1 Ensuite j’ai vu ceci: l’Agneau se tenait sur le Mont Sion avec autour de lui les 144 000 qui portent son nom et le nom de son Père écrit sur leur front.	1 And I saw, and behold, the Lamb was standing above mount Zion, and with him were one hundred and forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads.
2 J’ai entendu une clameur dans le ciel, puissante comme le vacarme des grandes eaux ou comme celui du tonnerre. Ce que j’entendais devait être un chœur où chacun chante et s’accompagne avec sa guitare,	2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of a great thunder. And the voice that I heard was like that of singers, while playing on their stringed instruments.
3 pendant qu’il chante le cantique nouveau en présence du trône et des quatre Vivants et des 24 Anciens. Personne ne pouvait apprendre ce chant sinon les 144 000 qui ont été rachetés de ce monde.	3 And they were singing what seemed like a new canticle before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one was able to recite the canticle, except those one hundred and forty-four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth.
4 Ceux-là ne se sont pas souillés avec les femmes, ils sont vierges; ils ont été rachetés d’entre les hommes et sont comme les prémices offertes à Dieu et à l’Agneau.	4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are Virgins. These follow the Lamb wherever he will go. These were redeemed from men as the first-fruits for God and for the Lamb.
5 Il n’y a pas eu de mensonge dans leur bouche; ils sont sans tache.	5 And in their mouth, no lie was found, for they are without flaw before the throne of God.
6 Alors j’ai vu un autre ange qui volait dans les hauteurs du ciel, apportant une bonne nouvelle, la définitive, qu’il doit annoncer à tous ceux qui sont sur terre, à tout peuple et tribu de toute langue et de toute nation.	6 And I saw another Angel, flying through the midst of heaven, holding the eternal Gospel, so as to evangelize those sitting upon the earth and those of every nation and tribe and language and people,
7 Et il leur crie: "Craignez Dieu et rendez-lui gloire, car l’heure de son jugement est arrivé. Adorez celui qui a fait le ciel et la terre, la mer et les sources!”	7 saying with a loud voice: “Fear the Lord, and give honor to him, for the hour of his judgment has arrived. And worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the sources of water.”
8 Un second ange est venu qui a dit: "Elle est tombée! elle est tombée, Babylone la Grande! celle qui enivrait toutes les nations avec sa prostitution sauvage!”	8 And another Angel followed, saying: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who inebriated all nations with the wine of her wrath and of fornication.”
9 Un troisième ange est venu qui a crié: "Celui qui adore la bête et son image et qui se laisse marquer au front ou sur la main droite,	9 And the third Angel followed them, saying with a great voice: “If anyone has worshiped the beast, or his image, or has received his character on his forehead or on his hand,
10 celui-là boira aussi jusqu’à l’ivresse la fureur de Dieu, ce vin pur qu’il a préparé dans la coupe de sa colère! Il sera torturé par le feu et par le soufre en présence des saints anges et de l’Agneau.”	10 he shall drink also from the wine of the wrath of God, which has been mixed with strong wine in the cup of his wrath, and he shall be tortured with fire and sulphur in the sight of the holy Angels and before the sight of the Lamb.
11 Oui, la fumée de leur supplice continue de monter siècle après siècle. De jour et de nuit ils n’ont pas de repos, ceux qui ont adoré la bête et son image, ceux qui ont accepté la marque de son nom.”	11 And the smoke of their torments shall ascend forever and ever. And they shall have no rest, day or night, those who have worshiped the beast or his image, or who have received the character of his name.”
12 C’est donc l’heure de la fermeté pour les saints, pour ceux qui gardent les commandements de Dieu et la foi de Jésus.	12 Here is the patient endurance of the Saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Et j’ai entendu une voix dans le ciel qui disait: "Écris ceci: Heureux, dès maintenant, ceux qui sont morts dans le Seigneur! Oui, dit l’Esprit, ils sont réconfortés après toutes leurs peines, car leurs œuvres les ont suivis.”	13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: “Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord, now and hereafter, says the Spirit, so that they may find rest from their labors. For their works follow them.”
14 Après cela j’ai vu un nuage lumineux et quelqu’un assis sur le nuage; on aurait dit un fils d’homme. Il avait sur sa tête une couronne d’or, et dans sa main une faucille affûtée.	14 And I saw, and behold, a white cloud. And upon the cloud was one sitting, resembling a son of man, having a crown of gold on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand.
15 Un autre ange est sorti du temple et il a crié à celui qui siégeait sur le nuage: "Lance ta faucille et moissonne, car il est temps de moissonner, la moisson de la terre est mûre.”	15 And another Angel went forth from the temple, crying out in a great voice to the one sitting upon the cloud: “Send out your sickle and reap! For the hour of reaping has arrived, because the harvest of the earth has ripened.”
16 Alors celui qui siégeait sur le nuage a lancé sa faucille sur la terre, et la terre a été moissonnée.	16 And the one who was sitting upon the cloud sent out his sickle to the earth, and the earth was reaped.
17 Un autre ange est sorti du temple qui est dans le ciel, ayant lui aussi une faucille affûtée;	17 And another Angel went forth from the temple that is in heaven; he also had a sharp sickle.
18 et un autre ange encore est venu de l’autel de l’encens, celui qui est chargé du feu. Il a appelé celui qui tenait la faucille affûtée pour lui crier: "Lance ta faucille affûtée et coupe les grappes de la vigne de la terre, car ses raisins sont mûrs.”	18 And another Angel went forth from the altar, who held power over fire. And he cried out in a great voice to him who held the sharp sickle, saying: “Send out your sharp sickle, and harvest the clusters of grapes from the vineyard of the earth, because its grapes have matured.”
19 L’ange a alors lancé sa faucille sur la terre, afin de vendanger les raisins de la terre; et il les a jetés dans le pressoir de la terrible fureur de Dieu.	19 And the Angel sent out his sharp sickle to the earth, and he harvested the vineyard of the earth, and he cast it into the great basin of the wrath of God.
20 Le pressoir a été foulé hors de la ville, et du pressoir il est sorti du sang. Sur une étendue de 1 200 stades le sang montait jusqu’au mors des chevaux.	20 And the basin was trodden beyond the city, and blood went forth from the basin, even as high as the harnesses of horses, out to one thousand six hundred stadia.
