Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.	1 ALLELUIA. Laudate Dominum de caelis, laudate eum in excelsis.
2 The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.	2 Laudate eum, omnes angeli eius, laudate eum, omnes virtutes eius.
3 Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.	3 Laudate eum, sol et luna, laudate eum, omnes stellae lucentes.
4 Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.	4 Laudate eum, caeli caelorum et aquae omnes, quae super caelos sunt. -
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number.	5 Laudent nomen Domini, quia ipse mandavit, et creata sunt;
6 The Lord lifteth up the meek, and bringeth the wicked down even to the ground.	6 statuit ea in aeternum et in saeculum saeculi; praeceptum posuit, et non praeteribit.
7 Sing ye to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp.	7 Laudate Dominum de terra, dracones et omnes abyssi,
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.	8 ignis, grando, nix, fumus, spiritus procellarum, qui facit verbum eius,
9 Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.	9 montes et omnes colles, ligna fructifera et omnes cedri,
10 He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.	10 bestiae et universa pecora, serpentes et volucres pennatae.
11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him: and in them that hope in his mercy.	11 Reges terrae et omnes populi, principes et omnes iudices terrae,
	12 iuvenes et virgines, senes cum iunioribus
	13 laudent nomen Domini, quia exaltatum est nomen eius solius. Magnificentia eius super caelum et terram,
	14 et exaltavit cornu populi sui. Hymnus omnibus sanctis eius, filiis Israel, populo, qui propinquus est ei. ALLELUIA.
