2 Figli di Caat: Amram, Isaar, Ebron e Oziel.	2 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
3 Figli di Amram: Aaron, Mosè e Maria. Figli di Aaron: Nadab e Abiu, Eleazar e Itamar.	3 And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4 Eleazar generò Finees e Finees generò Abisue;	4 Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,
5 Abisue generò Bocci; e Bocci generò Ozi;	5 And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,

10 Joanan generò Azaria, il quale esercitò il sacerdozio nel tempio che Salomone edificò in Gerusalemme.	10 And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)
11 Azaria generò Amaria e Amaria generò Achitob;	11 And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
12 Achitob generò Sadoc e Sadoc generò Sellum;	12 And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
13 Sellum generò Elcia e Elcia generò Azaria;	13 And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
14 Azaria generò Saraia, e Saraia generò Josedec:	14 And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,
15 Josedec poi se ne andò quando il Signore condusse in cattività Giuda e Gerusalemme per opera di Nabucodonosor.	15 And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16 I figli di Levi dunque furono: Gerson, Caat e Merari.	16 The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17 Questi sono i nomi dei figli di Gerson: Lobni e Semei.	17 And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.
18 Figli di Caat: Amram, Isaar, Ebron e Oziel.	18 And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
19 Figli di Merari: Mooli e Musi. Sono queste le parentele di Levi secondo le loro famiglie:	19 The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.
20 Gerson padre di Lobni, padre di Jaat, padre di Zamma,	20 Of Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,
21 padre di Joa, padre di Addo, padre di Zara, padre di Jetrai.	21 Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.
22 I figli di Caat furono: Aminadab suo figlio, Core figlio di Aminadab, Asir figlio di Core,	22 The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,
23 Elcana figlio di Asir, Abiasaf figlio di Elcana, Asir figlio di Abiasaf,	23 Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,
24 Taat figlio di Asir, Uriel figlio di Taat, Ozia figlio di Uriel, Saul figlio di Ozia.	24 Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.
25 Figli di Elcana: Amasai, Achimot	25 And the sons of Elkanah; Amasai, and Ahimoth.
26 ed Elcana. I figli di Elcana furono: Sofai suo figlio, Naat figlio di Sofai,	26 As for Elkanah: the sons of Elkanah; Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

28 I figli di Samuele furono il primogenito Vasseni e Abia.	28 And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and Abiah.
29 I figli di Merari furono: Mooli, Lobni suo figlio, Semei figlio di Lobni, Oza figlio di Semei,	29 The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,
30 Sammaa figlio di Oza, Aggia figlio di Sammaa, Asaia figlio di Aggia.	30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.
31 Costoro furono costituiti da Davide sopra i cantori della casa del Signore, da quando vi fu collocata l'arca,	31 And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.
32 e servivano quali cantori, davanti al tabernacolo dell'alleanza, finchè Salomone non ebbe edificato la casa del Signore in Gerusalemme. Attendevano poi al loro servizio secondo il loro turno.	32 And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.

36 figlio di Elcana, figlio di Joel, figlio di Azaria, figlio di Sofonia,	36 The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,
37 figlio di Taat, figlio di Asir, figlio di Abiasaf, figlio di Core,	37 The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

44 I figli di Merari loro fratelli erano a sinistra: Etan, figlio di Cusi, figlio di Abdi, figlio di Maloc,	44 And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
45 figlio di Asabia, figlio di Amasia, figlio di Elcia,	45 The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,
46 figlio di Amasai, figlio di Boni, figlio di Somer,	46 The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,

48 E i leviti loro fratelli erano incaricati di tutto il servizio del tabernacolo della casa del Signore.	48 Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

