1 Cantique pour les montées. Je lève les yeux vers les monts: d'où viendra mon secours?	1 A song of ascents. I raise my eyes toward the mountains. From where will my help come?
2 Le secours me vient de Yahvé qui a fait le ciel et la terre.	2 My help comes from the LORD, the maker of heaven and earth.
3 Qu'il ne laisse broncher ton pied! qu'il ne dorme, ton gardien!	3 God will not allow your foot to slip; your guardian does not sleep.
4 Vois, il ne dort ni ne sommeille, le gardien d'Israël.	4 Truly, the guardian of Israel never slumbers nor sleeps.
5 Yahvé est ton gardien, ton ombrage, Yahvé, à ta droite.	5 The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your righthand.
6 De jour, le soleil ne te frappe, ni la lune en la nuit.	6 By day the sun cannot harm you, nor the moon by night.
7 Yahvé te garde de tout mal, il garde ton âme.	7 The LORD will guard you from all evil, will always guard your life.
8 Yahvé te garde au départ, au retour, dès lors et à jamais.	8 The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever.
