1 Cuando se acercaron a Caserín, que está frente a Nínive,	1 And as they were returning they came to Charan, which is in the midway to Ninive, the eleventh day.
2 Rafael dijo a Tobías: «Ya sabes en qué estado dejamos a tu padre.	2 And the angel said: Brother Tobias, thou knowest how thou didst leave thy father.
3 Adelantémonos para preparar la casa, antes que llegue tu esposa con los demás».	3 If it please thee therefore, let us go before, and let the family follow softly after us, together with thy wife, and with the beasts.
4 Los dos siguieron caminando juntos, y el ángel le recomendó a Tobías que tuviera a mano la hiel. El perro iba detrás de ellos.	4 And as this their going pleased him, Raphael said to Tobias: Take with thee of the gall of the fish, for it will be necessary. So Tobias took some of that gall and departed.
5 Ana estaba sentada con la mirada fija en el camino por donde debía volver su hijo.	5 But Anna sat beside the way daily, on the top of a hill, from whence she might see afar off.
6 De pronto presintió que él llegaba y dijo al padre: «¡Ya viene tu hijo con su compañero!».	6 And while she watched his coming from that place, she saw him afar off, and presently perceived it was her son coming: and returning she told her husband, saying: Behold thy son cometh.
7 Rafael dijo a Tobías, antes que él se acercara a su padre: «Seguro que tu padre va a recobrar la vista.	7 And Raphael said to Tobias: As soon as thou shalt come into thy house, forthwith adore the Lord thy God: and giving thanks to him, go to thy father, and kiss him.
8 Untale los ojos con la hiel del pez; el remedio hará que las manchas blancas se contraigan y se desprendan de sus ojos. Así tu padre recobrará la vista y verá la luz».	8 And immediately anoint his eyes with this gall of the fish, which thou carriest with thee. For be assured that his eyes shall be presently opened, and thy father shall see the light of heaven, and shall rejoice in the sight of thee.
9 La madre corrió a echarse al cuello de su hijo, diciéndole: «¡Ahora sí que puedo morir, porque te he vuelto a ver, hijo mío!». Y se puso a llorar.	9 Then the dog, which had been with them in the way, ran before, and coming as if he had brought the news, shewed his joy by his fawning and wagging his tail.
10 Tobit también se levantó y, tropezando, salió por la puerta del patio. Tobías corrió hacia él,	10 And his father that was blind, rising up, began to run stumbling with his feet: and giving a servant his hand, went to meet his son.
11 con la hiel del pez en su mano; le sopló en los ojos y, sosteniéndolo, le dijo: «¡Animo, padre!». Después le aplicó el remedio y se lo frotó.	11 And receiving him kissed him, as did also his wife, and they began to weep for joy.
12 Luego le sacó con ambas manos las escamas de los ojos.	12 And when they had adored God, and given him thanks, they sat down together.
13 Entonces su padre lo abrazó llorando y le dijo: «¡Te veo, hijo mío, luz de mis ojos!».	13 Then Tobias taking of the gall of the fish, anointed his father's eyes.
14 Y añadió: «¡Bendito sea Dios! ¡Bendito sea su gran Nombre! ¡Benditos sean todos sus santos ángeles! ¡Que su gran Nombre esté sobre nosotros! benditos sean los ángeles por todos los siglos!	14 And he stayed about half an hour: and a white skin began to come out of his eyes, like the skin of an egg.
15 Porque él me había herido, pero tuvo compasión de mí, y ahora veo a mi hijo Tobías». Tobías entró en la casa, lleno de gozo y bendiciendo a Dios en alta voz. Luego informó a su padre sobre el buen resultado del viaje: le contó cómo había recuperado el dinero y cómo se había casado con Sara, hija de Ragüel. Y añadió: «Llegará de un momento a otro, porque está a las puertas de Nínive».	15 And Tobias took hold of it, and drew it from his eyes, and immediately he recovered his sight.
16 Tobit salió al encuentro de su nuera hasta las puertas de Nínive, bendiciendo a Dios lleno de alegría. Al verlo caminar con todo su vigor, sin la ayuda de nadie, los habitantes de Nínive quedaron maravillados. Tobit proclamaba delante de todos que Dios había tenido misericordia de él y le había devuelto la vista.	16 And they glorified God, both he and his wife and all that knew them.
17 Después se acercó a Sara, la esposa de su hijo Tobías, y la bendijo, diciendo: «¡Bienvenida, hija mía! ¡Bendito sea Dios, que te trajo hasta nosotros! ¡Bendito sea tu padre, bendito sea mi hijo Tobías, y bendita seas tú, hija mía! ¡Entra en tu casa con gozo y bendición!».	17 And Tobias said: I bless thee, O Lord God of Israel, because thou hast chastised me, and thou hast saved me: and behold I see Tobias my son.
18 Ese fue un gran día de fiesta para todos los judíos de Nínive, y los sobrinos de Tobit, Ajicar y Nadab, vinieron a compartir su alegría.	18 And after seven days Sara his son's wife, and all the family arrived safe, and the cattle, and the camels, and an abundance of money of his wife's: and that money also which he had received of Gabelus:
	19 And he told his parents all the benefits of God, which he had done to him by the man that conducted him.
	20 And Achior and Nabath the kinsmen of Tobias came, rejoicing for Tobias, and congratulating with him for all the good things that God had done for him.
	21 And for seven days they feasted and rejoiced all with great joy.