50 Questi sono i figli di Aronne: Eleazar suo figlio, Finees figlio di Eleazar, Abisue figlio di Finees,	50 And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
51 Bocci figlio di Abisue, Ozi figlio di Bocci, Zaraia figlio di Ozi,	51 Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
52 Meraiot figlio di Zaraia, Amaria figlio di Meraiot, Achitob figlio di Amaria,	52 Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
53 Sadoc figlio di Achitob, Achimaas figlio di Sadoc.	53 Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
54 Queste sono le abitazioni loro secondo i villaggi e i confini. Cioè [le abitazioni] dei figli di Aronne secondo la parentela dei Caatiti, ai quali erano toccate in sorte.	54 Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.
55 Fu data dunque ad essi Ebron nella terra di Giuda e tutto il territorio circostante;	55 And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.
56 ma i campi della città e le ville vennero dati a Caleb, figlio di Jefone.	56 But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57 Ai figli di Aronne furono date le città di rifugio Ebron, Lobna e i suoi dintorni,	57 And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,
58 Jeter ed Estemo coi loro dintorni, Elon e Dabir coi loro dintorni,	58 And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,
59 Asan e Betsemes e i loro dintorni.	59 And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs:
60 Della tribù di Beniamino fu data Gabee e i suoi dintorni, Almat coi suoi dintorni, Anatot coi suoi dintorni; in tutto tredici città [divise] tra le loro famiglie.	60 And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
61 Agli altri figli di Caat furono date in sorte dieci città della mezza tribù di Manasse,	61 And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.
62 mentre ai figliuoli di Gersom secondo le varie famiglie furono assegnate tredici città della tribù di Issacar, della tribù di Aser, della tribù di Neftali e della tribù di Manasse in Basan.	62 And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
63 Ai figli di Merari secondo le varie famiglie vennero date in sorte dodici città della tribù di Ruben, della tribù di Gad e della tribù di Zabulon.	63 Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64 I figli d'Israele diedero ai leviti le città coi loro dintorni.	64 And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.
65 Diedero in sorte della tribù dei figli di Giuda e della tribù dei figli di Simeone e della tribù dei figli di Beniamino queste città che designarono nominativamente;	65 And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.
66 e a quelli che erano della parentela dei figli di Caat furono assegnate le città nei confini della tribù di Efraim.	66 And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67 Diedero dunque ad essi come città di rifugio: Sichem coi suoi dintorni, sul monte Efraim, e Gazer coi suoi dintorni,	67 And they gave unto them, of the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with her suburbs; they gave also Gezer with her suburbs,
68 Jecmaan coi suoi dintorni e parimenti Betoron,	68 And Jokmeam with her suburbs, and Beth-horon with her suburbs,
69 Elan coi suoi dintorni e Getremmon allo stesso modo.	69 And Aijalon with her suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with her suburbs:
70 Della mezza tribù di Manasse furono date Aner e i suoi dintorni, Balaam e i suoi dintorni; furono date cioè a quelli che erano rimasti della parentela dei figliuoli di Caat.	70 And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with her suburbs, and Bileam with her suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.
71 Ai figliuoli di Gersom furono assegnate della mezza tribù di Manasse: Gaulon in Basan co' suoi dintorni e Astarot co' suoi dintorni.	71 Unto the sons of Gershom were given out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and Ashtaroth with her suburbs:
72 Della tribù di Issacar: Cedes e i suoi dintorni e Daberet co' suoi dintorni,	72 And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with her suburbs, Daberath with her suburbs,
73 anche Ramot co' suoi dintorni e Anem co' suoi dintorni.	73 And Ramoth with her suburbs, and Anem with her suburbs:
74 Della tribù di Aser: Masal coi suoi dintorni e parimenti Abdon,	74 And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with her suburbs, and Abdon with her suburbs,
75 Ucac e i suoi dintorni, Roob coi suoi dintorni.	75 And Hukok with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs:
76 Finalmente della tribù di Neftali: Cedes in Galilea e i suoi dintorni, Amon coi suoi dintorni e Cariataim e i suoi dintorni.	76 And out of the tribe of Naphtali; Kedesh in Galilee with her suburbs, and Hammon with her suburbs, and Kirjathaim with her suburbs.
77 Ai rimanenti figli di Merari furono assegnate della tribù di Zabulon: Remmono e i suoi dintorni e Tabor coi suoi dintorni.	77 Unto the rest of the children of Merari were given out of the tribe of Zebulun. Rimmon with her suburbs, Tabor with her suburbs:
78 Al di là del Giordano poi dalla parte opposta di Gerico verso oriente del Giordano, della tribù di Ruben: Bosor nella solitudine coi suoi dintorni, e Jassa coi suoi dintorni,	78 And on the other side Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and Jahzah with her suburbs,
79 Cademot e i suoi dintorni e Mefaat coi suoi dintorni.	79 Kedemoth also with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs:
80 Della tribù di Gad: Ramot in Galaad e i suoi dintorni e Manaim co' suoi dintorni	80 And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbs, and Mahanaim with her suburbs,
81 e inoltre Esebon coi suoi dintorni e Jezer coi suoi dintorni.	81 And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Jazer with her suburbs.
