva,
11 It shall be judged an inveterate leprosy, and grown into the skin. The priest therefore shall declare him unclean, and shall not shut him up, because he is evidently unclean.	11 la lebbra sarà giudicata inveteratissima e radicata nella pelle; quindi il sacerdote lo dichiarerà impuro, ma non lo rinchiuderà, perchè la sua immondezza è visibile.
12 But if the leprosy spring out running about in the skin, and cover all the skin from the head to the feet, whatsoever falleth under the sight of the eyes,	12 Se poi la lebbra si allarga, stendendosi sulla pelle, e la ricopre tutta dal capo ai piedi, in tutto quello che cade sotto gli occhi,
13 The priest shall view him, and shall judge that the leprosy which he has is very clean: because it is all turned into whiteness, and therefore the man shall be clean.	13 il sacerdote l'esaminerà e lo giudicherà affetto da lebbra benignissima, essendo essa divenuta tutta di color bianco, e perciò l'uomo sarà mondo.
14 But when the live flesh shall appear in him,	14 Ma se in lui apparirà la carne viva,
15 Then by the judgment of the priest he shall be defiled, and shall be reckoned among the unclean: for live flesh, if it be spotted with leprosy, is unclean.	15 allora, a giudizio del sacerdote, sarà dichiarato impuro, ed annoverato fra gl'immondi, perchè la carne viva intaccata dalia lebbra è immonda.
16 And if again it be turned into whiteness, and cover all the man,	16 Se poi essa divien di nuovo bianca e ricopre tutto l'uomo,
17 The priest shall view him, and shall judge him to be clean.	17 il sacerdote lo esaminerà e lo dichiarerà mondo.
18 When also there has been an ulcer in the flesh and the skin, and it has been healed,	18 Se poi nella carne e nella pelle è venuta un'ulcera che è guarita,
19 And in the place of the ulcer, there appeareth a white scar, or somewhat red, the man shall be brought to the priest:	19 ma nel posto dell'ulcera viene a comparire una cicatrice bianca, o tendente al rosso, l'uomo sarà menato al sacerdote,
20 And when he shall see the place of the leprosy lower than the other flesh, and the hair turned white, he shall declare him unclean, for the plague of leprosy is broken out in the ulcer.	20 il quale, se vede il luogo della lebbra più affondato del resto della carne, e i peli diventati bianchi, lo dichiarerà impuro: è infatti piaga di lebbra nata nell'ulcera.
21 But if the hair be of the former colour, and the scar somewhat obscure, and be not lower than the flesh that is near it, he shall shut him up seven days.	21 Ma se il pelo è del color naturale, la cicatrice un po' scura e non più profonda dell'altra carne, lo rinchiuderà per sette giorni.
22 And if it spread, he shall judge him to have the leprosy:	22 Se essa cresce, lo giudicherà lebbroso:
23 But if it stay in its place, it is but the scar of an ulcer, and the man shall be clean.	23 ma se non si allarga, è cicatrice dell'ulcera, e l'uomo sarà mondo.
24 The flesh also and skin that hath been burnt, and after it is healed hath a white or a red scar,	24 Se la carne o la pelle di uno che si è bruciato col fuoco, dopo esser guarita conserverà una cicatrice bianca o rossa,
25 The priest shall view it, and if he see it turned white, and the place thereof is lower than the other skin: he shall declare him unclean, because the evil of leprosy is broken out in the scar.	25 il sacerdote la esaminerà: se essa è divenuta bianca ed è più profonda del resto della pelle, l'uomo sarà dichiarato impuro, essendo questa piaga di lebbra formatasi nella cicatrice.
26 But if the colour of the hair be not changed, nor the blemish lower than the other flesh, and the appearance of the leprosy be somewhat obscure, he shall shut him up seven days,	26 Ma se il colore dei peli non è cambiato, la piaga non è più profonda del resto della carne, e la lebbra stessa apparisce un po' scura, lo rinchiuderà per sette giorni.
27 And on the seventh day he shall view him: if the leprosy be grown farther in the skin, he shall declare him unclean.	27 Al settimo lo esaminerà; se la lebbra è cresciuta sulla pelle, lo dichiarerà immondo;
28 But if the whiteness stay in its place, and be not very clear, it is the sore of a burning, and therefore he shall be cleansed, because it is only the scar of a burning.	28 ma se il color bianco è restato nel suo luogo, e non è abbastanza chiaro, è piaga di scottatura, e chi l'ha sarà dichiarato mondo, perchè la cicatrice è di scottatura.
29 If the leprosy break out in the head or the beard of a man or woman, the Priest shall see them,	29 Se un uomo o una donna ha la lebbra nel capo o nella barba, il sacerdote li esaminerà,
30 And if the place be lower than the other flesh, and the hair yellow, and thinner than usual: he shall declare them unclean, because it is the leprosy of the head and the beard;	30 se essa appare più profonda del resto della carne, se il pelo sarà gialliccio e più sottile del naturale, li dichiarerà impuri, perchè questa è lebbra del capo o della barba.
31 But if he perceive the place of the spot is equal with the flesh that is near it, and the hair black: he shall shut him up seven days,	31 Ma se vedrà che la parte macchiata è uguale alla carne vicina e il pelo è nero, lo rinchiuderà per sette giorni.
32 And on the seventh day he shall look upon it. If the spot be not grown, and the hair keep its colour, and the place of the blemish be even with the other flesh:	32 Al settimo lo visiterà: se la macchia non si è allargata, e il pelo ha conservato il suo colore, e la parte piagata è uguale al resto della carne,
33 The man shall be shaven all but the place of the spot, and he shall be shut up other seven days:	33 quella persona sarà rasa per tutto, fuorché nella parte macchiata, e verrà chiusa per altri sette giorni.
