Hosea 10

1 Israel was a luxuriant vine yielding plenty of fruit. The more his fruit increased, the more altars he built;the richer his land became, the richer he made the sacred pil ars.	1 Израиль--ветвистый виноград, умножает для себя плод: чем более у него плодов, тем более умножает жертвенники; чем лучше земля у него, тем более украшают они кумиры.
2 Theirs is a divided heart; now they wil have to pay for it. He himself will hack down their altars andwreck their sacred pil ars.	2 Разделилось сердце их, за то они и будут наказаны: Он разрушит жертвенники их, сокрушит кумиры их.
3 Then they wil say, 'We have no king because we have not feared Yahweh, but what could the king dofor us?'	3 Теперь они говорят: 'нет у нас царя, ибо мы не убоялись Господа; а царь, --что он нам сделает?'
4 Speeches are made, oaths sworn to no purpose, agreements concluded, and so-called justicespreads like a poisonous weed along the furrows of the fields!	4 Говорят слова [пустые], клянутся ложно, заключают союзы; за то явится суд над ними, как ядовитая трава на бороздах поля.
5 Samaria's citizens wil tremble for the calf of Beth-Aven; the people there wil mourn for it, so wil itsidol-priests, as they exult in its glory once it has been carried away!	5 За тельца Беф-Авена вострепещут жители Самарии; восплачет о нем народ его, и жрецы его, радовавшиеся о нем, будут плакать о славе его, потому что она отойдет от него.
6 It wil be carried off to Assyria as tribute to the Great King. Ephraim will reap the shame, and Israelblush for his intentions.	6 И сам он отнесен будет в Ассирию, в дар царю Иареву; постыжен будет Ефрем, и посрамится Израиль от замысла своего.
7 Samaria has had her day. Her king is like a straw drifting on the water.	7 Исчезнет в Самарии царь ее, как пена на поверхности воды.
8 The high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, wil be destroyed; thorns and thistles wil grow over theiraltars. Then they wil say to the mountains, 'Cover us!' and to the hil s, 'Fal on us!'	8 И истреблены будут высоты Авена, грех Израиля; терние и волчцы вырастут на жертвенниках их, и скажут они горам: 'покройте нас', и холмам: 'падите на нас'.
9 Since the days of Gibeah, Israel, you have sinned. There they have taken their stand, and will not warovertake the guilty at Gibeah?	9 Больше, нежели во дни Гивы, грешил ты, Израиль; там они устояли; война в Гаваоне против сынов нечестия не постигла их.
10 I am coming to punish them; nations will muster against them to punish them for their two crimes.	10 По желанию Моему накажу их, и соберутся против них народы, и они будут связаны за двойное преступление их.
11 Ephraim is a wel -trained heifer that loves to tread the grain. But I have laid a yoke on her fine neck, Ishall put Ephraim into harness, Judah wil have to plough, Jacob must draw the harrow.	11 Ефрем--обученная телица, привычная к молотьбе, и Я Сам возложу ярмо на тучную шею его; на Ефреме будут верхом ездить, Иуда будет пахать, Иаков будет боронить.
12 Sow saving justice for yourselves, reap a harvest of faithful love; break up your fal ow ground: it istime to seek out Yahweh until he comes to rain saving justice down on you.	12 Сейте себе в правду, и пожнете милость; распахивайте у себя новину, ибо время взыскать Господа, чтобы Он, когда придет, дождем пролил на вас правду.
13 You have ploughed wickedness, you have reaped iniquity, you have eaten the fruit of falsehood.Because you have trusted in your chariots, in your great numbers of warriors,	13 Вы возделывали нечестие, пожинаете беззаконие, едите плод лжи, потому что ты надеялся на путь твой, на множество ратников твоих.
14 turmoil is going to break out among your people, and al your fortresses will be laid waste. AsShalman laid Beth-Arbel waste on the day of battle, dashing mothers to pieces on their children,	14 И произойдет смятение в народе твоем, и все твердыни твои будут разрушены, как Салман разрушил Бет-Арбел в день брани: мать была убита с детьми.
15 so it shal be done to you, Bethel, because of your great wickedness; at dawn, the king of Israel wilbe no more.	15 Вот что причинит вам Вефиль за крайнее нечестие ваше.
