Ezechiele 25

DIODATI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 LA parola del Signore mi fu ancora indirizzata, dicendo:	1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,
2 Figliuol d’uomo, volgi la tua faccia verso i figliuoli di Ammon, e profetizza contro a loro;	2 'Son of man, turn towards the Ammonites and prophesy against them.
3 e di’ a’ figliuoli di Ammon: Ascoltate la parola del Signore Iddio: Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Perciocchè tu hai detto: Eia! contro al mio santuario, perchè era profanato; e contro alla terra d’Israele, perchè era desolata; e contro alla casa di Giuda, perchè andavano in cattività;	3 Say to the Ammonites, "Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since yougloated over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was ravaged, and over theHouse of Judah when it went into exile,
4 perciò, ecco io ti do in eredità a’ figliuoli d’Oriente, ed essi porranno i lor castelli in te, e rizzeranno in te i lor padiglioni; essi mangeranno i tuoi frutti, e berranno il tuo latte.	4 I shal let the sons of the East take possession of you; they wil pitch their camps inside you, they wilmake their home in you. They will be the ones to eat your produce and drink your milk.
5 Ed io ridurrò Rabba in albergo di cammelli, e il luogo de’ figliuoli di Ammon in mandra di pecore; e voi conoscerete che io sono il Signore.	5 I shal turn Rabbah into a camel yard and the towns of Ammon into sheepfolds. And so you wil knowthat I am Yahweh.
6 Imperocchè, così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Perciocchè tu ti sei battuta a palme, ed hai scalpitata la terra co’ piedi, e oltre a tutto il tuo sprezzo, tu ti sei rallegrata nell’animo per lo paese d’Israele;	6 "The Lord Yahweh says this: Since you have clapped your hands and danced for joy, ful of maliciousdelight at Israel's fate,
7 per questo, ecco, io stendo la mia mano sopra te, e ti darò in preda alle nazioni, e ti sterminerò d’infra i popoli, e ti farò perire d’infra i paesi; io ti distruggerò, e tu conoscerai che io sono il Signore	7 my hand wil be against you for this; I shall hand you over to be looted by the peoples, obliterate youas a nation and wipe you out as a country. I shal reduce you to nothing, and you wil know that I am Yahweh.
8 Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Perciocchè Moab e Seir hanno detto: Ecco, la casa di Giuda è come tutte le altre nazioni;	8 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Moab and Seir have said: Look at the House of Judah; it is nodifferent from any other nation;
9 perciò, ecco, io aprirò il lato di Moab, dal canto delle città, dal canto delle sue città, che sono all’estremità del suo paese; il bel paese di Bet-iesimot, di Baal-meon, e di Chiriataim, a’ figliuoli d’Oriente;	9 very wel , I shall expose Moab's heights; its cities will no longer be cities throughout the land -- thejewels of the country, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon and Kiriathaim.
10 oltre al paese dei figliuoli di Ammon, il quale io ho loro dato in eredità; acciocchè i figliuoli di Ammon non sieno più mentovati fra le nazioni.	10 I shal let the sons of the East and the Ammonites take possession of them, so that they wil nolonger be remembered by the nations.
11 E farò giudicii sopra Moab, ed essi conosceranno ch’io sono il Signore.	11 I shal bring Moab to justice, and they will know that I am Yahweh.
12 Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Per ciò che Edom ha fatto, prendendo vendetta della casa di Guida; perchè si son renduti colpevoli, vendicandosi di loro;	12 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Edom has taken revenge on the House of Judah and committedgreat crimes in doing so,
13 perciò così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Io stenderò la mia mano sopra Edom, e ne sterminerò uomini e bestie; e lo ridurrò in deserto, fin da Teman; e caderanno per la spada fino a Dedan.	13 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against Edom and denude it of human andanimal. I shal lay it waste, from Teman as far as Dedan they wil be put to the sword.
14 E farò la mia vendetta sopra Edom, per man del mio popolo Israele; ed essi opereranno contro ad Edom secondo la mia ira, e secondo il mio cruccio; ed essi conosceranno la mia vendetta, dice il Signore Iddio.	14 I shal take vengeance on Edom by means of my people Israel. They wil treat Edom as my angerand fury dictate, and they wil know this is my vengeance -- declares the Lord Yahweh.
15 Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Perciocchè i Filistei son proceduti con vendetta, ed hanno presa vendetta, per isprezzo, con diletto, per distruggere per inimicizia antica;	15 "The Lord Yahweh says this, "Since the Philistines have acted in revenge and, motivated by malice,have taken revenge, doing their best to destroy because of their long-standing hatred,
16 perciò, così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Ecco, io stendo la mia mano sopra i Filistei, e sterminerò i Cheretei, e distruggerò il rimanente del lito del mare.	16 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against the Philistines; I shal exterminate theCherethites and destroy the rest of the coastal peoples.
17 E farò sopra loro gran vendette, con castighi d’ira; ed essi conosceranno che io sono il Signore, quando avrò eseguite le mie vendette sopra loro	17 I shal perform frightful acts of vengeance and inflict furious punishments on them; and they will knowthat I am Yahweh, when I exact my vengeance on them." '