34 If on the seventh day the evil seem to have stayed in its place, and not lower than the other flesh, he shall cleanse him, and his clothes being washed he shall be clean.	34 Se al settimo giorno la piaga apparirà arrestata nel suo luogo e non più fonda del resto della carne, il sacerdote dichiarerà monda quella persona, che, lavate le sue vesti, sarà monda.
35 But if after his cleansing the spot spread again in the skin,	35 Ma se dopo tale dichiarazione, la macchia si dilata ancora sulla pelle,
36 He shall seek no more whether the hair be turned yellow, because he is evidently unclean.	36 non cercherà più se il pelo sia diventato gialliccio, perchè evidentemente la persona è immonda.
37 But if the spot be stayed, and the hair be black, let him know that the man is healed, and let him confidently pronounce him clean.	37 Se invece la macchia si arresta, ed i peli sono neri, riconosca che la persona è guarita e senza alcun timore la dichiari monda,.
38 If a whiteness appear in the skin of a man or a woman,	38 Un sacerdote visiterà l'uomo o la donna sulla pelle dei quali apparisca del candore,
39 The priest shall view them. If he find that a darkish whiteness shineth in the skin, let him know that it is not the leprosy, but a white blemish, and that the man is clean.	39 e se riscontrerà un bianco scuro rilucente sulla pelle, sappia che non è lebbra, ma una semplice macchia di color bianco, e che la persona è monda.
40 The man whose hair falleth off from his head, he is bald and clean:	40 L'uomo a cui cascano i capelli del capo è calvo, ma mondo;
41 And if the hair fall from his forehead, he is bald before and clean.	41 e se i capelli gli cascano di sopra la fronte, è calvo dalla fronte, ma mondo.
42 But if in the bald head or in the bald forehead there be risen a white or reddish colour,	42 Se invece nella calvizie del capo o di sopra la fronte spunta un color bianco o rosso,
43 And the priest perceive this, he shall condemn him undoubtedly of leprosy which is risen in the bald part.	43 il sacerdote che lo avrà veduto, senza alcun dubbio, la dichiarerà lebbra nata sulla parte calva.
44 Now whosoever shall be defiled with the leprosy, and is separated by the judgment of the priest,	44 Chi come infetto di lebbra sarà stato separato a giudizio del sacerdote,
45 Shall have his clothes hanging loose, his head bare, his mouth covered with a cloth, and he shall cry out that he is defiled and unclean.	45 avrà le vesti scucite, il capo nudo, e, coprendosi la bocca colla veste, andrà gridando che egli è contaminato e impuro.
46 All the time that he is a leper and unclean, he shall dwell alone without the camp.	46 Per tutto il tempo che sarà lebbroso e immondo, abiterà solo, fuori degli accampamenti.
47 A woollen or linen garment that shall have the leprosy	47 Se una veste di lana o di lino sarà infetta di lebbra
48 In the warp, and the woof, or a skin. or whatsoever is made of a skin,	48 nella trama o nell'ordito, se una pelle o qualunque altra cosa fatta di pelle
49 If it be infected with a white or red spot, it shall be accounted the leprosy, and shall be shewn to the priest.	49 sarà infetta di una macchia bianca o rossiccia, si reputerà lebbra, e si farà vedere al sacerdote,
50 And he shall look upon it and shall shut it up seven days:	50 il quale, dopo averla esaminata, la rinchiuderà per sette giorni.
51 And on the seventh day when he looketh on it again, if he find that it if grown, it is a Axed leprosy: he shall judge the garment unclean, and every thing wherein it shall be found:	51 Al settimo l'esaminerà di nuovo e se vedrà la macchia cresciuta, è lebbra maligna: giudicherà quindi immonda la veste e qualunque cosa sopra, di cui si trovi tale macchia,
52 And therefore it shall be burnt with fire.	52 perciò sarà data alle fiamme.
53 But if he see that it is not grown,	53 Ma se vedrà che la macchia non è cresciuta,
54 He shall give orders, and they shall wash that part wherein the leprosy is, and he shall shut it up other seven days.	54 farà lavare l'oggetto in cui apparisce la lebbra, e la rinchiuderà per altri sette giorni.
55 And when he shall see that the former colour is not returned, nor yet the leprosy spread, he shall judge it unclean, and shall burn it with fire, for the leprosy has taken hold of the outside of the garment, or through the whole.	55 Se vedrà che non ha ripreso il suo aspetto primitivo, sebbene la lebbra non sia cresciuta, giudicherà tal veste immonda e la darà alle fiamme, perchè la lebbra è già sparsa sulla superficie e nell'interno della veste.
56 But if the place of the leprosy be somewhat dark, after the garment is washed, he shall tear it off, and divide it from that which is sound.	56 Ma se, lavata la veste, il luogo dove era la lebbra resta più oscuro, lo strapperà e lo toglierà dalla veste.
57 And if after this there appear in those places that before were without spot, a flying and wandering leprosy: it must be burnt with fire.	57 Se poi, dopo questo, nelle parti che prima eran senza macchia comparirà una lebbra volatile e vaga, la veste devo darsi alle fiamme.
58 If it cease, he shall wash with water the parts that are pure, the second time, and they shall be clean.	58 Se scomparisce, laverà una, seconda volta le parti non infette, e saranno mondate.
59 This is the law touching the leprosy of any woollen or linen garment, either in the warp or woof, or any thing of skins, how it ought to be cleansed, or pronounced unclean.	59 Questa è la legge sulla lebbra della veste di lana e di lino, dell'ordito e dalla trama e d'ogni oggetto fatto di pelle, per dichiararli puri o impuri ».
