1 Au maître de chant. Psaume de David.	1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me unto the end? how long dost thou turn away thy face from me?
2 Veux-tu donc, Seigneur, m’oublier jusqu’à la fin? Voudras-tu toujours me cacher ton visage?	2 How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?
3 Devrai-je sans cesse garder en moi ma souffrance et dans mon cœur le chagrin tout au long du jour? Mon ennemi sera-t-il toujours le plus fort?	3 How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?
4 Regarde et réponds-moi, Seigneur mon Dieu. Que mes yeux voient ta lumière, ou je m’endors avec les morts.	4 Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:
5 Alors mon ennemi pourra dire: “Je l’ai eu”, et mes adversaires s’amuseront de ma chute.	5 lest at any time my enemy say: I have prevailed against him. They that trouble me will rejoice when I am moved:
6 Mais moi, je m’en remets à ta grâce, donne à mon cœur la joie d’être sauvé. Alors mon chant dira: “Le Seigneur m’a fait du bien.”	6 but I have trusted in thy mercy. My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation: I will sing to the Lord, who giveth me good things: yea I will sing to the name of the Lord the most high.
