Judas 1

1 Judas, servidor de Jesucristo, hermano de Santiago, saluda a los que han sido llamados, a los amados de Dios, el Padre, y protegidos por Jesucristo.	1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are beloved in God the Father, and who are guarded and called in Jesus Christ:
2 Llegue a ustedes la misericordia, la paz y el amor en abundancia.	2 May mercy, and peace, and love be fulfilled in you.
3 Queridos míos, yo tenía un gran deseo de escribirles acerca de nuestra común salvación, pero me he visto obligado a hacerlo con el fin de exhortarlos a combatir por la fe, que de una vez para siempre ha sido transmitida a los santos.	3 Most beloved, taking all care to write to you about your common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you in order to beg you to contend earnestly for the faith that was handed down once to the saints.
4 Porque se han infiltrado entre ustedes ciertos hombres, cuya condenación estaba preanunciada desde hace mucho tiempo. Son impíos que hacen de la gracia de Dios un pretexto para su libertinaje y reniegan de nuestro único Dueño y Señor Jesucristo.	4 For certain men entered unnoticed, who were written of beforehand unto this judgment: impious persons who are transforming the grace of our God into self-indulgence, and who are denying both the sole Ruler and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 Quiero recordarles, aunque ustedes ya lo han aprendido de una vez por todas, que el Señor, después de haber salvado al pueblo, sacándolo de Egipto, hizo morir en seguida a los incrédulos.	5 So I want to caution you. Those who once knew everything that Jesus did, in saving the people from the land of Egypt, afterwards perished because they did not believe.
6 En cuanto a los ángeles que no supieron conservar su preeminencia y abandonaron su propia morada, el Señor los tiene encadenados eternamente en las tinieblas para el Juicio del gran Día.	6 And truly, the Angels, who did not keep to their first place, but instead abandoned their own domiciles, he has reserved with perpetual chains under darkness, unto the great day of judgment.
7 También Sodoma y Gomorra, y las ciudades vecinas, que se prostituyeron de un modo semejante a ellos, dejándose arrastrar por relaciones contrarias a la naturaleza, han quedado como ejemplo, sometidas a la pena de un fuego eterno.	7 And also Sodom and Gomorrah, and the adjoining cities, in similar ways, having given themselves over to fornication and to the pursuing of other flesh, were made an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.
8 Lo mismo pasa con estos impíos: en su delirio profanan la carne, desprecian la Soberanía e injurian a los ángeles gloriosos.	8 Similarly also, these ones certainly defile the flesh, and they despise proper authority, and they blaspheme against majesty.
9 Ahora bien, el mismo arcángel Miguel, cuando se enfrentaba con el demonio y discutía con él, respecto del cuerpo de Moisés, no se atrevió a proferir contra él ningún juicio injurioso, sino que dijo solamente: «Que el Señor te reprima».	9 When Michael the Archangel, disputing with the devil, contended about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring against him a judgment of blasphemy, so instead he said: “The Lord commands you.”
10 Estos impíos, en cambio, hablan injuriosamente de lo que ignoran; y lo que conocen por instinto natural, como animales irracionales, sólo sirve para su ruina.	10 But these men certainly blaspheme against whatever they do not understand. And yet, whatever they, like mute animals, know from nature, in these things they are corrupted.
11 ¡Ay de ellos! Porque siguieron el camino de Caín; por amor al dinero cayeron en el extravío de Balaam y perecieron en la rebelión de Coré.	11 Woe to them! For they have gone after the way of Cain, and they have poured out the error of Balaam for profit, and they have perished in the sedition of Korah.
12 Ellos manchan las comidas fraternales, porque se dejan llevar de la glotonería sin ninguna vergüenza y sólo tratan de satisfacerse a sí mismos. Son nubes sin agua llevadas por el viento, árboles otoñales sin frutos, doblemente muertos y arrancados de raíz;	12 These ones are defiled within their banquets, enjoying themselves and feeding themselves without fear; waterless clouds, which are tossed about by winds; autumn trees, unfruitful, twice dead, uprooted;
13 olas bravías del mar, que arrojan la espuma de sus propias deshonras, estrellas errantes a las que está reservada para siempre la densidad de las tinieblas.	13 raging waves of the sea, foaming from their own confusion; wandering stars, for whom the whirlwind of darkness has been reserved forever!
14 A ellos se refería Henoc, el séptimo patriarca después de Adán, cuando profetizó: «Ya viene el Señor con sus millares de ángeles,	14 And about these, Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied, saying: “Behold, the Lord is arriving with thousands of his saints,
15 para juzgar a todos y condenar a los impíos por las maldades que cometieron, y a los pecadores por las palabras insolentes que profirieron contra él».	15 to execute judgment against everyone, and to reprove all the impious concerning all the works of their impiety, by which they have acted impiously, and concerning all the harsh things that impious sinners have spoken against God.”
16 Todos estos son murmuradores y descontentos que viven conforme al capricho de sus pasiones: su boca está llena de petulancia y adulan a los demás por interés.	16 These ones are complaining murmurers, walking according to their own desires. And their mouth is speaking arrogance, admiring persons for the sake of gain.
17 En cuanto a ustedes, queridos míos, acuérdense de lo que predijeron los Apóstoles de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.	17 But as for you, most beloved, be mindful of the words which have been foretold by the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 Ellos les decían: «En los últimos tiempos habrá gente que se burlará de todo y vivirá de acuerdo con sus pasiones impías».	18 who declared to you that, in the end time, there would arrive mockers, walking according to their own desires, in impieties.
19 Estos son los que provocan divisiones, hombres sensuales que no poseen el Espíritu.	19 These are the ones who segregate themselves; they are animals, not having the Spirit.
20 Pero ustedes, queridos míos, edifíquense a sí mismos sobre el fundamento de su fe santísima, orando en el Espíritu Santo.	20 But you, most beloved, are building yourselves up by your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 Manténganse en el amor de Dios, esperando la misericordia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para la Vida eterna.	21 keeping yourselves in the love of God, and anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 Traten de convencer a los que tienen dudas,	22 So certainly, reprove them, after they have been judged.
23 y sálvenlos librándolos del fuego. En cuanto a los demás, tengan piedad de ellos, pero con cuidado, aborreciendo hasta la túnica contaminada por su cuerpo.	23 Yet truly, save them, seizing them from the fire. And have mercy on others: in fear, hating even that which is of the flesh, the defiled garment.
24 A aquel que puede preservarlos de toda caída y hacerlos comparecer sin mancha y con alegría en la presencia de su gloria,	24 Then, to him who has the power to keep you free from sin and to present you, immaculate, with exultation, before the presence of his glory at the advent of our Lord Jesus Christ,
25 al único Dios que es nuestro Salvador, por medio de Jesucristo nuestro Señor, sea la gloria, el honor, la fuerza y el poder, desde antes de todos los tiempos, ahora y para siempre. Amén.	25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord: to him be glory and magnificence, dominion and power, before all ages, and now, and in every age, forever. Amen.
