Ezechiele 36

1 E tu, figliuolo d' uomo, profeta sopra li monti d'Israel, e dirai: o monti d' Israel, udite la parola di Dio.	1 As for you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel: Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD!
2 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: però che lo nimico ha detto di voi rallegriamoci, però che sempiterne altezze sono date a noi per eredità;	2 Thus says the Lord GOD: Because the enemy has said of you, "Ha! the everlasting heights have become our possession"
3 però indovina, e di': questo dice lo Signore Iddio: però che siete desolati, e conculcati per lo (vostro) circuito, e fatti in eredità a tutte le genti, e saliste sopra lo labbro della lingua (cioè che foste mormorati) e lo vituperio del popolo;	3 (therefore prophesy in these words: Thus says the Lord GOD:); because you have been ridiculed and despised on all sides for having become a possession for the rest of the nations, and have become a byword and a popular jeer;
4 però voi, monti d' Israel, udite la parola di Dio: questo dice lo Signore Iddio alli monti, alli colli e alli fossati e alle valli e alli deserti, [alli] parietini e alle terre abbandonate, le quali sono spopolate e dileggiate dall' altre genti nel circuito.	4 therefore, mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: (Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains and hills, the ravines and valleys, the desolate ruins and abandoned cities, which have been given over to the pillage and mockery of the remaining nations round about;
5 Però (che) questo dice lo Signore Iddio: però che hoe parlato, nel fuoco del mio zelo, dell' altre genti e di tutta Idumea, le quali genti diedono la mia terra a lei per eredità con coltello e con tutto l'animo, e caccioroli acciò che la vastasseno;	5 therefore thus says the Lord GOD:) Truly, with burning jealousy I speak against the rest of the nations (and against all of Edom) who with wholehearted joy and utter contempt have considered my land their possession to be delivered over to plunder.
6 e però indovina sopra la terra d' Israel, e dirai alli monti e alli colli e alli gioghi e alle valli: questo dice lo Signore Iddio: (però che siete desolati), ecco io hoe parlato nel mio zelo e nel mio furore, però che avete sostenuto la confusione delle genti.	6 (Therefore, prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and hills, the ravines and valleys: Thus says the Lord GOD:) With jealous fury I speak, because you have borne the reproach of the nations.
7 E però questo dice lo Signore Iddio: io levai la mia mano sopra le genti le quali sono nel vostro circuito, acciò ch' egli portino la loro confusione.	7 Therefore do I solemnly swear that your neighboring nations shall bear their own reproach.
8 Ma voi, monti d' Israel, metterete fuori li vostri rami, acciò che voi diate lo vostro frutto al mio popolo Israel; però ch' egli è presso acciò ch' egli vegna.	8 As for you, mountains of Israel, you shall grow branches and bear fruit for my people Israel, for they shall soon return.
9 Però che, ecco me a voi, e convertirommi a voi, e sarete arati, e torrete la semente.	9 See, I come to you, it is to you that I turn; you will be tilled and sown,
10 E moltiplicherò in voi li uomini, e tutta la casa d'Israel: e abiterannosi le città, e le cose rovinate saranno restaurate.	10 and I will settle crowds of men upon you, the whole house of Israel; cities shall be repeopled, and ruins rebuilt.
11 Ed empierovvi di uomini e di bestiame, e si moltiplicheranno e cresceranno; e farovvi abitare come dal principio, e di beni vi donerò maggiori che non aveste al cominciamento; e saprete ch' io sono Iddio.	11 I will settle crowds of men and beasts upon you, to multiply and be fruitful. I will repeople you as in the past, and be more generous to you than in the beginning; thus you shall know that I am the LORD.
12 E menerò sopra voi li uomini, cioè lo mio popolo Israel, e possederanno te per eredità; e sarai loro eredità, e non avverrà più che tu sia sanza loro.	12 (My people Israel are the ones whom I will have walk upon you; they shall take possession of you, and you shall be their heritage. Never again shall you rob them of their children.)
13 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: però ch' è detto di voi se' divoratrice delli uomini, e affoghi la tua gente;	13 Thus says the Lord GOD: Because they have said of you, "You are a land that devours men, and you rob your people of their children";
14 però non manicherai oggi mai più li uomini, e non affogherai più la tua gente, dice lo Signore Iddio.	14 therefore, never again shall you devour men or rob your people of their children, says the Lord GOD.
15 E non farò più udire in te la confusione delle genti, e non porterai più lo vituperio degli uomini, e non perderai più la tua gente, dice lo Signore Iddio.	15 No more will I permit you to hear the reproach of nations, or bear insults from peoples, or rob your people of their children, says the Lord GOD.
16 E disse Iddio a me;	16 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:
17 O figliuolo d' uomo, la casa d' Israel abitò nella sua terra, e corromperola nelle sue mani e nelli suoi studii; la loro via è fatta secondo la bruttura ch' è mescolata di lussuria dinanzi a me.	17 Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their land, they defiled it by their conduct and deeds. In my sight their conduct was like the defilement of a menstruous woman.
18 E sparsi la mia indegnazione sopra loro per lo sangue ch' egli sparsono sopra la terra; e corrompero quella colli loro idoli.	18 Therefore I poured out my fury upon them (because of the blood which they poured out on the ground, and because they defiled it with idols).
19 E io li dispersi tra le genti, e manda'li come vento nella terra; io li ho giudicati secondo le loro vie, e secondo ch' io trovai di loro.	19 I scattered them among the nations, dispersing them over foreign lands; according to their conduct and deeds I judged them.
