Romans 5

1 So then, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord JesusChrist;	1 Итак, оправдавшись верою, мы имеем мир с Богом через Господа нашего Иисуса Христа,
2 it is through him, by faith, that we have been admitted into God's favour in which we are living, andlook forward exultantly to God's glory.	2 через Которого верою и получили мы доступ к той благодати, в которой стоим и хвалимся надеждою славы Божией.
3 Not only that; let us exult, too, in our hardships, understanding that hardship develops perseverance,	3 И не сим только, но хвалимся и скорбями, зная, что от скорби происходит терпение,
4 and perseverance develops a tested character, something that gives us hope,	4 от терпения опытность, от опытности надежда,
5 and a hope which will not let us down, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts by theHoly Spirit which has been given to us.	5 а надежда не постыжает, потому что любовь Божия излилась в сердца наши Духом Святым, данным нам.
6 When we were stil helpless, at the appointed time, Christ died for the godless.	6 Ибо Христос, когда еще мы были немощны, в определенное время умер за нечестивых.
7 You could hardly find anyone ready to die even for someone upright; though it is just possible that, fora real y good person, someone might undertake to die.	7 Ибо едва ли кто умрет за праведника; разве за благодетеля, может быть, кто и решится умереть.
8 So it is proof of God's own love for us, that Christ died for us while we were stil sinners.	8 Но Бог Свою любовь к нам доказывает тем, что Христос умер за нас, когда мы были еще грешниками.
9 How much more can we be sure, therefore, that, now that we have been justified by his death, we shalbe saved through him from the retribution of God.	9 Посему тем более ныне, будучи оправданы Кровию Его, спасемся Им от гнева.
10 For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how muchmore can we be sure that, being now reconciled, we shal be saved by his life.	10 Ибо если, будучи врагами, мы примирились с Богом смертью Сына Его, то тем более, примирившись, спасемся жизнью Его.
11 What is more, we are filled with exultant trust in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whomwe have already gained our reconciliation.	11 И не довольно сего, но и хвалимся Богом чрез Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, посредством Которого мы получили ныне примирение.
12 Wel then; it was through one man that sin came into the world, and through sin death, and thus deathhas spread through the whole human race because everyone has sinned.	12 Посему, как одним человеком грех вошел в мир, и грехом смерть, так и смерть перешла во всех человеков, [потому что] в нем все согрешили.
13 Sin already existed in the world before there was any law, even though sin is not reckoned whenthere is no law.	13 Ибо [и] до закона грех был в мире; но грех не вменяется, когда нет закона.
14 Nonetheless death reigned over al from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sin was not thebreaking of a commandment, as Adam's was. He prefigured the One who was to come . . .	14 Однако же смерть царствовала от Адама до Моисея и над несогрешившими подобно преступлению Адама, который есть образ будущего.
15 There is no comparison between the free gift and the offence. If death came to many through theoffence of one man, how much greater an effect the grace of God has had, coming to so many and so plentiful yas a free gift through the one man Jesus Christ!	15 Но дар благодати не как преступление. Ибо если преступлением одного подверглись смерти многие, то тем более благодать Божия и дар по благодати одного Человека, Иисуса Христа, преизбыточествуют для многих.
16 Again, there is no comparison between the gift and the offence of one man. One single offencebrought condemnation, but now, after many offences, have come the free gift and so acquittal!	16 И дар не как [суд] за одного согрешившего; ибо суд за одно [преступление] --к осуждению; а дар благодати--к оправданию от многих преступлений.
17 It was by one man's offence that death came to reign over all, but how much greater the reign in lifeof those who receive the ful ness of grace and the gift of saving justice, through the one man, Jesus Christ.	17 Ибо если преступлением одного смерть царствовала посредством одного, то тем более приемлющие обилие благодати и дар праведности будут царствовать в жизни посредством единого Иисуса Христа.
18 One man's offence brought condemnation on al humanity; and one man's good act has broughtjustification and life to all humanity.	18 Посему, как преступлением одного всем человекам осуждение, так правдою одного всем человекам оправдание к жизни.
19 Just as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by one man's obedience are manyto be made upright.	19 Ибо, как непослушанием одного человека сделались многие грешными, так и послушанием одного сделаются праведными многие.
20 When law came on the scene, it was to multiply the offences. But however much sin increased, gracewas always greater;	20 Закон же пришел после, и таким образом умножилось преступление. А когда умножился грех, стала преизобиловать благодать,
21 so that as sin's reign brought death, so grace was to rule through saving justice that leads to eternallife through Jesus Christ our Lord.	21 дабы, как грех царствовал к смерти, так и благодать воцарилась через праведность к жизни вечной Иисусом Христом, Господом нашим.
