5 Siklag, Beth-Ha-Markabot, Hasar-Sousa,	5 and Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 Beth-Lébaot et Charouhen: 13 villes et leurs villages.	6 and Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen: thirteen cities, and their villages;
7 Ayin, Rimmon, Éter, Achan: quatre villes et leurs villages,	7 Ain and Enrimmon, and Ether and Ashan: four cities, and their villages;
8 et de plus tous les villages qui les entouraient jusqu’à Baalat-Ber et Rama du Négueb; voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Siméon.	8 all villages around these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, the high place facing the southern region. 9 On préleva l’héritage de Siméon sur le lot de Juda, car la part de Juda était trop grande pour lui. La tribu de Siméon reçut donc son héritage au milieu de l’héritage de Juda.	9 within the possession and lot of the sons of Judah, which was greater. 11 Leur frontière montait à l’ouest vers Maraala, elle passait à côté de Tabechet et du Torrent qui est en face de Yoknéam.	11 And it ascends from the sea and from Mareal. And it passes on to Dabbesheth, as far as the torrent, which is opposite Jokneam.
12 À partir de Sadoud, la frontière tournait vers l’est du côté du soleil levant. Elle atteignait Kislot-Tabor, passait près de Dabérat et montait à Yafia.	12 And it turns back from Sarid, to the east, to the end of Chisloth-tabor. And it goes out to Daberath, and it ascends opposite Japhia.
13 À partir de là, elle s’étendait vers l’est au levant, vers Gat-Héfer et Itta-Kasin. Elle touchait alors Rimmon et arrivait dans les environs de Néa.	13 And from there, it continues to the eastern region of Gathhepher and Ethkazin. And goes out to Rimmon, Amthar, and Neah.
14 Puis la frontière faisait un détour vers le nord, en direction de Hannaton et arrivait à la vallée de Yifta-El.	14 And it circles to the north at Hannathon. And its exits are at the Valley of Iphtahel;
15 Il y avait là Katat, Nahalal, Chimron, Yiréala et Bethléem: 12 villes et leurs villages;	15 and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron and Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities, and their villages.
16 voilà l’héritage des clans de Zabulon, avec ses villes et ses villages.	16 This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, the cities and their villages.
17 Le sort attribua la quatrième part à Issacar, aux clans de la tribu d’Issacar.	17 The fourth lot went out to Issachar, by their families.
18 Leur territoire s’étendait vers Yizréel, il comptait Késoulot, Chounem,	18 And his inheritance was: Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 Hafarayim, Chion, Anaharat,	19 and Hapharaim, and Shion, and Anaharath,
20 Dabérat, Kichyon, Ébès,	20 and Rabbith and Kishion, Ebez
21 Rémet, En-Gannim, En-Hadda et Beth-Passés.	21 and Remeth, and Engannim, and Enhaddah, and Bethpazzez.
22 Touchant Thabor, Chahasima et Beth-Chémech, la frontière arrivait au Jourdain: 16 villes et leurs villages.	22 And its limit reaches to Tabor and Shahazumah and Beth-shemesh; and its exits shall be at the Jordan: sixteen cities, and their villages.
23 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu d’Issacar avec ses villes et ses villages.	23 This is the possession of the sons of Issachar by their families, the cities and their villages.
24 Le sort attribua la cinquième part aux clans de la tribu d’Asher.	24 And the fifth lot fell to the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.
25 Leur territoire comptait Helkat, Hali, Béten, Akchaf,	25 And their border was: Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
26 Alammélek, Améad et Michéal. À l’ouest il touchait le Carmel et le lit du Libnat.	26 and Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal. And it extends even to Carmel by the sea, and Shihor, and Libnath.
27 Du côté du soleil levant, il allait jusqu’à Beth-Dagon; il touchait Zabulon, la vallée de Yifta-El, Beth-Ha-Émek et Néïel, au nord de Kaboul.	27 And it turns back toward the east at Bethdagon. And it continues on as far as Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtahel, toward the north, at Beth-emek and Neiel. And it goes out to the left of Cabul,
28 Il comprenait Abdon, Réhob, Hammon et Kana, jusqu’à Sidon-la-Grande. La frontière allait vers Rama et jusqu’à la ville fortifiée de Tyr.	28 and to Ebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, as far as the great Sidon.
