Zacarías 3

EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	CATHOLIC PUBLIC DOMAIN
1 Luego me hizo ver al Sumo Sacerdote Josué, de pie ante el ángel del Señor, mientras el Adversario estaba a su derecha para acusarlo.	1 And the Lord revealed to me: Jesus the high priest, standing in the sight of the angel of the Lord. And Satan stood before his right hand, so as to be his adversary.
2 El ángel del Señor te reprima, Adversario! ¡Sí, que te reprima el Señor, el que eligió a Jerusalén! ¿No es este acaso un tizón salvado del fuego?».	2 And the Lord said to Satan, “May the Lord rebuke you, Satan! And may the Lord, who chose Jerusalem, rebuke you! Are you not a firebrand plucked from the fire?”
3 Josué, de pie delante del ángel, estaba vestido con ropa sucia.	3 And Jesus was clothed with filthy garments. And he stood before the face of an angel.
4 El ángel tomó la palabra y dijo a los que estaban de pie delante de él: «Quítenle la ropa sucia». Luego dijo a Josué: «Yo te he sacado de encima tu iniquidad y te pondré vestiduras de fiesta».	4 He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And he said to him, “Behold, I have taken away from you your iniquity, and I have clothed you with a change of clothing.”
5 Y añadió: «Coloquen sobre su cabeza un turbante limpio y pónganle vestiduras de fiesta». Ellos le pusieron el turbante limpio sobre la cabeza y las vestiduras de fiesta, mientras el ángel del Señor permanecía allí de pie.	5 And he said, “Place a clean diadem on his head.” And they placed a clean diadem on his head, and they clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord remained standing.
6 Después el ángel del Señor advirtió solemnemente a Josué:	6 And the angel of the Lord contested with Jesus, saying:
7 «Así habla el Señor de los ejércitos: Si vas por mis caminos y observas mis mandamientos, tú mismo gobernarás mi Casa y cuidarás mis atrios, y yo te daré libre acceso entre los que están aquí.	7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and keep my charge, you likewise will judge my house and will keep my courts, and I will give you some of those who now attend here to walk with you.
8 Escucha, Josué, Sumo Sacerdote, tú y tus compañeros que se sientan delante de ti –porque estos hombres son un presagio–: Yo suscitaré a mi servidor «Germen».	8 Listen, Jesus the high priest, you and your friends, who dwell before you, who have been portending to men. For behold, I will lead my servant to the East.
9 Sí, esta es la piedra que pongo delante de Josué: sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos. Yo mismo voy a grabar su inscripción –oráculo del Señor de los ejércitos– y voy a eliminar la iniquidad de este país en un solo día.	9 For behold, the stone that I have bestowed before Jesus. Upon one stone, there are seven eyes. Behold, I will carve its engraving, says the Lord of hosts. And I will take away the iniquity of that land in one day.
10 Aquel día –oráculo del Señor de los ejércitos– ustedes se invitarán unos a otros debajo de la parra y de la higuera.	10 On that day, says the Lord of hosts, every man will call his friend from under the vine and from under the fig tree.
