Nehemiah 12

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA
1 These are the priests and the Levites who came back with Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua:	1 Questi sono i sacerdoti e i leviti che sono tornati con Zorobabèle figlio di Sealtiel, e con Giosuè: Seraia, Geremia, Esdra,
2 Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,	2 Amaria, Malluch, Cattus,

4 Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah,	4 Iddo, Ghinneton, Abia,
5 Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,	5 Miamin, Maadia, Bilga,
6 Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,	6 Semaia, Ioiarìb, Iedaia,
7 Sal u, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah -- these were the heads of the priests and their kinsmen in the days ofJeshua.	7 Sallu, Amok, Chelkia, Iedaia. Questi erano i capi dei sacerdoti e dei loro fratelli al tempo di Giosuè.
8 The Levites were Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, Mattaniah -- this last, with his brothers,was in charge of the songs of praise,	8 Leviti: Giosuè, Binnui, Kadmiel, Serebia, Giuda, Mattania, che con i suoi fratelli era preposto al canto degli inni di lode.

22 In the time of Eliashib, Joiada, Johanan and Jaddua, the heads of the families of priests wereregistered in the Book of Chronicles, up to the reign of Darius the Persian.	22 I leviti furono registrati, quanto ai capi casato, al tempo di Eliasìb, di Ioiadà, di Giovanni e di Iaddua; e i sacerdoti sotto il regno di Dario, il Persiano.
23 The Levites who were heads of families were registered in the Book of Chronicles up to the time ofJohanan, grandson of Eliashib.	23 I capi dei casati levitici sono registrati nel libro delle Cronache fino al tempo di Giovanni, figlio di Eliasìb.
24 The heads of the Levites were Hashabiah, Sherebiah, Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, while their brotherswho formed an alternate choir for the hymns of praise and thanksgiving, as David, man of God, had prescribed,section corresponding to section,	24 I capi dei leviti Casabià, Serebia, Giosuè, figlio di Kadmiel, insieme con i loro fratelli, che stavano di fronte a loro, dovevano cantare inni e lodi a turni alternati, secondo l'ordine di Davide, uomo di Dio.
25 were Mattaniah, Bakbukiah and Obadiah. Meshul am, Talmon and Akkub were the gatekeepersguarding the stores at the gates.	25 Mattania, Bakbukia, Abdia, Mesullàm, Talmon, Akkub erano portieri e facevano la guardia ai magazzini delle porte.
26 These lived in the days of Joiakim son of Jeshua, son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah thegovernor and of Ezra the priest-scribe.	26 Questi vivevano al tempo di Ioiachìm figlio di Giosuè, figlio di Iozadàk e al tempo di Neemia il governatore e di Esdra sacerdote e scriba.
27 At the dedication of the wal of Jerusalem the Levites were sent for, wherever they lived, to come toJerusalem and joyful y perform the dedication with hymns of thanksgiving and songs to the accompaniment ofcymbals, lyres and harps.	27 Per la dedicazione delle mura di Gerusalemme si mandarono a cercare i leviti da tutti i luoghi dove si trovavano, per farli venire a Gerusalemme, perché la dedicazione si celebrasse con gioia, con inni e cantici e suono di cembali, saltéri e cetre.
28 Accordingly, the levitical singers assembled from the district round Jerusalem, from the vil ages ofthe Netophathites,	28 Gli appartenenti al corpo dei cantori si radunarono dal distretto intorno a Gerusalemme, dai villaggi dei Netofatiti,

31 I then made the leaders of Judah come on to the top of the wall and appointed two large choirs. 36 with his kinsmen, Shemaiah, Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, Juda, Hanani, with the musicalinstruments of David, man of God. The scribe Ezra walked at their head.	36 e i suoi fratelli Semaia, Azareèl, Milalài, Ghilalài, Maài, Netaneèl, Giuda, Canàni, con gli strumenti musicali di Davide, uomo di Dio; Esdra lo scriba camminava alla loro testa.
37 At the Fountain Gate they went straight on up the steps of the City of David, along the top of therampart by the stairway of the wal , above the Palace of David as far as the Water Gate, on the east.	37 Giunti alla porta della Fonte, salirono davanti a loro per la scalinata della città di Davide sulle mura in salita, oltre la casa di Davide, fino alla porta delle Acque, a oriente.

43 There were great sacrifices offered that day and the people rejoiced, God having given them goodcause for rejoicing; the women and children rejoiced too, and the joy of Jerusalem could be heard from far away.	43 In quel giorno il popolo offrì numerosi sacrifici e si allietò, perché Dio gli aveva concesso una grande gioia. Anche le donne e i fanciulli si rallegrarono e la gioia di Gerusalemme si sentiva di lontano.
44 For the rooms intended for the treasures, contributions, first-fruits and tithes, supervisors were thenappointed whose business it was to col ect in them those portions from the town lands awarded by the Law tothe priests and Levites. For Judah rejoiced in the officiating priests and Levites,	44 In quel tempo, alcuni uomini furono preposti alle stanze che servivano da magazzini delle offerte, delle primizie, delle decime, perché vi raccogliessero dalle campagne dipendenti dalla città le parti assegnate dalla legge ai sacerdoti e ai leviti; perché i Giudei gioivano vedendo i sacerdoti e i leviti ai loro posti.
45 since they -- with the singers and gatekeepers -- performed the liturgy of their God and the rites of purification as ordained by David and his son Solomon.	45 Questi osservavano ciò che si riferiva al servizio del loro Dio e alle purificazioni; come facevano, dal canto loro, i cantori e i portieri, secondo l'ordine di Davide e di Salomone suo figlio.
46 For from ancient times, from the days of David and Asaph, they had been the leaders in renderinghymns of praise and thanksgiving to God.	46 Poiché già anticamente, al tempo di Davide e di Asaf, vi erano capi cantori e venivano innalzati canti di lode e di ringraziamento a Dio.
47 In the days of Zerubbabel and Nehemiah, al Israel supplied regular daily portions for the singers andgatekeepers, and gave the dedicated contributions to the Levites; and the Levites gave the dedicatedcontributions to the Aaronites.	47 Tutto Israele, al tempo di Zorobabele e di Neemia, dava ogni giorno le porzioni assegnate ai cantori e ai portieri; dava ai leviti le cose consacrate e i leviti davano ai figli di Aronne le cose consacrate che loro spettavano.