29 Ensuite, elle gagnait Hosa et aboutissait à la mer, à la hauteur de Mahaleb et Akzib,	29 And it turns back at Ramah, even to the very fortified city of Tyre, and even to Hosah. And its exits shall be at the sea, from the lot of Achzib;
30 avec Akko, Afek et Réhob: 22 villes et leurs villages.	30 and Ummah, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities, and their villages.
31 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu d’Asher, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.	31 This is the possession of the sons of Asher, by their families, and the cities and their villages.
32 Le sort attribua la sixième part à Nephtali, aux clans de la tribu de Nephtali.	32 The sixth lot fell to the sons of Naphtali, by their families.
33 Partant de Hélef et du Chêne de Saanannim, leur frontière passait à Adami-Ha-Nékeb et Yabnéel, Lakoum et arrivait au Jourdain.	33 And its border begins from Heleph and Elon, into Zaanannim, and Adami, which is Nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum. And its exits are as far as the Jordan.
34 La frontière passait à l’ouest par Aznot-Tabor, par Houkok et touchait Zabulon au sud et Asher à l’ouest, le Jourdain formait la frontière orientale.	34 And the border turns back to the west at Aznoth-tabor, and it goes out from there to Hukkok. And continues on to Zebulun, in the south, and to Asher, in the west, and to Judah, at the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun.
35 Les villes étaient Siddim, Ser, Hammat, Rakat, Kinnéret,	35 And the most fortified cities are Ziddim, Zer and Hammath, and Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
36 Adama, Rama, Haçor,	36 and Adamah and Ramah, Hazor
37 Qédesh, Édréï, En-Haçor,	37 and Kedesh and Edrei, Enhazor
38 Yiréon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anat et Beth-Chémech: 19 villes et leurs villages.	38 and Yiron and Migdalel, Horem and Bethanath, and Beth-shemesh: nineteen cities, and their villages.
39 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Nephtali, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.	39 This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, the cities and their villages.
40 Le sort attribua la septième part aux clans de Dan.	40 The seventh lot went out to the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families.
41 Le territoire qu’ils reçurent comprenait Soréa, Echtaol, Ir-Chémech,	41 And the border of their possession was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh, that is, the City of the Sun,
42 Chaalbim, Ayyalon, Silata,	42 Sha-alabbin, and Aijalon, and Ithlah,
43 Élon, Timna, Ékron,	43 Elon, and Timnah, and Ekron,
44 Elteké, Guibéton, Baalat,	44 Eltekeh, Gibbethon and Baalath,
45 Azor, Béné-Pérak et Gat-Rimmon;	45 and Jehud, and Bene and Berak, and Gath-Rimmon,
46 vers la mer, Yérakon avec le territoire qui fait face à Joppé.	46 and Mejarkon and Rakkon, with a border that looks toward Joppa,
47 Mais la tribu de Dan ne sut pas s’emparer de son territoire. C’est pourquoi ses clans montèrent combattre Léchem; ils s’en emparèrent et la passèrent au fil de l’épée. Après la prise de Léchem, ils s’y installèrent et lui donnèrent le nom de Dan, celui de leur ancêtre.	47 and there the last part is concluded. And the sons of Dan ascended and fought against Leshem, and they seized it. And they struck it with the mouth of the sword, and they possessed it, and they lived in it, calling it by the name of Leshem-Dan, according to the name of their father Dan.
48 Voilà l’héritage des clans de la tribu de Dan, avec leurs villes et leurs villages.	48 This is the possession of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, the cities and their villages.
49 Le partage du pays avec ses frontières était terminé. Alors les Israélites donnèrent à Josué, fils de Noun, un héritage au milieu d’eux.	49 And when he had completed dividing the land by lot to each one by their tribes, the sons of Israel gave a possession to Joshua, the son of Nun, in their midst,
50 Selon l’ordre de Yahvé, ils lui donnèrent la ville qu’il avait demandée: Timnat-Séra, dans la montagne d’Éphraïm. Il reconstruisit la ville et s’y installa.	50 in accord with the precept of the Lord, the city he requested, Timnath-Serah, on mount Ephraim. And he built up the city, and he lived in it.
51 Ce sont là les parts d’héritage que le prêtre Éléazar, Josué fils de Noun et les chefs de clans, répartirent par le sort entre les tribus d’Israël. C’était à Silo, en présence de Yahvé à l’entrée de la Tente du Rendez-Vous. Ainsi s’acheva le partage du pays.	51 These are the possessions which Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, the son of Nun, and the leaders of the families and tribes of the sons of Israel divided by lot at Shiloh, before the Lord, at the door of the Tabernacle of the Testimony. And so did they divide the land.
