1 The man that with a stiff neck despiseth him that reproveth him, shall suddenly be destroyed: and health shall not follow him.	1 μη καυχω τα εις αυριον ου γαρ γινωσκεις τι τεξεται η επιουσα
2 When just men increase, the people shall rejoice: when the wicked shall bear rule, the people shall mourn.	2 εγκωμιαζετω σε ο πελας και μη το σον στομα αλλοτριος και μη τα σα χειλη
3 A man that loveth wisdom, rejoiceth his father: but he that maintaineth bar lots, shall squander away his substance.	3 βαρυ λιθος και δυσβαστακτον αμμος οργη δε αφρονος βαρυτερα αμφοτερων
4 A just king setteth up the land: a covetous man shall destroy it.	4 ανελεημων θυμος και οξεια οργη αλλ' ουδενα υφισταται ζηλος
5 A man that speaketh to his friend with flattering and dissembling words, spreadeth a net for his feet.	5 κρεισσους ελεγχοι αποκεκαλυμμενοι κρυπτομενης φιλιας
6 A snare shall entangle the wicked man when he sinneth: and the just shall praise and rejoice.	6 αξιοπιστοτερα εστιν τραυματα φιλου η εκουσια φιληματα εχθρου
7 The just taketh notice of the cause of the poor: the wicked is void of knowledge.	7 ψυχη εν πλησμονη ουσα κηριοις εμπαιζει ψυχη δε ενδεει και τα πικρα γλυκεια φαινεται
8 Corrupt men bring a city to ruin: but wise men turn away wrath.	8 ωσπερ οταν ορνεον καταπετασθη εκ της ιδιας νοσσιας ουτως ανθρωπος δουλουται οταν αποξενωθη εκ των ιδιων τοπων
9 If a wise man contend with a fool, whether he be angry or laugh, he shall find no rest.	9 μυροις και οινοις και θυμιαμασιν τερπεται καρδια καταρρηγνυται δε υπο συμπτωματων ψυχη
10 Bloodthirsty men hate the upright: but just men seek his soul.	10 φιλον σον η φιλον πατρωον μη εγκαταλιπης εις δε τον οικον του αδελφου σου μη εισελθης ατυχων κρεισσων φιλος εγγυς η αδελφος μακραν οικων
11 A fool uttereth all his mind: a wise man deferreth, and keepeth it till afterwards.	11 σοφος γινου υιε ινα ευφραινηται μου η καρδια και αποστρεψον απο σου επονειδιστους λογους
12 A prince that gladly heareth lying words, hath all his servants wicked.	12 πανουργος κακων επερχομενων απεκρυβη αφρονες δε επελθοντες ζημιαν τεισουσιν
13 The poor man and the creditor have met one another: the Lord is the enlightener of them both.	13 αφελου το ιματιον αυτου παρηλθεν γαρ υβριστης οστις τα αλλοτρια λυμαινεται
14 The king that judgeth the poor in truth, his throne shall be established for ever.	14 ος αν ευλογη φιλον το πρωι μεγαλη τη φωνη καταρωμενου ουδεν διαφερειν δοξει
15 The rod and reproof give wisdom: but the child that is left to his own will bringeth his mother to shame.	15 σταγονες εκβαλλουσιν ανθρωπον εν ημερα χειμερινη εκ του οικου αυτου ωσαυτως και γυνη λοιδορος εκ του ιδιου οικου
16 When the wicked are multiplied, crimes shall be multiplied: but the just shall see their downfall.	16 βορεας σκληρος ανεμος ονοματι δε επιδεξιος καλειται
17 Instruct thy son, and he shall refresh thee, and shall give delight to thy soul.	17 σιδηρος σιδηρον οξυνει ανηρ δε παροξυνει προσωπον εταιρου
18 When prophecy shall fail, the people shall be scattered abroad: but he that keepeth the law is blessed.	18 ος φυτευει συκην φαγεται τους καρπους αυτης ος δε φυλασσει τον εαυτου κυριον τιμηθησεται
19 A slave will not be corrected by words: because he understandeth what thou sayest, and will not answer.	19 ωσπερ ουχ ομοια προσωπα προσωποις ουτως ουδε αι καρδιαι των ανθρωπων
20 Hast thou seen a man hasty to speak? folly is rather to be looked for, than his amendment.	20 αδης και απωλεια ουκ εμπιμπλανται ωσαυτως και οι οφθαλμοι των ανθρωπων απληστοι [20α] βδελυγμα κυριω στηριζων οφθαλμον και οι απαιδευτοι ακρατεις γλωσση
21 He that nourisheth his servant delicately from his childhood, afterwards shall find him stubborn.	21 δοκιμιον αργυρω και χρυσω πυρωσις ανηρ δε δοκιμαζεται δια στοματος εγκωμιαζοντων αυτον [21α] καρδια ανομου εκζητει κακα καρδια δε ευθης εκζητει γνωσιν
22 A passionate man provoketh quarrels: and he that is easily stirred up to wrath, shall be more prone to sin.	22 εαν μαστιγοις αφρονα εν μεσω συνεδριου ατιμαζων ου μη περιελης την αφροσυνην αυτου
23 Humiliation followeth the proud: and glory shall uphold the humble of spirit.	23 γνωστως επιγνωση ψυχας ποιμνιου σου και επιστησεις καρδιαν σου σαις αγελαις
24 He that is partaker with a thief, hateth his own soul: he heareth one putting him to his oath, and discovereth not.	24 οτι ου τον αιωνα ανδρι κρατος και ισχυς ουδε παραδιδωσιν εκ γενεας εις γενεαν
25 He that feareth man, shall quickly fall: he that trusteth in the Lord, shall be set on high.	25 επιμελου των εν τω πεδιω χλωρων και κερεις ποαν και συναγε χορτον ορεινον
26 Many seek the face of the prince: but the judgment of every one cometh forth from the Lord.	26 ινα εχης προβατα εις ιματισμον τιμα πεδιον ινα ωσιν σοι αρνες
27 The just abhor the wicked man: and the wicked loathe them that are in the right way. The son that keepeth the word, shall be free from destruction.	27 υιε παρ' εμου εχεις ρησεις ισχυρας εις την ζωην σου και εις την ζωην σων θεραποντων
