1 Il m’a encore montré le fleuve des eaux de la vie. Le fleuve, limpide comme le cristal, sortait du trône de Dieu et de l’Agneau.	1 And he showed me the river of the water of life, shining like crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 Sur la place de la ville et de chaque côté du fleuve, l’arbre de vie produit ses douze fruits; chaque mois il donne ses fruits, et les feuilles de l’arbre sont médicinales pour les nations.	2 In the midst of its main street, and on both sides of the river, was the Tree of Life, bearing twelve fruits, offering one fruit for each month, and the leaves of the tree are for the health of the nations.
3 Il n’y a plus de calamités en ce lieu, car le trône de Dieu et de l’Agneau est dans la ville. Ses serviteurs l’y adoreront	3 And every curse shall be no more. But the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants shall serve him.
4 et ils verront sa face; son nom est écrit sur leur front.	4 And they shall see his face. And his name shall be on their foreheads.
5 Il n’y aura plus de nuit, eux-mêmes n’auront plus besoin de lumière, de la lampe ou du soleil, car le Seigneur Dieu les inondera de lumière. Et ils régneront pour les siècles des siècles!	5 And night shall be no more. And they will not need the light of a lamp, nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God will illuminate them. And they shall reign forever and ever.
6 Alors il me dit: "Ces paroles sont vraies et dignes de foi. Le Seigneur Dieu des esprits des prophètes a voulu envoyer son ange pour faire connaître à ses serviteurs ce qui doit arriver d’ici peu.	6 And he said to me: “These words are entirely faithful and true.” And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his Angel to reveal to his servant what must occur soon:
7 Oui, très vite je serai là. Heureux celui qui tient compte des paroles prophétiques de ce livre!”	7 “For behold, I am approaching quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 C’est moi, Jean, qui ai vu et entendu tout cela. Après l’avoir vu et entendu, je me suis jeté à terre, voulant me prosterner aux pieds de l’ange qui m’avait montré tout cela.	8 And I, John, heard and saw these things. And, after I had heard and seen, I fell down, so as to adore before the feet of the Angel, who was revealing these things to me.
9 Mais il me dit: "Non! Je sers comme toi et tes frères les prophètes, et tous ceux qui vont prendre en compte les paroles de ce livre. C’est Dieu que tu dois adorer.”	9 And he said to me: “Be careful not to do so. For I am your fellow servant, and I am among your brothers the prophets, and among those who keep the words of the prophecy of this book. Adore God.”
10 Ensuite il me dit: "Ne mets pas de mystères autour des paroles prophétiques de ce livre, car le temps est proche.	10 And he said to me: “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book. For the time is near.
11 Laisse le mauvais persévérer dans l’injustice, le souillé se souiller encore, l’homme de bien ajouter à ses œuvres bonnes et le saint se sanctifier.	11 Whoever does harm, he might still do harm. And whoever is filthy, he might still be filthy. And whoever is just, he may still be just. And one who is holy, he may still be holy.”
12 “Très vite je serai là, et j’amène avec moi la récompense: je rendrai à chacun selon ses œuvres.	12 “Behold, I am approaching quickly! And my repayment is with me, to render to each one according to his works.
13 Je suis l’Alpha et l’Oméga, le premier et le dernier, le commencement et la fin.	13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
14 “Heureux ceux qui lavent leurs vêtements! Ils auront accès à l’arbre de vie et ils entreront dans la ville, passant par ses portes.	14 Blessed are those who wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb. So may they have a right to the tree of life; so may they enter through the gates into the City.
15 Mais dehors les chiens et ceux qui font de la magie, ceux qui courent à la débauche, ceux qui tuent et qui adorent des idoles. Dehors celui qui aime et qui pratique la fausseté.	15 Outside are dogs, and drug users, and homosexuals, and murderers, and those who serve idols, and all who love and do what is false.
16 “Moi, Jésus, j’ai envoyé mon ange pour vous donner ce témoignage au sujet des Églises. Je suis la racine de David et son rejeton, et l’étoile qui brille à l’aurore.”	16 “I, Jesus, have sent my Angel, to testify to these things for you among the Churches. I am the Root and the Origin of David, the bright morning Star.”
17 L’Esprit et la fiancée disent: "Viens!” Celui qui suit la lecture de ce livre dira aussi: "Viens!” Que celui qui a soif approche. Que celui qui le désire reçoive gratuitement l’eau qui donne la vie.	17 And the Spirit and the Bride say: “Draw near.” And whoever hears, let him say: “Draw near.” And whoever thirsts, let him draw near. And whoever is willing, let him accept the water of life, freely.
18 Je dis à tous ceux qui entendent les paroles prophétiques de ce livre: si quelqu’un y rajoute, Dieu ajoutera à son compte tous les châtiments décrits dans ce livre.	18 For I call as witnesses all listeners of the words of the prophecy of this book. If anyone will have added to these, God will add upon him the afflictions written in this book.
19 Et si quelqu’un efface l’une des paroles prophétiques de ce livre, Dieu effacera le droit qu’il avait à l’arbre de vie et à la Cité sainte décrite dans ce livre.	19 And if anyone will have taken away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his portion from the Book of Life, and from the Holy City, and from these things which have been written in this book.
20 Celui qui a fait toute cette déclaration dit: "C’est exact, et bientôt j’arrive.” - Oui, viens, Seigneur Jésus!	20 He who offers testimony to these things, says: “Even now, I am approaching quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 Que la grâce du Seigneur Jésus soit avec vous tous.	21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
