Isaiah 52

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA
1 Awake, awake! Clothe yourself in strength, Zion. Put on your finest clothes, Jerusalem, Holy City; forthe uncircumcised and the unclean will enter you no more.	1 Svegliati, svegliati, rivestiti della tua magnificenza, Sion; indossa le vesti più belle, Gerusalemme, città santa; perché mai più entrerà in te il non circonciso né l'impuro.
2 Shake off your dust; get up, captive Jerusalem! The chains have fal en from your neck, captivedaughter of Jerusalem!	2 Scuotiti la polvere, alzati, Gerusalemme schiava! Sciogliti dal collo i legami, schiava figlia di Sion!
3 For Yahweh says this, 'You were sold for nothing; you wil be redeemed without money.'	3 Poiché dice il Signore: "Senza prezzo foste venduti e sarete riscattati senza denaro".
4 For the Lord Yahweh says this, 'Long ago my people went to Egypt and settled there as aliens; final yAssyria oppressed them for no reason.	4 Poiché dice il Signore Dio: "In Egitto è sceso il mio popolo un tempo per abitarvi come straniero; poi l'Assiro senza motivo lo ha oppresso.
5 So now what is to be done,' declares Yahweh, 'since my people have been carried off for nothing, theirmasters howl in triumph,' declares Yahweh, 'and my name is held in contempt all day, every day?	5 Ora, che faccio io qui? - oracolo del Signore - Sì, il mio popolo è stato deportato per nulla! I suoi dominatori trionfavano - oracolo del Signore - e sempre, tutti i giorni il mio nome è stato disprezzato.
6 Because of this my people wil know my name, because of this they will know when the day comes,that it is I saying, Here I am!'	6 Pertanto il mio popolo conoscerà il mio nome, comprenderà in quel giorno che io dicevo: Eccomi qua".
7 How beautiful on the mountains, are the feet of the messenger announcing peace, of the messenger ofgood news, who proclaims salvation and says to Zion, 'Your God is king!'	7 Come sono belli sui monti i piedi del messaggero di lieti annunzi che annunzia la pace, messaggero di bene che annunzia la salvezza, che dice a Sion: "Regna il tuo Dio".
8 The voices of your watchmen! Now they raise their voices, shouting for joy together, for with their owneyes they have seen Yahweh returning to Zion.	8 Senti? Le tue sentinelle alzano la voce, insieme gridano di gioia, poiché vedono con gli occhi il ritorno del Signore in Sion.

10 Yahweh has bared his holy arm for al the nations to see, and al the ends of the earth have seen thesalvation of our God.	10 Il Signore ha snudato il suo santo braccio davanti a tutti i popoli; tutti i confini della terra vedranno la salvezza del nostro Dio.
11 Go away, go away, leave that place, do not touch anything unclean. Get out of her, purify yourselves,you who carry Yahweh's vessels!	11 Fuori, fuori, uscite di là! Non toccate niente d'impuro. Uscite da essa, purificatevi, voi che portate gli arredi del Signore!
12 For you are not to hurry away, you are not to leave like fugitives. No, Yahweh marches at your headand the God of Israel is your rearguard.	12 Voi non dovrete uscire in fretta né andarvene come uno che fugge, perché davanti a voi cammina il Signore, il Dio di Israele chiude la vostra carovana.
13 Look, my servant will prosper, wil grow great, wil rise to great heights.	13 Ecco, il mio servo avrà successo, sarà onorato, esaltato e molto innalzato.
14 As many people were aghast at him -- he was so inhumanly disfigured that he no longer looked like aman-	14 Come molti si stupirono di lui - tanto era sfigurato per essere d'uomo il suo aspetto e diversa la sua forma da quella dei figli dell'uomo -
15 so many nations wil be astonished and kings wil stay tight-lipped before him, seeing what had neverbeen told them, learning what they had not heard before.	15 così si meraviglieranno di lui molte genti; i re davanti a lui si chiuderanno la bocca, poiché vedranno un fatto mai ad essi raccontato e comprenderanno ciò che mai avevano udito.
