1 Après cela j’ai entendu comme l’acclamation d’une foule immense. Ils disaient: Alléluia! À notre Dieu la victoire, la gloire et la puissance.	1 After these things, I heard something like the voice of many multitudes in heaven, saying: “Alleluia! Praise and glory and power is for our God.
2 Oui, ses décisions sont vraies et justes; il a jugé la grande prostituée dont les prostitutions pourrissaient le monde, il lui a réclamé le sang de ses serviteurs.”	2 For true and just are his judgments, he who has judged the great harlot that corrupted the earth by her prostitution. And he has vindicated the blood of his servants from her hands.”
3 Et de nouveau ils ont dit: "Alléluia! Que sa fumée monte sans trêve pour les siècles des siècles!”	3 And again, they said: “Alleluia! For her smoke ascends forever and ever.”
4 À ce moment les 24 Anciens et les quatre Vivants se sont jetés à terre pour adorer Dieu qui siège sur le trône. Ils ont dit: "Amen, Alléluia!”	4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, sitting upon the throne, saying: “Amen! Alleluia!”
5 Alors une voix est sortie du trône qui disait: "Chantez pour notre Dieu, vous tous ses serviteurs, petits et grands, vous tous qui le craignez.”	5 And a voice went out from the throne, saying: “Express praise to our God, all you his servants, and you who fear him, small and great.”
6 J’ai entendu ensuite, comme l’acclamation d’une foule immense, comme le vacarme d’un gros torrent ou le grondement d’un fort tonnerre. Ils disaient: Alléluia! C’est maintenant le règne du Seigneur, de notre Dieu, maître de l’univers.	6 And I heard something like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of great thunders, saying: “Alleluia! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, has reigned.
7 Réjouissons-nous, crions de joie et rendons-lui gloire, car ce sont maintenant les noces de l’Agneau, et son épouse s’est préparée.	7 Let us be glad and exult. And let us give glory to him. For the marriage feast of the Lamb has arrived, and his wife has prepared herself.”
8 On lui a donné pour se vêtir du lin fin, blanc et net - ce lin fin, ce sont les actions méritoires des saints.	8 And it was granted to her that she should cover herself with fine linen, splendid and white. For the fine linen is the justifications of the Saints.
9 À ce moment il me dit: "Écris ceci: Heureux les invités au banquet des noces de l’Agneau.” Et il me dit encore: "Ce sont des paroles de Dieu authentiques.”	9 And he said to me: “Write: Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These words of God are true.”
10 Alors je me suis jeté à ses pieds pour l’adorer, mais il m’a dit: "Non! Je sers comme toi et comme tes frères qui transmettent les déclarations de Jésus. C’est Dieu que tu dois adorer.” - Les déclarations de Jésus et l’esprit de prophétie sont la même chose.	10 And I fell down before his feet, to adore him. And he said to me: “Be careful not to do so. I am your fellow servant, and I am among your brothers, who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Adore God. For the testimony of Jesus is a spirit of prophecy.”
11 Alors j’ai vu le ciel ouvert. J’ai vu un cheval blanc et celui qui le monte; on l’appelle le Fidèle et le Vrai. Il juge, il combat, selon la droiture.	11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And he who was sitting upon it was called Faithful and True. And with justice does he judge and fight.
12 Ses yeux sont une flamme de feu et l’on voit sur sa tête de nombreuses couronnes. Nul autre que lui ne connaît le Nom écrit sur lui.	12 And his eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, having a name written, which no one knows except himself.
13 Il s’enveloppe d’un manteau trempé de sang et on l’appelle le Verbe de Dieu.	13 And he was clothed with a vestment sprinkled with blood. And his name is called: THE WORD OF GOD.
14 Les armées du ciel le suivent, équipées de chevaux blancs, vêtues de lin fin net et blanc.	14 And the armies that are in heaven were following him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 Une épée aiguisée sort de sa bouche, pour en frapper les nations. C’est lui qui doit les mener avec une baguette de fer, et c’est lui encore qui foule au pressoir le vin de la fureur et de la colère de Dieu, Maître de l’univers.	15 And from his mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword, so that with it he may strike the nations. And he shall rule them with an iron rod. And he treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
16 Sur son manteau et sur sa cuisse, un titre est inscrit: Roi des rois et Seigneur des seigneurs.	16 And he has on his garment and on his thigh written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
17 Je vis alors un ange debout sur le soleil, appelant à grands cris tous les oiseaux qui volaient dans les hauteurs du ciel: "Tous ici, rassemblez-vous pour le grand banquet de Dieu!	17 And I saw a certain Angel, standing in the sun. And he cried out with a great voice, saying to all the birds that were flying through the midst of the sky, “Come and gather together for the great supper of God,
18 Vous mangerez la chair des rois, la chair des généraux, la chair des héros, des chevaux et des cavaliers. Libres ou esclaves, petits et grands, vous les mangerez tous.”	18 so that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of tribunes, and the flesh of the strong, and the flesh of horses and those sitting on them, and the flesh of all: free and servant, small and great.”
19 Je vis la bête avec les rois de la terre et leurs armées, réunis pour combattre celui qui monte le cheval et son armée.	19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, having been gathered together to do battle against him who was sitting upon the horse, and against his army.
20 La bête fut prise, et avec elle le faux prophète qui faisait des prodiges à son service: il a égaré grâce à ses prodiges ceux qui ont reçu la marque de la bête et adorent son image. Les deux furent jetés vivants dans l’étang de feu où brûle le soufre.	20 And the beast was apprehended, and with him the false prophetess, who in his presence caused the signs, by which she seduced those who accepted the character of the beast and who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the pool of fire burning with sulphur.
21 Tous les autres furent massacrés par l’épée de celui qui monte le cheval, cette épée qui sort de sa bouche, et tous les oiseaux du ciel se sont rassasiés de leurs chairs.	21 And the others were slain by the sword that proceeds from the mouth of him who was sitting upon the horse. And all the birds were sated with their flesh.