20 E sono andati alle genti, alle quali entrarono, e corruppono lo mio (santuario e lo mio) santo nome, quando dicevasi di loro: questo è lo popolo di Dio, e sono usciti della terra sua.	20 But when they came among the nations (wherever they came), they served to profane my holy name, because it was said of them: "These are the people of the LORD, yet they had to leave their land."
21 E perdonai al mio santo nome, lo quale avea corrotto lo mio (santo) popolo Israel nelle genti alle quali andorono.	21 So I have relented because of my holy name which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they came.
22 Però dirai alla casa d' Israel: questo dice lo Signore Iddio: o casa d' Israel, io nol farò per voi, ma per lo mio santo nome, lo quale voi corrompeste tra le genti alle quali voi entraste.	22 Therefore say to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord GOD: Not for your sakes do I act, house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy name, which you profaned among the nations to which you came.
23 E santificherò lo mio santo nome, lo quale fue corrotto tra le genti, lo quale voi corrompeste nel mezzo di loro; acciò che sappiano le genti, che io sono lo Signore delli esèrciti, quando io sarò santificato in voi inanzi a loro.	23 I will prove the holiness of my great name, profaned among the nations, in whose midst you have profaned it. Thus the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when in their sight I prove my holiness through you.
24 E io vi torrò delle genti, e radunerovvi di tutte le terre, e menerovvi nella vostra terra.	24 For I will take you away from among the nations, gather you from all the foreign lands, and bring you back to your own land.
25 E spargerò sopra voi l' acqua monda, e netterovvi di tutte le vostre iniquitadi, e monderò voi di tutti li vostri idoli.	25 I will sprinkle clean water upon you to cleanse you from all your impurities, and from all your idols I will cleanse you.
26 E darò a voi lo cuore nuovo, e lo spirito nuovo porrò nel mezzo di voi; e torrò via lo cuore di sasso della carne vostra, e darò a voi lo cuore di carne.	26 I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you, taking from your bodies your stony hearts and giving you natural hearts.
27 E lo spirito nuovo porrò in mezzo di voi, e farò che voi anderete nelli miei comandamenti, e guarderete li miei giudici, e adopereretegli.	27 I will put my spirit within you and make you live by my statutes, careful to observe my decrees.
28 E abiterete nella terra la quale io diedi ai vostri padri, e sarete mio popolo, e io sarò vostro Iddio.	28 You shall live in the land I gave your fathers; you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
29 E salverò voi di tutti li vostri impacci; e chiamerò lo grano, e moltiplicherollo, e non porrò la fame in voi.	29 I will save you from all your impurities; I will order the grain to be abundant, and I will not send famine against you.
30 E moltiplicherò li frutti delli arbori, e lo germoglio del grano, acciò che voi non portiate più lo vituperio della fame tra le genti.	30 I will increase the fruit on your trees and the crops in your fields; thus you shall no longer bear among the nations the reproach of famine.
31 E ricordaretevi de' vostri giudicii rei, e de' vostri studii non buoni; e dispiaceranno a voi. le vostre iniquitadi e le vostre fellonie.	31 Then you shall remember your evil conduct, and that your deeds were not good; you shall loathe yourselves for your sins and your abominations.
32 Io non farò questo per voi, dice lo Signore Iddio; questo vi sia manifesto, o casa d' Israel; confondetevi e vergognatevi sopra (tutte) le (male) vie vostre.	32 Not for your sakes do I act, says the Lord GOD--let this be known to you! Be ashamed and abashed because of your conduct, O house of Israel.
33 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: nel dì ch' io v' averò mondati delle vostre iniquitadi, e averò fatto abitare le cittadi, e averò ristorato quello che rovinò	33 Thus says the Lord GOD: When I purify you from all your crimes, I will repeople the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt;
34 in quella che sarà stata terra diserta, io dirò or ti rallegra, tu ch' eri desolata inanzi alli occhi di tutti li viandanti.	34 the desolate land shall be tilled, which was formerly a wasteland exposed to the gaze of every passer-by.
35 Diranno quella terra [ ch' era] sanza lavorio, è fatta come lo nascimento del diletto; e le cittadi diserte e distrutte e cavate sotto sopra, quelle istettono armate.	35 "This desolate land has been made into a garden of Eden," they shall say. "The cities that were in ruins, laid waste, and destroyed are now repeopled and fortified."
36 E sapranno le genti, qualunque saranno state abbandonate nel vostro circuito, ch' io Signore edificai le cose disfatte, e piantai le cose non lavorate nè governate; e io Signore hoe parlato, e averollo fatto.	36 Thus the neighboring nations that remain shall know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt what was destroyed and replanted what was desolate. I, the LORD, have promised, and I will do it.
37 Questo dice lo Signore Iddio: ancora in questo mi troverà la casa d' Israel, acciò ch' io la faccia loro; io li moltiplicherò come greggia d'uomini,	37 Thus says the Lord GOD: This also I will be persuaded to do for the house of Israel: to multiply them like sheep.
38 e come greggia santa di Ierusalem nelle sue solennitadi; così saranno le cittadi diserte, piene di greggie d' uomini; e sapranno ch' io sono Iddio.	38 As with sacrificial sheep, the sheep of Jerusalem on its feast days, the cities which were in ruins shall be filled with flocks of men; thus they shall know that I am the LORD.
