JERUSALEM	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 Juge-moi, Dieu, défends ma cause contre des gens sans amour; de l'homme perfide et pervers,délivre-moi.	1 Grant me justice, God; defend me from a faithless people; from the deceitful and unjust rescue me.
2 C'est toi le Dieu de ma force: pourquoi me rejeter? Pourquoi m'en aller en deuil, accablé parl'ennemi?	2 You, God, are my strength. Why then do you spurn me? Why must I go about mourning, with the enemy oppressing me?
3 Envoie ta lumière et ta vérité: elles me guideront, me mèneront à ta montagne sainte, jusqu'en tesDemeures.	3 Send your light and fidelity, that they may be my guide And bring me to your holy mountain, to the place of your dwelling,
4 Et j'irai vers l'autel de Dieu, jusqu'au Dieu de ma joie. J'exulterai, je te rendrai grâce sur la harpe,Dieu, mon Dieu.	4 That I may come to the altar of God, to God, my joy, my delight. Then I will praise you with the harp, O God, my God.
5 Qu'as-tu, mon âme, à défaillir et à gémir sur moi? Espère en Dieu: à nouveau je lui rendrai grâce, lesalut de ma face et mon Dieu!	5 Why are you downcast, my soul? Why do you groan within me? Wait for God, whom I shall praise again, my savior and my God.
